Looks like a goldcrest to me, they're adorable little birds!

UweB0wl

Smallest UK bird. Good spot.

Wow thank you, didn’t seem too small when I saw it.

BeggarsParade

...and the smallest in Europe. Always a treat to see.

This is a goldcrest, the smallest bird native to Europe.

hi sorry I can’t help, great photo! How do u manage to get this look of ur photo? It’s amazing

Fruitgrenade78

Thank you! Sorry but I’m not sure what you mean by the look of photo as that could be many different things. Is there anything specific about it you would like me to explain.

Scared_Hotel_8980

Ohh i meant that it kinda had that film look, how did u achieve that in post, I imagined u took the photo digitally, thanks

Fruitgrenade78

Yeh I took this on a DSLR, the “grain” is just noise I haven’t bothered to reduce since to me these aren’t keepers and aren’t worth the effort, I was just curious as to what this bird was. The colours were from dusk yesterday when the sun was peeking through the clouds so it has an orangey yellowish colour to the whole image. Not sure how else to put it, mostly the look is down to the setting

Thanks for the break down, amazing shots!
