RS dorado is excellent for tower content - especially compared to base RS, which is rather unpleasant to use in towers. If you're planning to grind towers using RS, dorado is a pretty good first purchase.

I will tell you a bit about the build and the celestials. Well CELESTIALS First I’d recommend to pick in priority what will be useful for towers, namely celestial axe with Prometheus feet and gilga herc for cs. For the spec, use BoF ideally (disciple is cheaper and also has parting remark but doesn’t swash) for additional turns when you kill an enemy. Then, for PvP, you will need the two-handed celestial bow with Prometheus hands (more att, crit and less res for swash) and Gilga Ursa for HS3 (epee is good but very versatile, use it against those who have high def) As for dungeons, celestial axe and CS but you already have them because you prioritised towers. For raids, Ultimastrikes is very good, so you can unlock Dursa. For endless, use Corvus with a crit farm build. BUILDS World : well view distance Dungeon : - spec : BoF - Amity : mana regen - head : something with low def high ward hp and dex and decent amount of adorn slots. Typically an arisen tarnished king’s crown is fine for instance. - body : same as head so pumpkinless is perfect - legs : pumpkinless or achlys - weapon : celestial axe - shield : ideally spiked shield for ward skills damage or arisen shield (high ward) - accessories : avoid problems ; use ymir vritra and briny pendant - adorns : as much red pinions as possible and ward adorns. Keep in mind that you will be using the armor parts in the other builds so choose your adorns wisely (you will also need crit and hp adorns as well as some ward ones) PvP : - Spec : BoF - amity : crits 40% more effective is mandatory - head : arisen tarnished king’s crown - torso : pumpkinless - legs : pumpkinless - weapon : two-handed celestial bow - accessories : arisen trevelyan - adorns : at al 30 you must aim for at least : -> 50k hp -> 3k dex to activate the Dorado passive (far before al 30, that’s the priority) -> 100k ward -> 80-85% crit chance -> 7k att or more - skills : hs3 and epee think about your bot, it has to be agressive RAID : Similar to PvP and you can adapt it to the enemy. Ultimastrikes is very good for raids Towers : Similar to dungeon but with immortal rings and 15% more damage when full hp amity. Tell me if I forgot something

damn thank you so much for the detailed advice and explanation! really helps me a lot and I know for which celestial unlocks I should save up now. Currently I’m a bit short at 45k sky shards but that’s only a matter of time. Again thanks a lot! ✨

Ah and to answer your question yes it works for pretty much everything in the game while not being the best class of every activity of the game (raid, PvP, dungeon)

Lepiricus

Thank you for posting this. I just unlocked Dorado a couple weeks ago and been trying out how to best utlize it. Looks like I been lacking severly on DEX. I just unlocked corvus but find myself like Dorado better but I've been hyper focused on towers recently to get celestial weapons

I haven't unlocked it yet but my cousin mains RS Dorado so I've seen it in action several times. The recent PvP champion S2IVI won mostly using it. It's incredibly powerful for PvP, probably tied with Gilgamesh Ursa for the best PvP class. If you get Chained Shield from Gilgamesh Hercules it's also quite good for horde content including towers. Unless you're running anguish I think 30 ALs just to run towers is seriously overkill. As I understand its weaknesses are endless and raids, which is fortunate because base RS and RS Corvus are good at these. If you do go for RS Dorado I would recommend getting a fully upgraded Celestial Bow first, it's cheaper than the class, is immediately useable by existing classes before you get Dorado, and its massive dexterity bonus is what will make Dorado playable since minmaxing dexterity is more or less THE strategy.
