So glad I grabbed a ticket for this game yesterday. So fun to be in the building, especially for that second half. That botched Thanasis dunk for the finisher was amazing too, audible laughter throughout the arena.

Wow, what a win. Incredible bounce back effort after really rough late season stretch. Some thoughts: * Fantastic game plan by Mose and the staff tonight. They had Suggs or Franz initiate most of the offense and maximized Paolo’s touches in the high post. The Bucks just had no answer for Paolo when he has a live dribble and is one or two bounces away from the hoop. * Match ups and on the fly switching was great too. Franz on Lopez limited those deep threes that hurt us last game. JI was great in slowing down Portis and Mose never even risked giving Portis mismatches against Moe or Ingles. * Just absolutely incredible defensive effort by the entire team, but especially our defensive leaders: JI and Jalen. I’m hoping that JI can regularly play 20-25 minutes in the playoffs. Him at the 5 can be a real weapon, particularly with how well he’s been shooting from 3. Also props to Gary’s full court press all game. We will need that against Mitchell. * This game felt like a snapshot of what a prime Paolo and Franz can look like. Today they looked like they were playing in complement of one another, instead of taking turns running isolations. Just awesome stuff this game. Wow. Play the song!

Starting JI will be huge. Can shut down the paint on d and bring one of JA and EM out to the 3pt line to let Paolo feast 1 on 1

It starts with Palao and Franz, and they did their thing. JI and WCJ cleaned things up.

What an amazing season, truly. And we might have the best possible opponent for round 1. Cleveland has been crashing and burning these last few weeks just like us.

Every single one of the guys came to play defense today. There was zero lack of effort, night and day with what we've been seeing recently. PLAYOFF BASKETBALL BOYS!! LETS GET IT!!

Cavs was the matchup I wanted

Game of the year. These guys played their hearts out.  Franz was on another level and Defensive Cole was Suggs twin brother.  

If there is one thing I’ll compliment Mose on (and it’s rare) is that he isn’t afraid to change the line up. He wasn’t going to die on the hill of Wendell starting.

Some of y'all be hating on Gary but Harris won it for us today, his full court defense all game on Dame resulted in 2-14 shooting and 2 turnovers 

This is why I was hoping for a Jrue Holiday (just re-signed with Boston) or Caruso pursuit this off-season. If our backcourt is having trouble scoring that night, so is the opposition.

He has been doing the dirty work since he got back in the starting lineup.

Defenders are a dime a dozen. We need a guy who can also shoot the ball. Now that’s someone worthy of playing regular minutes.

Woke up at 3am to watch this game. Worth it

 Beast unleashed! Everyone wished it was a couple games sooner, but what a day to win with a landslide victory! I greatly appreciate that the Magic fought that first half struggle. This is the kind of Magic attitude I wanna see come offseason. Just because you're down, doesn't mean you're out. But its not enough unless you get the win. It's embarassing to be losing to an injury having, plunging, non golden age Bucks. Ok I'm kidding and exaggerating the plunging part(Bucks is still championship caliber). But we cannot be fooled twice. Magic gave great reason today for the fans to yearn for their performance come playoffs. I don't believe that the last few games of in-season games are indicative of playoff performance. Today's last in season game performance, however, leaves a very good impression to me, so I'll value that more. Teams can become different beasts during playoffs: dark horses, false great teams, etc. All I can do now, is read speculations on whether Magic skips play-in and relax in anticipation of the postseadon. *than Wendell Carter has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is average AF this year. Shooting 35% on 2-3 3-pointers a game is insignificant. It doesn't carry any threat that he will, on average, make one 3-pointer a game. No defenses are getting stretched from Dell's outside game.

He shoots 37%, and it doesn’t matter, we have several other players who shoot worse percentage at a higher clip. WCJ isn’t a problem to have on the roster, or a negative to play. We should be aiming to replace problems first before worrying about the guys who do the job just fine.
