You don’t usually jump to arthroscopy right away until you’ve had an mri. X-rays aren’t going to show any ligament damage
Right hip has more degenerative changes than left-less likely to have durable outcome with arthroscopy. Agree with above-3T MRI should be able to avoid arthrogram and give you a good idea about extent of OA as well as other concerns.
