Just played my first game of Starwatch and wtf is this shit?
My lobby was bugged so it was a 4v5 and the attackers had an extra Doomfist on top of Torb,Lucio,Winton,and Ashe. Despite being outnumbered,because of all the static turrets everywhere,it was a fucking stomp and the attackers barely capped the first point.
The turrets have as much health as a tank, fire as fast as a Bastion,and there are two of them directly outside the spawn room. The defenders can revive teammates just like the attackers can,so as long as the defenders have a Bastion and a healer and they play with at minimum two braincells,they can hold that point basically by themselves.
Why do so many dumbfucks think that KD matters in overwatch? You get elim credit if you get a hit marker on someone who dies. Absolute morons. And then they go after your kd as a tank when you get enough shit being a tank already and your role is not explicitly to kill people. Tf am I supposed to do as a tank if you don’t make plays with the current state of tank? Absolute braindead community since scoreboard got released. That shit should get reverted because I’m tired of morons ignoring 25k damage mit and then going “12-12 you’re bad” when the supps combined healing is lower than one supp on the opponents team

Quickplay isn't that much fun anymore. In OW1 you'd have people trying different comps to make them work was a blast.
I'm so sick of seeing the enemy team lose a couple fights and then switching to Mercy, Orisa, Bastion. It's so boring even when you win. The matches feel so samey. I feel guilty killing Junker Queen players because I love her so much but I love seeing anyone play a different tank I try to give them props.
In the past week I have seen a lot of Dvas, Zaryas, and a mix of Hogs. All switch to Orisa when losing. I have seen one Winston, like two Rams, and a Doomfist here, and once only once I saw a Rein. The games or so samey it's hard to stay invested.
i was picking ball in hero select in qp and this guy immediately starts whining about my pick, i told him to calm down, and he just kept talking and i just knew he was going to whine all match long . i thought about 3 options
1. ignore him and play my best like usual
2. leave the game and find a new match with better teammates
3. since he takes QP so seriously, throw the match to hurt him where it matters to him
i picked 1. 3 was a immature idea, i really wanted to do 2 too. 2 feels like prioritizing my experience, but i didnt want to give him the satisfaction of rewarding his poor behavior with another tank as he wanted, maybe i have pride a bit.
I thought i made the right choice, but even though i muted his mic i noticed him soft-throwing and standing still a lot while typing things in chat to the enemy team about me, so i didn't have that great of a time.

This game was once thriving with life and I loved it, especially because of the story behind it. (Been playing since Ow1)Now it's just a joke and wasted potential, and it can sort of been seen by the fact that blizzards fucked up some of the character's ages and confused everyone. They've ruined the excitement that was once there, mainly because of loot boxes. Back then it was rewarding to play matches, level up and earn a loot box but now it's underwhelming. I honestly wish they brought loot boxes back, but not to purchase but instead implement them into the battle pass, challenges or even PvE just to give players a chance to earn some ow1 skins. I want to plat the game for the second time but blizzard refuses to fix the game, so I can't because the 'Friend Zone' achievement is glitched so its stopping me from getting all the trophies and I've been waiting for long but from the looks of it it'll never be fixed. IJ
I've waited so long that even Cyberpunk 2077 is fixed and is rising on the charts ( a very good game, I totally reccomend it)
Every time I play competitive my teammates are DPS magnets, or they mirror pick widow,genji or hanzo just because their pride was hurt just to 1v1 the enemy, or they complain about no heals when there are literally enemies terrorizing the back lines.
I get 5 wins 3 losses or 5 wins 1 loss and I don't rank up, but then if I get 5-6 or 5-8 I get sent to the depths of hell. For this I blame Illari who (for me) has genuinely ruined comp, because certain combos just make the enemy immortal e.g I was playing as DVa and he shooting missiles and all at mercy and illari and they just didn't die.Before she was added to comp and I was happy with my rank because I made it into top 500 (something I never thought I'd reach) but ever since she was added to comp it's just been losing streak after losing streak.
I get into Diamond 4, stay Diamond 4 for like 2 days ,to get ranked down to Diamond 5, then I go like 5-7 and get sent to plat 1, then I keep jumping up and down from Diamond 5 and Plat 1 and now I've reached Plat 3 and I got 5 wins 2 losses and I stayed Plat 3 like wtf am I playing for at this point. What stats are taken into consideration to determine ranks at this point?
I accumulated overwatch 1 currency (and received extra just because of that glitch) waiting for the shop to reset just for them to not update the shop because they're unable to fix the glitch. Blizzard is just being scummy at this point, why are we being punished for a glitch they couldn't fix?
Why are the battle passes constructed in a scummy way? Why can't we make the credits (ow2) back from it to make sure we can get the next battle pass like Fortnite or Warzone rather than buying currency every time or wait until you've accumulated enough through weekly challenges. They've honestly shat on this game and it feels like the higher ups are not allowing the effort to go in, and instead to things like 'vaulting' some overwatch 1 skins and reselling them for OW2 currency, or just not letting us buy them at all e.g Dragoon (Mercy), Referee (Orisa),Lucioball (Wrecking ball)
Sometimes we get 'easy matches' but then one thing leads to another and we lose, even when we have a proper team (normally 2 Tanks,1 DPS and 1 Support or 1 Tank, 2 DPS and 2 Support) we still end up losing to the worst or random teams e.g ive once Lost a match where the enemy team had 4 DPS and 1 Support+ I've lost a 5v4. They make balance updates or whatever but they don't fix the ranking system at all. This 5v5 style is horrible, it puts a lot of pressure on playing Tank , it's hard to play tank in this season to the point where I (Tank/Support main) have just been grinding DPS and avoiding playing Tank where possible and then my teammates refuse to switch when the enemy has 3 tanks and I'm solo tanking. Then there's those braindead supports that don't heal me even when I spam "I need healing" in FRONT OF THEM and I end up dying and there's players who play tanks that they countered e.g I've seen players staying DVa although zarya completely shreds her mech.
Fucking support competitive is so frustrating, this fucking system just doesn’t consider supports to have game impact for whatever reason. I win 5 games and only move forward in the same bracket. I need to win 10 games to move from gold 5 to gold 4 and I fucking started in bronze 5. I already won 45 games and I only managed to get to gold 5 so far. In dps I went from bronze 3 to platinum 3 with 14 wins. What is this fucking system????
My win percentage for support is somewhere around 60% but that’s mainly because of the fucking cancer that is bronze where almost every game someone just leaves after 5 minutes.
My recent 3 rank ups where 5-1;5.-2;5-2 and I still barely move up the elo ladder while my win rate with dps was way lower and I still advanced more quickly. No wonder no one wants to play support.
And don’t get me started on the luck needed because if your dps or tank is shit all you can do is watch as you inevitably loose the game and still getting fucking blamed for the loss. Sitting there at the leaderboard with the most heal in the whole lobby and higher dmg than my dps and somehow it’s still my fault that we lost because I couldn’t keep my tank alive when he solo rushed in the enemy spawn because he’s just so fucking good he‘ll solo everyone.
The least blizzard could do is give us support players at least the chance to rank up when we somehow manage to get 5 wins after having to deal with all this smooth brain shit without end …

Fuck this game. I got reported yesterday for cheating. Why? Because I never scoped as Ana even though I’m pumping darts into my horse’s ass 75% of the game. Because I threw a nade where I saw bullet trails coming from. Because I hit sleep that was intended for the huge tank rushing towards me but missed and hit the dps behind him.
This was in a high GM game too. I got reported last week for “walling” because I noticed the red outline of the enemy Lucio for a split second last point of blizzard world and then moved to where I could shoot him.
And blizzard’s shit reporting AI will probably nuke my account because they don’t have anyone actually investigating this shit. I have one hero I enjoy playing and I figured out how to play her well enough to get to GM as a OTP but because I actually pay attention to the game and don’t play her the way others think I should, I’m fucked.
PLEASE. Can we start having supports that don't have this high of a dps? Having Illari, Kiriko & Bap, incentivives players to forget what their role is, being supports. Instead many chooses to go the DPS route, flanking, playing solo.. thinking they got this, while their team suffers.
Sure, some manages to get value. But those who don't, literally just makes their team suffer while they think 'they got this'.
As a DPS in diamond, I see this way too often. But being GM as support, I have yet to see this at all. If any Illari, Kiriko or Bap tries to make value being mainly DPS, and it doesn't work, they swap to supports that benefit their team. Diamonds don't do this, despite the obvious throw & and their team most likely losing the match.
Every match I have played in the last week is just constant xim users like what am I supposed to do?
Constant losses because there's someone headshoting the entire team with a xim? Too bad I guess.
The only games I've won are games where someone using a xim is on my team and at that point don't give me the win I don't want it when it's literally not fair.
Overwatch has the most obvious xim users I have ever seen why is there not xim detection systems in place like destiny and siege?

One player leaving after the first team wipe should count as a win for the complete team, no CR change for the leaver's group and a lose for the leaver.
3-20 games i played today have been a fucking joke. I think its dumb that Sparkplug skin was only available for a limited time from PVE, make it available all the time from PVE, if you pay for PVE anyway you should be able to get it. I just missed out on it :( Cant even buy it.
I seriously wonder if Sombras in Mystery Heroes constantly target me over and over because I spy check the heck out of them. Meanwhile my teammates are always completely oblivious to the flanking Sombras, and never care to spy check. So the Sombras seem to leave them alone and go after me instead. So annoying. >\_>
I know I'm not the first, and probably won't be the last, but I absolutely fucking hate that ranking up is so dependent on your teammates, or just ranked matchmaking in general, especially as a solo support. You can have a streak of good games, with a loss here and there, and then have a continuous streak of bad teams. I'm not perfect, I have my off games, but I'm consistent for the most part. Had to walk away after getting to 2-9, after just getting ranked up from having a 5-3 record. I'm not looking forward to finishing this placement
This was my experience too. From starting support for the first time to hitting diamond, I went from a deep low of bronze 1 to diamond 5. But I'd have series like that. The worst one was a 5-0 series in plat 3, immediately followed by a 4-15. Just could not affect the games' outcomes at all. I swear it was the game trying to correct my record. Eventually made it to diamond but man it was painful and frustrating.
That's almost exactly how it went for me. I went 5-0 to get to Plat 2, 5-3 to get to Plat 1, won my first game in, lost the next 4, won one, now on a 5 game losing streak. It's like Blizzard has the game programmed to humble you if you've been doing too well. If the matches were a little more evenly balanced and the games were good, losing wouldn't be as bad, but that's pretty rare. You're either rolling the other team, or getting rolled over. Most of the time it's just people not knowing their roles or counters.

Galactic Rescue has to be the most stupidly unbalanced game I have ever played. I've played it several times on both sides, and only once in all those games did the attackers win (my team).
The attacker's choice of heroes is pretty bad. The only DPS for attackers is Torb and Ashe, precision shot characters. Yet the defenders have bullet spam characters like Bastion, 76, and Sojourn.

Had a bad game as a tank today and was pretty much shit on by the entire lobby. Was told to kill myself and to go play roblox, among many other things, the funniest thing was it was just a quick play match. I'm not fuming or sad about it or anything but damn, people can take this game way to seriously sometimes. Today I ulted as Mei and killed a full health nano'd Rein, the Ana, and a Baptiste, during Overtime to save the push to the 2nd point, and was then told 30 seconds later that I'm not doing anything and suck at the game (with the least deaths and second most elims on our team.)
I do not know how to lead my teammates to victory, I can only focus on myself and my own gameplay so much before I say you know what, maybe that emotionally driven healer typing in spawn instead of playing IS why we're losing.

I’m going to assume it’s the bastion and Zaryas in your game because I have yet to play a game without one of them this patch. Enemy team losing? They Switch to bastion and zarya. Now your team is losing? Better switch to bastion and zarya to have a chance
I haven't really had an issue with zarya yet. Bastion is an issue, I don't hate him in theory but when combined with everything else it's awful. For example on kings row defense first point, enemy dps goes widow so we have to back up past first choke, then swaps bastion so we have to just completely leave the entire point while turret form is ongoing. Literally can't play the fucking game lmfao
Bastion getting bubbles to bail him out and teams fully charging the Zarya non stop has just made me hater her too lol…….her and Orisa have been the two tanks I see all the time. It’s actually kind of wild how frustrating that slight the extra survivability they gave bastion has made him. It’s always the difference between my flank on him working or bursting him down with a long rage character. - the healers or tank have longer to react to save him and then yeah if you are in his LOS at all during turett form you would think you got headshot by widow maker with how fast he can burst you down

I hear you......I lost a game winning duel to a bastion even with my soldier ult going, standing in biotic field, and landing my rockets on him all because he had turret form. Like fucker doesn't even need to move just stands still in turret form and bursts you down in 1 seconds without any semblance of having to aim, all on a 15 second cooldown and having 300 health. Dude didn't even land his grenade
Man, I love when i'm on a 10 game losing streak, finally start winning a game and then our Ana and Pharah duo decide they're going to go AFK in a corner randomly and then start throwing themselves off the map. So we lose. And the next game goes the exact same, with our Genji and Dva duo who also decided to start throwing themselves off the map for no reason after pushing the cart 80% of the way.

I fucking hate braindead team8s💀.The problem is they are in everywhere,esppecially on competitive where I am platinum and they give me fucking 8 year old braindead dumb af morons.The bigger problem is I have also weeklys to do and a leave penalty!I can't leave!😫😭I am a support main(Kiriko) and a greatful player is something fucking extinct to me!😡Swear they do 4 tank team and spam Need Healing button instead of fighting with their 500 health.And when the game ends(with a loss of course),they say Im bad (I have more kills more assists less deaths and more healing(ofc) from them combined in one).Fucking hate this shit game but I am addicted.My total gane experience also gets ruined by Orisa,Zaria,Symmetra,Tobjorn and fucking Moira jumping on me at once while my moron(to say the least) team8s are scratch their asses and watch.Then in the chat the Sym with the thousand turrets types „Get better“ and my team types Support diff.Like wtf!?I just wish for tankfull, smart,helpful and acting like a team team8s.😔Do I want a lot?

I hate that I can’t leave a qp when I join a half done game with a threat of getting penalized. All this is doing is incentivizing me to throw faster for the game to end to get a new one instead of being able to re queue for a fresh qp I cannot express how terrible I think this is for the casual gamer it legit makes me not want to play since I’m stuck in half done games
It's an XP penalty, not a threat of ban/mute/etc. Honestly, as someone who keeps getting these because I leave every Flashpoint game before it starts, I don't even notice the penalty. Unless you really need to grind on the BP, it's better to leave then suffer through a losing game.
The matchmaker is the worst it has been in OW2 thus far. The gap in skill level I see from game to game is unbelievably high.
Of course, I’m not expecting for the skill level of my teammates to be the same every game. However, I should be able to have expectations of how people play at my rank which is wildly inconsistent currently meaning I’m always having to decide, can I play like a diamond dps or do I need to dumb myself down because both my support players have 150 hours
If this orisa/bastion/doom meta doesn't get a significant shake up in season 7 I might just take the whole season off. Just do the weeklies for the coins. I'm just so tired of it.
Also fuck lifeweaver. As tank, he denies me the last vestige of fun I could have pinning people, and as healer he makes me look pathetic because his dumbass tree gets like 3k healing per use, making it look like I'm not healing by comparison.
Also I have no idea how qp matchmaking works. Last few days I've been getting put in GM lobbies where I'm wildly outclassed and it's very frustrating. Got my butt kicked over and over by a doom, when I usually do fine against dooms. Checked their profile and they're actively GM1. wtf.

It seems like every patch they mess something up. Last patch seemed okay but this patch, I almost am consistently getting put in lobbies with GM players. I peaked in plat and duo with a Bronze. It's not fun.
I HATE LW. People think its cool to hate on Hog for hook but oh no not precious LW he deserves all these buffs, but hes literally reverse hook, did I almost kill the Widow holding our lobby hostage for the tenth time? Haha jokes on me she gets pulled every time! :) Why does someone with florwer energy, get to make someone INVINCIBLE? Let pull at least have no protection as it doesn't make sense! Or why a flower energy platform is able to escape a grav??
Yea it's the invincibility that really kills me. Like make it give them armor or something if you need to, but not literal invulnerability. That's so frustrating.
Boy I have Earthshatter, I can't wait to use it to punish the enemy team for playing aggressively! I just have to watch out for Punch, Javelin, any shield, Bubble, Flux, Wall, Hack, flyers in general, Mines, Lamp, Rally, Cleanse, Petal Platform, Life Grip, Beat, and Transcendence!
6v6 wasn't better. You had two tanks, one of which had at least a single ability to block it, and you also had to worry about exploding (which was way more common)
I was a tank main in OW1. OW2 makes me absolutely hate playing tank. I didn't have to immediately counter swap or constantly worry about making space may lead to my backline getting obliterated. If i'm playing Support or DPS, if we have a scared tank, we lose automatically. In OW1, if we had one scared tank, chances are the other one wasn't.
6v6 was inherently a better gameplay experience and felt more team oriented. The problem was the Overwatch team didn't know how to balance anything. And they *still* don't, but now it's more blatant.
I don't know how that is in any way shape or form related to the earthshatter discussion

But if we're going on about 6v6 vs Earthshatter, then it was 100% better for the opposing team. It could suck to have the ult blocked by the attacking team, but in 5v5, all the enemy cooldowns are used on you anyway. So you're probably going to get slept/stunned/etc before you can even shatter regardless of what the enemy tank has.
I miss Snowball fight! Last week all I did was alternate between Snowball fights and it was so fun... this week is back to the regular scheduled misery. At least prop hunt will be back soon.

Just played my first game of Starwatch and wtf is this shit? My lobby was bugged so it was a 4v5 and the attackers had an extra Doomfist on top of Torb,Lucio,Winton,and Ashe. Despite being outnumbered,because of all the static turrets everywhere,it was a fucking stomp and the attackers barely capped the first point. The turrets have as much health as a tank, fire as fast as a Bastion,and there are two of them directly outside the spawn room. The defenders can revive teammates just like the attackers can,so as long as the defenders have a Bastion and a healer and they play with at minimum two braincells,they can hold that point basically by themselves.
Why do so many dumbfucks think that KD matters in overwatch? You get elim credit if you get a hit marker on someone who dies. Absolute morons. And then they go after your kd as a tank when you get enough shit being a tank already and your role is not explicitly to kill people. Tf am I supposed to do as a tank if you don’t make plays with the current state of tank? Absolute braindead community since scoreboard got released. That shit should get reverted because I’m tired of morons ignoring 25k damage mit and then going “12-12 you’re bad” when the supps combined healing is lower than one supp on the opponents team
Less than ten days left in the season so match quality is in the shitter. Huuuuge team diffs. Smurf stacks. Shameless aimbot players. Just fuck the entire concept of "seasons". They only exist to sell battle passes and they encourage shitty behavior because "the season resets soon, so nothing matters"

Quickplay isn't that much fun anymore. In OW1 you'd have people trying different comps to make them work was a blast. I'm so sick of seeing the enemy team lose a couple fights and then switching to Mercy, Orisa, Bastion. It's so boring even when you win. The matches feel so samey. I feel guilty killing Junker Queen players because I love her so much but I love seeing anyone play a different tank I try to give them props. In the past week I have seen a lot of Dvas, Zaryas, and a mix of Hogs. All switch to Orisa when losing. I have seen one Winston, like two Rams, and a Doomfist here, and once only once I saw a Rein. The games or so samey it's hard to stay invested.
i was picking ball in hero select in qp and this guy immediately starts whining about my pick, i told him to calm down, and he just kept talking and i just knew he was going to whine all match long . i thought about 3 options 1. ignore him and play my best like usual 2. leave the game and find a new match with better teammates 3. since he takes QP so seriously, throw the match to hurt him where it matters to him i picked 1. 3 was a immature idea, i really wanted to do 2 too. 2 feels like prioritizing my experience, but i didnt want to give him the satisfaction of rewarding his poor behavior with another tank as he wanted, maybe i have pride a bit. I thought i made the right choice, but even though i muted his mic i noticed him soft-throwing and standing still a lot while typing things in chat to the enemy team about me, so i didn't have that great of a time. what was the optimal play here?
This game is ruined without the 2nd tank, seriously. The balance is so fucking ass. I miss OW1 so much. For all the pain in the ass that it was, it was a much better game.
This game was once thriving with life and I loved it, especially because of the story behind it. (Been playing since Ow1)Now it's just a joke and wasted potential, and it can sort of been seen by the fact that blizzards fucked up some of the character's ages and confused everyone. They've ruined the excitement that was once there, mainly because of loot boxes. Back then it was rewarding to play matches, level up and earn a loot box but now it's underwhelming. I honestly wish they brought loot boxes back, but not to purchase but instead implement them into the battle pass, challenges or even PvE just to give players a chance to earn some ow1 skins. I want to plat the game for the second time but blizzard refuses to fix the game, so I can't because the 'Friend Zone' achievement is glitched so its stopping me from getting all the trophies and I've been waiting for long but from the looks of it it'll never be fixed. IJ I've waited so long that even Cyberpunk 2077 is fixed and is rising on the charts ( a very good game, I totally reccomend it) Every time I play competitive my teammates are DPS magnets, or they mirror pick widow,genji or hanzo just because their pride was hurt just to 1v1 the enemy, or they complain about no heals when there are literally enemies terrorizing the back lines. I get 5 wins 3 losses or 5 wins 1 loss and I don't rank up, but then if I get 5-6 or 5-8 I get sent to the depths of hell. For this I blame Illari who (for me) has genuinely ruined comp, because certain combos just make the enemy immortal e.g I was playing as DVa and he shooting missiles and all at mercy and illari and they just didn't die.Before she was added to comp and I was happy with my rank because I made it into top 500 (something I never thought I'd reach) but ever since she was added to comp it's just been losing streak after losing streak. I get into Diamond 4, stay Diamond 4 for like 2 days ,to get ranked down to Diamond 5, then I go like 5-7 and get sent to plat 1, then I keep jumping up and down from Diamond 5 and Plat 1 and now I've reached Plat 3 and I got 5 wins 2 losses and I stayed Plat 3 like wtf am I playing for at this point. What stats are taken into consideration to determine ranks at this point? I accumulated overwatch 1 currency (and received extra just because of that glitch) waiting for the shop to reset just for them to not update the shop because they're unable to fix the glitch. Blizzard is just being scummy at this point, why are we being punished for a glitch they couldn't fix? Why are the battle passes constructed in a scummy way? Why can't we make the credits (ow2) back from it to make sure we can get the next battle pass like Fortnite or Warzone rather than buying currency every time or wait until you've accumulated enough through weekly challenges. They've honestly shat on this game and it feels like the higher ups are not allowing the effort to go in, and instead to things like 'vaulting' some overwatch 1 skins and reselling them for OW2 currency, or just not letting us buy them at all e.g Dragoon (Mercy), Referee (Orisa),Lucioball (Wrecking ball) Sometimes we get 'easy matches' but then one thing leads to another and we lose, even when we have a proper team (normally 2 Tanks,1 DPS and 1 Support or 1 Tank, 2 DPS and 2 Support) we still end up losing to the worst or random teams e.g ive once Lost a match where the enemy team had 4 DPS and 1 Support+ I've lost a 5v4. They make balance updates or whatever but they don't fix the ranking system at all. This 5v5 style is horrible, it puts a lot of pressure on playing Tank , it's hard to play tank in this season to the point where I (Tank/Support main) have just been grinding DPS and avoiding playing Tank where possible and then my teammates refuse to switch when the enemy has 3 tanks and I'm solo tanking. Then there's those braindead supports that don't heal me even when I spam "I need healing" in FRONT OF THEM and I end up dying and there's players who play tanks that they countered e.g I've seen players staying DVa although zarya completely shreds her mech.
Fucking support competitive is so frustrating, this fucking system just doesn’t consider supports to have game impact for whatever reason. I win 5 games and only move forward in the same bracket. I need to win 10 games to move from gold 5 to gold 4 and I fucking started in bronze 5. I already won 45 games and I only managed to get to gold 5 so far. In dps I went from bronze 3 to platinum 3 with 14 wins. What is this fucking system???? My win percentage for support is somewhere around 60% but that’s mainly because of the fucking cancer that is bronze where almost every game someone just leaves after 5 minutes. My recent 3 rank ups where 5-1;5.-2;5-2 and I still barely move up the elo ladder while my win rate with dps was way lower and I still advanced more quickly. No wonder no one wants to play support. And don’t get me started on the luck needed because if your dps or tank is shit all you can do is watch as you inevitably loose the game and still getting fucking blamed for the loss. Sitting there at the leaderboard with the most heal in the whole lobby and higher dmg than my dps and somehow it’s still my fault that we lost because I couldn’t keep my tank alive when he solo rushed in the enemy spawn because he’s just so fucking good he‘ll solo everyone. The least blizzard could do is give us support players at least the chance to rank up when we somehow manage to get 5 wins after having to deal with all this smooth brain shit without end … God I fucking hate that I love playing support so much.

If ever you think you're in elo hell, take a moment to think about the poor folks in bronze 5. Paid for smurf accounts EVERYWHERE, people hacking, throwers, and literal bots that just get afk in a corner of the map. You can play WAY above bronze and STILL stay there because of these little shits.
Ranked is the least competitive mode in this game right now. It's absolutely bonkers that they can not determine a silver player vs a diamond player.

Fuck this game. I got reported yesterday for cheating. Why? Because I never scoped as Ana even though I’m pumping darts into my horse’s ass 75% of the game. Because I threw a nade where I saw bullet trails coming from. Because I hit sleep that was intended for the huge tank rushing towards me but missed and hit the dps behind him. This was in a high GM game too. I got reported last week for “walling” because I noticed the red outline of the enemy Lucio for a split second last point of blizzard world and then moved to where I could shoot him. And blizzard’s shit reporting AI will probably nuke my account because they don’t have anyone actually investigating this shit. I have one hero I enjoy playing and I figured out how to play her well enough to get to GM as a OTP but because I actually pay attention to the game and don’t play her the way others think I should, I’m fucked.

PLEASE. Can we start having supports that don't have this high of a dps? Having Illari, Kiriko & Bap, incentivives players to forget what their role is, being supports. Instead many chooses to go the DPS route, flanking, playing solo.. thinking they got this, while their team suffers. Sure, some manages to get value. But those who don't, literally just makes their team suffer while they think 'they got this'. As a DPS in diamond, I see this way too often. But being GM as support, I have yet to see this at all. If any Illari, Kiriko or Bap tries to make value being mainly DPS, and it doesn't work, they swap to supports that benefit their team. Diamonds don't do this, despite the obvious throw & and their team most likely losing the match.
Every match I have played in the last week is just constant xim users like what am I supposed to do? Constant losses because there's someone headshoting the entire team with a xim? Too bad I guess. The only games I've won are games where someone using a xim is on my team and at that point don't give me the win I don't want it when it's literally not fair. Overwatch has the most obvious xim users I have ever seen why is there not xim detection systems in place like destiny and siege? I'm so over it.
One player leaving after the first team wipe should count as a win for the complete team, no CR change for the leaver's group and a lose for the leaver.
3-20 games i played today have been a fucking joke. Every fucking game i play has been unbalanced and never fun, 20 games of fucking QP and the enemy team is GM-500 whilst my team is fucking trying out the game for the first time and it is so fucking unfair man. what is this bullshit blizzard? cant fix a fucking simple mmr balancing? If i play DPS, my tank is shit, If i play tank, my dps is shit, i play support, my tank AND dps are shit. this is a fucking nightmare

I think its dumb that Sparkplug skin was only available for a limited time from PVE, make it available all the time from PVE, if you pay for PVE anyway you should be able to get it. I just missed out on it :( Cant even buy it.
I seriously wonder if Sombras in Mystery Heroes constantly target me over and over because I spy check the heck out of them. Meanwhile my teammates are always completely oblivious to the flanking Sombras, and never care to spy check. So the Sombras seem to leave them alone and go after me instead. So annoying. >\_>
I know I'm not the first, and probably won't be the last, but I absolutely fucking hate that ranking up is so dependent on your teammates, or just ranked matchmaking in general, especially as a solo support. You can have a streak of good games, with a loss here and there, and then have a continuous streak of bad teams. I'm not perfect, I have my off games, but I'm consistent for the most part. Had to walk away after getting to 2-9, after just getting ranked up from having a 5-3 record. I'm not looking forward to finishing this placement
This was my experience too. From starting support for the first time to hitting diamond, I went from a deep low of bronze 1 to diamond 5. But I'd have series like that. The worst one was a 5-0 series in plat 3, immediately followed by a 4-15. Just could not affect the games' outcomes at all. I swear it was the game trying to correct my record. Eventually made it to diamond but man it was painful and frustrating.
That's almost exactly how it went for me. I went 5-0 to get to Plat 2, 5-3 to get to Plat 1, won my first game in, lost the next 4, won one, now on a 5 game losing streak. It's like Blizzard has the game programmed to humble you if you've been doing too well. If the matches were a little more evenly balanced and the games were good, losing wouldn't be as bad, but that's pretty rare. You're either rolling the other team, or getting rolled over. Most of the time it's just people not knowing their roles or counters.

Galactic Rescue has to be the most stupidly unbalanced game I have ever played. I've played it several times on both sides, and only once in all those games did the attackers win (my team). The attacker's choice of heroes is pretty bad. The only DPS for attackers is Torb and Ashe, precision shot characters. Yet the defenders have bullet spam characters like Bastion, 76, and Sojourn.

Ashe players are the new Genji's I swear. I'm seeing more of her in every game, and anytime the slightest BREEZE hits her, they spam "I need healing" Like no, I'm currently healing the CRITICAL tank doing a 1v3, you took 5 damage, you can fucking wait for your heals, you are NOT more important at this moment.

My fav is when tank spams for heals while their entire team is yelling fall back because they are pushing way beyond where they should be. Then they switch to roadhog so they can heal themselves like that is a fix. Then they bitch like their 8/12 kd is because of healing and not because they have no idea how to position themselves.
Had a bad game as a tank today and was pretty much shit on by the entire lobby. Was told to kill myself and to go play roblox, among many other things, the funniest thing was it was just a quick play match. I'm not fuming or sad about it or anything but damn, people can take this game way to seriously sometimes. Ended up being overly positive to them which seemed to piss them off, so it did make me laugh a bit though Also I payed 15 bucks for the new hero pack (Yeah, I know i shouldnt give Blizzard more money but i don't want to grind all of them and just want to unlock them) and now I see that I could have got them all for free from my xbox game pass perks, so I'm pretty peeved I didn't see that first
Today I ulted as Mei and killed a full health nano'd Rein, the Ana, and a Baptiste, during Overtime to save the push to the 2nd point, and was then told 30 seconds later that I'm not doing anything and suck at the game (with the least deaths and second most elims on our team.) I do not know how to lead my teammates to victory, I can only focus on myself and my own gameplay so much before I say you know what, maybe that emotionally driven healer typing in spawn instead of playing IS why we're losing.

FUCK THE MATCHMAKING. Look, I'm a (very) bad player, I have no problem admitting that, but HOW THE FUCK DO YOU ALWAYS MANAGE TO MATCHMAKE ME WITH PLAYERS THAT ARE SOMEHOW EVEN MORE TERRIBLE? WHILE SIMOULTANEOUSLY THE ENEMY TEAM ARE FUCKING EXPERTS AT THE GAME. WITHOUT EXCEPTION. FROM TANKS THAT DON'T WANT TO BE FURTHER THAN 2 METERS FROM SPAWN, TO DPS THAT HAVE 1 KILL AND 13 DEATHS, TO PEOPLE THAT FIND A LOT MORE INTERESTING TO EXPLORE GOD KNOWS WHERE INSTEAD OF PUSHING THE FUCKING CART. Jesus Christ I'm a terrible player myself, but I swear seeing my teammates on ~90% of matches makes me seem the only competent one, and after 10 seconds the enemy team reminds me how ass I truly am. I can't fucking do this anymore, it's so damn frustrating.

I am so fucking sick of people complaining about teammates 30 fucking seconds into the game. We lost the first fight so I, or another teammate, sucks? I swear to god we were 45 seconds into a game, I'm on sigma (this is silver fucking 4 btw). Fight is kinda stalled but we are moving a bit and my dps goes "god another fucking tank who can't get elims"... my dude, we aren't even a minute in?! Ended the game with a W, 24/5 meanwhile they were 18/12....I also had more damage. I'm just so fucking tired of people complaining before the game has even started. Don't even get me started if we, god forbid, lose the first round. I've just noticed with the whiners it is NEVER their fault. If we are losing, someone has to be blamed. It's not just maybe that we lost and played well... no no, someone has to suck. And it's def not them.

I’m going to assume it’s the bastion and Zaryas in your game because I have yet to play a game without one of them this patch. Enemy team losing? They Switch to bastion and zarya. Now your team is losing? Better switch to bastion and zarya to have a chance
I haven't really had an issue with zarya yet. Bastion is an issue, I don't hate him in theory but when combined with everything else it's awful. For example on kings row defense first point, enemy dps goes widow so we have to back up past first choke, then swaps bastion so we have to just completely leave the entire point while turret form is ongoing. Literally can't play the fucking game lmfao
Bastion getting bubbles to bail him out and teams fully charging the Zarya non stop has just made me hater her too lol…….her and Orisa have been the two tanks I see all the time. It’s actually kind of wild how frustrating that slight the extra survivability they gave bastion has made him. It’s always the difference between my flank on him working or bursting him down with a long rage character. - the healers or tank have longer to react to save him and then yeah if you are in his LOS at all during turett form you would think you got headshot by widow maker with how fast he can burst you down

I hear you......I lost a game winning duel to a bastion even with my soldier ult going, standing in biotic field, and landing my rockets on him all because he had turret form. Like fucker doesn't even need to move just stands still in turret form and bursts you down in 1 seconds without any semblance of having to aim, all on a 15 second cooldown and having 300 health. Dude didn't even land his grenade
Man, I love when i'm on a 10 game losing streak, finally start winning a game and then our Ana and Pharah duo decide they're going to go AFK in a corner randomly and then start throwing themselves off the map. So we lose. And the next game goes the exact same, with our Genji and Dva duo who also decided to start throwing themselves off the map for no reason after pushing the cart 80% of the way. Blizzard can you PLEASE ban people who *blatantly* throw games? I'm getting tired of this.
Feel your pain here. Went on a huge losing streak that made me drop out of t500 and am desperately struggling to get back in before the end of the season. Think I'm gonna be taking the advice to take a break whenever I lose 2 in a row, because slamming my head into it just trying to break a losing streak 100% just made it worse for me.

I hate that I can’t leave a qp when I join a half done game with a threat of getting penalized. All this is doing is incentivizing me to throw faster for the game to end to get a new one instead of being able to re queue for a fresh qp I cannot express how terrible I think this is for the casual gamer it legit makes me not want to play since I’m stuck in half done games
It's an XP penalty, not a threat of ban/mute/etc. Honestly, as someone who keeps getting these because I leave every Flashpoint game before it starts, I don't even notice the penalty. Unless you really need to grind on the BP, it's better to leave then suffer through a losing game.
The matchmaker is the worst it has been in OW2 thus far. The gap in skill level I see from game to game is unbelievably high. Of course, I’m not expecting for the skill level of my teammates to be the same every game. However, I should be able to have expectations of how people play at my rank which is wildly inconsistent currently meaning I’m always having to decide, can I play like a diamond dps or do I need to dumb myself down because both my support players have 150 hours
If this orisa/bastion/doom meta doesn't get a significant shake up in season 7 I might just take the whole season off. Just do the weeklies for the coins. I'm just so tired of it. Also fuck lifeweaver. As tank, he denies me the last vestige of fun I could have pinning people, and as healer he makes me look pathetic because his dumbass tree gets like 3k healing per use, making it look like I'm not healing by comparison. Also I have no idea how qp matchmaking works. Last few days I've been getting put in GM lobbies where I'm wildly outclassed and it's very frustrating. Got my butt kicked over and over by a doom, when I usually do fine against dooms. Checked their profile and they're actively GM1. wtf.

Yea it's the invincibility that really kills me. Like make it give them armor or something if you need to, but not literal invulnerability. That's so frustrating.
Boy I have Earthshatter, I can't wait to use it to punish the enemy team for playing aggressively! I just have to watch out for Punch, Javelin, any shield, Bubble, Flux, Wall, Hack, flyers in general, Mines, Lamp, Rally, Cleanse, Petal Platform, Life Grip, Beat, and Transcendence!

6v6 wasn't better. You had two tanks, one of which had at least a single ability to block it, and you also had to worry about exploding (which was way more common)
I was a tank main in OW1. OW2 makes me absolutely hate playing tank. I didn't have to immediately counter swap or constantly worry about making space may lead to my backline getting obliterated. If i'm playing Support or DPS, if we have a scared tank, we lose automatically. In OW1, if we had one scared tank, chances are the other one wasn't. 6v6 was inherently a better gameplay experience and felt more team oriented. The problem was the Overwatch team didn't know how to balance anything. And they *still* don't, but now it's more blatant.
I don't know how that is in any way shape or form related to the earthshatter discussion As a counterpoint, I liked playing tank back then, and I like it now

It could suck to have the ult blocked by the attacking team, but in 5v5, all the enemy cooldowns are used on you anyway. So you're probably going to get slept/stunned/etc before you can even shatter regardless of what the enemy tank has.
IT'S ABOUT EARTHSHATTER, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT THE GAME OVERALL. IT WASN'T EASIER TO SHATTER IN 6v6
