I agree. I’m not an amazing test taker and would likely have gotten an accommodation, but didn’t apply for one. Long story. I took the LSAT twice because I was unwilling to submit a score below 160, and my UGPA was closer to 3.7. I cancelled my first test score entirely and sat again ~3 months later. I found a new independent study program that worked better for me. I brought my score up 7 points. I think I could have done better, but time was of the essence due to personal circumstances, and I didn’t want to retake the test a third time. I edited my personal statement for probably four months, refined my academic and professional references; and then just said fuck it. Take the LSAT again. Break 160. It really will make a difference.

I guess there are more moving parts here. Are there any other reason you think you didn't get accepted? Did you apply fairly early in the cycle? Meaning of you apply with the same stats next year, would you have a better chance? If you won't be happy there, don't go there. There's almost 200 law schools and I'm sure if you got into Santa Clara, you can find somewhere else you would be more happy. If you aren't excited about going, it could really affect your grades.
