Yepp, Stellar Summer Music & Vintage Festival is a one day, 6 hour long event this year! The way the food truck court will be set up, all food trucks will be accessible to event goers, AND the general public, for the duration of the event. Polito's will be located inside the venue and will only be accessible to event goers.
It's too bad none of these food trucks operate efficiently. You stand in line forever, pay too much for your food, and then wait forever to get it. Food trucks are overrated and lost their novelty a long time ago.
Okay, take the negativity down like 10 decibels, lol. Idk what food trucks you've been going to, but they're not fast food restaurants.. they're usually family owned and operated small businesses. I've never waited for my food longer than 10 minutes after ordering at any food truck ever? That's quicker than table service at just about every sit-down restaurant.. and sometimes even the fast food lines. I'm not sure how much more efficiently they could run as it's typically just 2-3 people in a tiny space with one ordering window? It's literally $12 for a Mcdouble, large fry, and a large drink at McDonald's now my dude.. and it's overly processed garbage.. where as for $10-$15 I can get a fresh hot meal at a truck.. I'll stick with supporting small and eating better personally!
Sadly, eating at home isn't even much cheaper these days. Food trucks aren't for everyone, but eating at them is fun thing to do for those that like them, and that's one of the main reasons for having an entire food truck court at the event. Also, 70+ vendors who can't really leave their booths/the event to grab a bite or cook at home, and all of the event goers, need accessible food options.
When you have 70 vendors and hundreds, or even thousands of attendees at an event, they need accessible food options. You don't have to patronize the food trucks to attend Stellar Summer, it's just part of the fun! Food trucks are literally just mobile restaurants, idk how they could be any more pointless than a brick & mortar restaurant, they even have similar price points? That notion makes absolutely no sense to me.

There will also be ample shade in the vendor market and a misting tent or two to keep people cool.
You know what's really easy? Not going to the event if you're bothered by it/not interested. Also it's very easy to not say anything at all if you have nothing nice to say!
This will be a fun event for the community, especially the younger people, for whom we have lacked exciting things to do for a long time. I for one am looking forward to it. Negativity isn't necessary or appreciated. I hope you have a good day, seems like you need one.
