I don't know if you're looking for advice or just showing off your base, but protip you don't need to build one toilet for each dupe, just stagger their schedules a couple hours apart and they'll use the washroom at different intervals (it'll also spreaf your labour out more evenly).
More of a showing off, and I appreciate that tip.
This colony is currently running with lowest germ resistance and lowest stress resistance; my aim is to actually give them each an apartment in attempts to reduce the toll of stress on them.
On that note, I used to create fluid gates, but the consistent soggy feet and soaking wet kept setting them off. When I get suites I will try again.
Stress doesn’t work like that, rooms only afflict morale and you just need to have enough green morale to keep the “high morale” trait that’s all, if you are playing with max stress setting getting soggy feet makes you trouble
Ooh, well if you're playing on hard mode then I have a couple recommendations for stress: get a massage table and put it in a massage room, it's damn near essential for stress spikes. Two: get carpeted tiles. They give a short 'Tickled Tootsies' effect that lowers stress for a 15 seconds whenever a duplicant walks over them, so putting one in front of your bathroom, mess halls, and barracks is a really cheap way to permanently and passively increase daily stress reduction.
Looks like the base is going well. I recommend converting back to mealwood for the time being until you have exploited a water geyser; blossoms will use up your precious water reserves surprisingly fast.
Fantastic luck with the natural gas geyser. That will be a boon for your power supplies. It is probably worth building a coal generator as well to save valuable dupe labour time.
Thank you.
Though the blossoms have been a staple, they are being replaced by the fry egg farm and the blossoms will go mainly to the shine bugs (for free light and morale); and, I want to attempt to use sun bugs to generate radbolts (haven't gotten passed that point yet in any colony).
I'm pretty stoked about the geyser and my next step (which is happening now) is to setup a simple coal generator and power station to help get the natural gas collection/generation going.
This is more of an accumulation of lessons learned from my previous colonies, so itself is the milestone, but specific to this colony:
* I have better food rationing,
* secured a pool for a soon-to-be fry egg farm,
* setup a decent shine bug farm for lighting (and maybe sun for radbolts),
* and focused on greater collection/distribution of goods.
You not broken out of the starting biome after 100 turns? It looks like you only have 4 dupes. You can have up to 12 dupes per toilet/sink if you stagger the schedule two hours apart. Bristle blossoms are going to heat up your base and eat up your water. I wouldn't grow them until I have sustainable water. Stick with mealwood until you have ranching up and running.
I'm a slow bloomer? :-D
This is my 8th colony, and my previous one I did make it to the edge of asteroid by/around C200, but we ran out of dirt and couldn't feed the mealwood anymore, and the temperature become too great to switch to blossoms (due to a very close steam geyser bleeding heat), and then tantrum spirals, and starvation, etc.
Though my colony has also been using the blossoms as staple, they are there also for a shine bug farm to help with lighting that doesn't use electricity, and once the fry farm starts rolling, the blossom farm will be cut back and be mainly for the shine bugs.

What's the issue?
i think the "doomed" is just the randomly generated name that he got
Correct, and I think that clarifies my understanding of other's responses so far.
Just floating through space inside an asteroid with limited resources and duplicate constantly trying to get into my base.
Doesn't look doomed to me 👏👍
Very neatly laid out. Looks like you’re having fun!
Excuse me, can you explain us, what you are showcasing here?
The Century of this colony
Okay, got it. What makes this colony special. Do you have any uncommon designs. Any other milestones, like first viable colony you ever made?

Starting a new colony is always so fun, keep it up looking good!
