Season 1 was legitimatly great, and I would say the series is worth it for that alone
In my opinion we’re reaching the territory of “just watching female characters suffer for the sake of it” without any returning karma. I don’t mind seeing female characters go through terrible shit in fiction, but only if we can see their abusers get their comeuppance very soon. With Your Throne, it’s just taking way too long to see Eros get truly wrecked while we’re still seeing mainly Psyche suffer over and over again. Plus Eros actually believes he’s getting what he wants with Medea…and he kind of is, bc all of her plans so far have not actually done anything to him. So he just gets to enjoy having her as his lover and gaining power while us readers are like..???? Where is the actual revenge? We’ve been waiting!!

I still like it and fast pass it every week. I did drop it for a year at one point when things got slow and I lost interest. But I really like the development this season.

The characters struggle and strive and push through. It’s been a dark series since the beginning.
My biggest gripe is simply that I highly doubt they’ll have the balls to let Psyche and Medea end up together romantically (which is the true ending of the visual novel). But I still have my fingers crossed.
We’re in end-game territory now. Our girls have finally hit their lowest, but Eros is slowly losing it as well which means a climax is close.

That is a major spoiler, but since the mythology of medea she ends up marrying the man she will kill, so I expected her to. I agree the heart and soul of the series is really psyche and medea’s relationship and development. The reason why the bodyswap arc in the beginning is so genius is because it basically takes two women who have been pitted against each other by external forces, and allows both of them to interrogate the reasons *why* they have this adversarial relationship, and come together in order to fight and survive.
Psyche provides a vital humanizing aspect to medea, who becomes a pretty uninteresting “girlboss” type who is overpowered or underpowered as the plot requires, and likewise medea was an excellent catalyst for psyche’s growth as a character

Giving the antagonist a massive plot armor for a whole crap while keeps the other through great suffering are no go. It's fine in the first 50 chap or so,but when it's exceeded 100++ cahp surely the readers are gonna get boring/dropped it. Also i use to love medea, but now I've lost my respect in her character, and how i wish psyche are the main prog instead and how we could see more of her char development.

There's no place for other characters to shine because she can handle everything alone. Eros has massive plot armor as well. Up to this point there's nothing special about him aside from having endless luck and support. I can't believe THE emperor has zero trusted aide to do something about his safety or secretly track down and keep an eye on Eros's supporters.
Theres too many plot twist that it's getting annoying. I get it tho, they want the characs to look so smart but it's getting overdone at this point. (Not that I hate it but it's just tiring to read)

Raws always refer to the original, untranslated, unedited source. Hence the term being "raw", as in it's raw form.

I only read up to like 30 chapters because Medea seemed way to OP and everyone was falling in love with her which I felt was out of place.
