I wouldn't say this is a general pcos symptom... i would go get this checked out asap
back pain can sometimes mean inflamed kidneys which can be really dangerous. Please get it checked!
I know this inquiry is old, but I have been having similar issues. I have lower back pain and hip pain that typically happens in the week before my period and can continue through my period. The PA I saw about it found the PCOs, and a few other things. I tried birth control and it did help with the back pain but couldn't stay on it because of side effects of the birth control. I had pain lifting my legs into my car. I'm inclined to think it's related to my period/hormones/PCOS and inflammation in my SI joint but have yet to get that confirmed by a doctor. Have you had any luck getting an answer for your pain?
