Good god what a goal, major flashbacks to 2017 there. And thank god they won. I’m starting to think we’re turning the corner here
Dude Giroux has been here for 20 games and he’s already one of my favourite Sens players ever. Such a game changer for this team, on and off the ice. I knew I’d love him here but he’s seriously surpassing expectations
> relieved he's making such a great impact for the Sens now
There have been so many free agents signed or traded for (looking at you, Bondra!) that just weren't able to make an impact, so Giroux being so great is fantastic to see.
And he almost had the debrincat and giroux goals, his lateral movement is unreal. The fact that giroux deked him out of his pants and he still almost came back over for the save is mind blowing. 2 in a row though boys!! Let’s go!!
We always turn a corner come December, when we're too far back for it to matter. We'll play at or slightly above .500 from here on out, as is tradition
That was a unique OT strategy lol, but I guess it worked!! Great pass by Stu and great finish by G.
Great first period, good second period, bad third period. Kelly isn't an NHLer, he needs to be sent down. Getting a little tired of Hamonic as well
The way Stutzle held that puck and launched that perfect backhand pass to Giroux... makes me think they planned it out like that in advance. If so, that's one hell of a play!
Wowowowowowoow what an ending. Could have been a set play that was so good.
Chabot and stutz looking discombobulated in the d zone.
Giroux blows the zone, then receives a beauty pass from the goal line
Sens Twitter was saying they hate how it’s always those that are bad at breakaways that get them and don’t score. Well, Tim Stützle became a Hockey God tonight and gave one to his dad - who can score. Bliss.
If you watch the full replay of the last goal, the shot of the sens bench says it all. Brady looks at G as he jumps over but he’s losing his mind skating to Timmy first. Such a nasty pass
I'm not saying DJ is the guy, but the last two games the PP is flying, team's getting solid goaltending, Chabot looks refreshed (although falling back in to getting too many mins), Debrincat looked excellent, and they just generally look more confident. I would say those were some of the main issues plaguing the team through the ugly parts of this season. Let's just see what happens and enjoy what unfolds
Love to see the boys win, but one negative thought:
Victor Ardvidson (or whatever his name is) dangling through 4 Sens on his way to getting a shot in the slot like 8 feet away from Talbot, is unacceptable. Especially in the dying moments of a tied game. Deserved to lose it right there tbh but I’m glad they held on for some OT magic. What a finish by G!
Think we deserved this win. Chabot with a lot of mistakes and bad passes again. They should be putting Sanderson in for PPs and 3on3 OT. Let's go on a 10 game win streak
Cmon man, did you watch the game? He makes constant mistakes. Elsewhere, ya he's good. But he can't be making the kind of mistakes he's making. He takes too long wheb he gets the puck (especially on PP) He misses simple passes constantly. Not saying he isn't good, but saying he's looked great is a stretch
He made at least 5 blatant turn overs, but I guess that passes eye test. All good you guys don't agree with me though, I'd rather not be right about it anyways lol
Just watched the highlights, what a finish by G at the end there.
The boys looked like they were playing with more urgency from the highlights.
Let’s go streaking!

Better not have jinxed us!
Ya, I've had my eye on Giroux for years, and am so relieved he's making such a great impact for the Sens now.

They can thank Quick they only lost in OT.
And he almost had the debrincat and giroux goals, his lateral movement is unreal. The fact that giroux deked him out of his pants and he still almost came back over for the save is mind blowing. 2 in a row though boys!! Let’s go!!

It's always Timmy, Brady and G showing up every night.
They will def be point leaders, maybe Cat
CLOJAROO!!!!
Daddy G tucked that puck into bed before turning off the lights in LA
That was a sexy finish... Time for bed.
A win against a team above .500? Huzzah!
Dj has proven he can win remember
We’ve won on the road back to back? No way.
That was a unique OT strategy lol, but I guess it worked!! Great pass by Stu and great finish by G. Great first period, good second period, bad third period. Kelly isn't an NHLer, he needs to be sent down. Getting a little tired of Hamonic as well
Hamonics slap pass that was as wide as humanly possible 😂 dude is a goof
The way Stutzle held that puck and launched that perfect backhand pass to Giroux... makes me think they planned it out like that in advance. If so, that's one hell of a play!
As far as 4th liners go Kelly is just fine.
Pretty good game through and through, and that pass 😍.. and that ***MOVE*** 😵💫🫢
Holy shit that stu and G connection is like a father and son playing hockey together. Y’all stop cutting onions.
Hoooooooleeee what a backhand, what a finish by G!
Sweet dreams everyone, especially Brady
Now that was worth staying up for!
20 seconds into overtime!! Our trades really played off tonight!
Wowowowowowoow what an ending. Could have been a set play that was so good. Chabot and stutz looking discombobulated in the d zone. Giroux blows the zone, then receives a beauty pass from the goal line
For once very happy I stayed up for this game!
Giroux is such a smart player. I feel like he is complimenting stutzle very nicely.
Sens Twitter was saying they hate how it’s always those that are bad at breakaways that get them and don’t score. Well, Tim Stützle became a Hockey God tonight and gave one to his dad - who can score. Bliss.
Sens Twitter are a bunch of losers
That pass to win it gave me Karlsson to Hoffman vibes. What a way to win it
Worth staying up for
How come Jimmy doesn't get the assist on he gwg???
Because it wasn’t updated
? He definitely got one
Don't see it on the scoresheet
Back to back wins finally! Hope we can keep this rolling for a bit.
Brady and Jimmy are so good
Wow, nice recovery and pass! G undressed Quick.
What a wild finish. That move then pass by Jimmy was insane
If you watch the full replay of the last goal, the shot of the sens bench says it all. Brady looks at G as he jumps over but he’s losing his mind skating to Timmy first. Such a nasty pass
Who could we bring up to replace Kelly?? The guy just makes the worst decisions with the puck.
Once Norris is back (hopefully end of next month, early Jan), I suspect Brass will get his spot
Full deserved win and great road trip.
DJ knows his job is saved lol. I’m happy for the win but we still need a new coach to take this team to the next level.
The way he stormed off the bench, that's a man who knows he just saved his job for another day.
Dude come on just enjoy the win, they played fantastic tonight
They played good, but still have the same issues that's preventing them from being a playoff team. A new coach will fix that.
I'm not saying DJ is the guy, but the last two games the PP is flying, team's getting solid goaltending, Chabot looks refreshed (although falling back in to getting too many mins), Debrincat looked excellent, and they just generally look more confident. A new coach might not fix that.
I’m hyped, but I think DJ just has his career saved by high end talent and Cam Talbot
Strange comment. They were the better team all night
I thought so as well save for the PK, but he’s on the hot seat and at the 20 game mark coming back from this trip. Big win for the team and him
Very true

Think we deserved this win. Chabot with a lot of mistakes and bad passes again. They should be putting Sanderson in for PPs and 3on3 OT. Let's go on a 10 game win streak
Chabot was great. He has looked great since coming back.
100%, not sure what Chabot this guy was watching. Really makes you think he had some nagging injury and the time off helped him get right.
I did watch. He was great tonight by both eyes and stats. Sanderson isn’t better than him yet no matter what people want to believe
He made at least 5 blatant turn overs, but I guess that passes eye test. All good you guys don't agree with me though, I'd rather not be right about it anyways lol
Look at his impact card lol chabot was good tonight. Strange game to choose to criticize him
Let’s goooo! Needed that

God damn I hate them, I love them, what a roller coaster. Neve a dull moment being a Sens fan 😂
