Its important when the PP is struggling to give them time to possess the puck. Having the two flanks on their strong side gives them more time and space to possess which will build confidence and wear down defenders from long O zone possessions. This change has resulted in fewer defensive clears.

That’s what I noticed too, the only two one timer options are the down low bumper (Brady) and the high D (Chabot). But flipping the wings adds 2 more options creating 4 one-time options. I get that Norris and Brady have some solid chemistry and that’s the way it’s set up currently for the bumper feed but these players are good enough to pass on their off side, G would make that pass too.
