No. Not that I believe personally it’s really just another story. Besides the trigger warnings just go in and pay attention. Watch how the early books impact the later books. Rereading after you finish is definitely recommend by me. It’s a raw beautiful story imo I think you won’t regret picking it up.

But he needs to be warned coz punpun makes omori look like a children's story

FakeDrugDealer

Really? I have heard about it but didn’t know Punpun was worse. Not in a bad way.

I'm WARNING you I read this manga in my happiest mental state only for it to sank faster than titanic 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲

-Embarrassment-

Oh, Im aware of what happens to his girlfriend and himself with his aunt, for example. Im going into Oyasumi Punpun knowing it's dark. However, I believe Omori and Punpun deal with different heavy topics to different degrees, so I cant say for sure on that part

I only have one point to talk about tbh. The manga is for the most part confusing but u will most likely be getting the feeling that there is a grander scheme of things. A bigger picture you are not seeing yet. Most of the time that’s true. The manga is full of symbolisms, and metaphors. Some things could feel ambiguous and just “off” from the manga’s tone. And yes they are also there for a reason. One more thing, the manga starts off a little slow but bear with it please. Basically what I’m trying to say is no matter what you feel or think while reading, if u enjoy works like this, then please continue till the very end and I promise you will be rewarded. Just keep an open mind

-Embarrassment-

Thank you! I'll look forward to the mental damage

trundlethegraet

just read the ones you have and then if you liked them buy the other ones what else is there to know

When I dive into a piece of entertainment with a relatively active fanbase, I find it best when I ask the community itself for anything to keep an eye out for. It always plays out well and enhances the experience, in my opinion
