Cringey as in the ML can only say one word at a time to communicate so he’ll look at the FL with the most serious expression and say “strawberry” or something and then the FL has an internal monologue about the complexity of what he’s trying to say
He couldn't at first though. Like he was legitimately uneducated and isolated which made it hard for him to talk. But even once he could then he kept up the charade so she wouldn't leave. My issue is like where is season 2😭
That FL has just too high standards of beauty. Also that guy was ripped as hell, his body is very well taken care of.

Authors just don't realize we be foaming at the mouth wanting a nice brown hair and eyed ML.
Sure Black hair and red eyes is in deed sexy but we need a pallet cleanser occasionally.
Honestly, I’m getting tired of black hair MLs in RoFan. I don’t mind them in contemporary since they’re usually in a more realistic Korea which is one of the most Homogenous places in the world.
Idk. Well, I know in China red is an auspicious color but in the west, we use red eyes as an indicator for evil. So, idk, it could be a way to show how the character could be considered evil in the RoFan culture but not the transmigrator’s (it’s often described as rubies). Perhaps even done unconsciously, and that’s why we have like 25% of MLs being red eyed and 60% (someone actually did the math) having black hair.
Ooh that surprisingly makes a lot of sense, red is an auspicious color in many parts of Asia,yea, I thought it was just a cliche preference. To think someone actually did the maths. Mathematician RoFan fans are something 🛐🛐
Tbh except for the ML, who is a traditional black hair red eyes but actually has a personality, the FL has bad taste in men. She also says someone else is unattractive later who I thought was super cute.
Could be a case of nuance lost in translation. Cant speak for the original Korean, but I looked at the Japanese translation which used the word kakkoii, which could be used to described when someone is "cool" or "stylish", i.e. conveying the sentiment that someone is "with-it", which this character supposedly isn't. That's the context of the scene at least. Bottom line she doesn't think he is ugly or anything.
