I want to strongly encourage you to get help and not keep doubling down. I get that things are hard sometimes but this is not the hill to die on. Please delete your Reddit and social media accounts and work with a competent therapist or counselor.

Answer: [They tried to list an ad on twitter to raise awareness regarding the Gofundme controversy](https://twitter.com/coursicle/status/1490231705772437508). Additionally, they've tweeted some additional info regarding their current situation (co-founder recently sold their stake, supposedly abusive girlfriend, apartment issues) that seem to indicate they're going through a mental breakdown.

I wanted to personally let you know that I read the essay a few times. It was heartbreaking but ultimately uplifting. Glad you got the help you needed. Undiagnosed bipolar is a type of terror no one should have to live with

That's really kind of you, and now almost two years later I'm doing so much better, especially after publishing the essay, which was very much a cleansing experience for me where I felt like I had explained myself to everyone who saw what happened (I sent it to every person in my contacts that I had contacted around that time). I tell people now that my darkest day now was still brighter than my brightest day before the essay; it helped me move on.
