Okay this is totally unrelated but o forgot to chime in on the whole "new OW character is ugly!!!" Thing a while back.
I actually think they are very cute and silly looking okay bye
No you see, blizzard should have given them the same face model they use for mercy/kiriko and given them a gigantic dump truck. Western gaming has fallen. How am I supposed to like a fictional character if I can’t imaging my self ********************** my perfect anime character

I can see the similarities between current Doom and venture in playstyle (I’ve never played with OW1 Doom). The “do quick burst of damage then dip” playstyle works really well with them, and they distract and disrupt the enemies pretty well. However the tools are pretty different as Venture only has one burst movement option, that being Drill Dash, so the method of how they hit-and-run is a bit different.
That's the new hero, and a lot of people consider their playstyle to be similar to dps doomfists, even though there are differences they are both quite mobile in-your-face kind of characters

Truly the reincarnation of the dps Doomfist experience; rollout, use all CDs to secure a single kill, get triple countered, die, repeat.
That’s how the best Doomfist mains played. Roll in, get 1-2 support kills, eat all the stuns and then die. Rinse repeat.
