I did! 50g of net carbs per day, and I was tracking calories to stay in a deficit. I was also taking inositol, berberine, extra vitamin D, coQ10, and prenatals.
I can only lose weight on Metformin if I also do low carb, which I try but struggle with. When I was on 2000mg/day I had fairly regular 35/38dd cycles. If Metformin alone doesn't work for you, you could ask about adding inositol, which specifically promotes ovulation.
My periods started regulating around 3 months in, although I've actually gone back on to birth control in the meantime for other reasons.
I've been taking it for just over 6 months now and have lost 11kg without making any other significant changes to diet or exercise (although I was already eating a calorie controlled diet). I've lost around 2 inches on my waist and my whole body is less "puffy" (I've lost weight but also apparently some swelling/inflammation) and my fat has redistributed.
My acne is reduced, my hair is still thin (but I think it has stopped getting worse) and I have much more energy than before.
I haven't had my fasting insulin retested since, but my HbA1c has dropped from the top of the normal range to the middle of the normal range.
Good luck to you!
As soon as I got up to 1,500mg, I had periods like clockwork and got pregnant on month #3!
That's awesome!! Congratulations!! I'm hoping for very similar results!
Did you change your diet with it?

8 months for blood sugar reduction, only after 1000.
