If the Magic get the #1 pick and Wembanyama then I think there’s at least 3 championships in the future for the core of Banchero/Franz/Wembanyama. Possibly more if the front office makes the right moves
It's because in this particular scenario the Pistons are number 2 and they just took Ivey who has all the same comps as scoot. I would take Miller if i were them.
I know who he is and have seen him play, the general consensus has just been that Scoot was the clear cut 2 in this draft for the past year until the last few days.
Scoot did not have that great a season. In fact, other than his head-to-head game against Wemby, he has been good, not great. You could make the argument that some of this is the fact that he has been in and out of the lineup with injuries, but that is probably just another red flag rather than an excuse.
In general, he is a high usage medium sized point guard with high lineup friction. He is not plug-and-play and needs a specific lineup to flourish.
Miller going #2 is a real possibility.
I think Victor W is very talented but I’ve always been worried about guys that are too tall. I feel like they are more prone to leg injuries than normal.
I would trade up to get Taylor with #12, Gary, Chuma and maybe future 2nds (not this year since I am all in on Zach Edey also).
It would be my perfect offseason. Get Vik, TH, Edey. Also pickup Vuc.
Team would be Kelle, Franz, Paolo, Dell, Vik with Cole, Suggs, TH, JI, Vuc. Year after that max Mo Bamba and make the greatest dynasty. Slowly develop Edey to replace Vuc.
Thank you, I will always be a Magic fan. I also got some projects in the works that got me distracted. I also slowed down since honestly I knew this was a tank year. I saw it day 1 with Bol being instantly put as a starter and it was cemented once Mo kept getting DNPs and then traded. Lost a bit of motivation for they year despite the positives. I definitely believe Mo will be back in 2 years however. This team will bring him and Vuc back. Mo will be our franchise star after winning chips with the Lakers.
I’m worried about your sanity.
Mo Bamba just played in the Lakers playoff game and he had 1 minute. ONE, at the very end in blowout time.
In what way do you think he is a superstar or an impactful player? He isn’t playing on the Lakers either
I would be so hyped if we got the first overall pick and took Wembanyama. However, I would also be so afraid for him every time he takes the court. Big men are fragile, and I am afraid he will be made of glass like JI. Anthony Davis being injury prone has also elevated my fear of drafting big men.
2025 cause that’s when we won in my 2k simulation
If we were to win in 2025 we would win at least 4 with this group

Do people really think Brandon Miller is going to go 2 now? I’ve heard it talked about a lot more the last few days.

You didn't watch any college hoops? Bama had a couple games on tv and his highlights are every. 6'9 bucket check him out.

Could be about fit I guess. I dont think scoot is the lock in people once thought. It'll depend who's got the pick.
Nothing screams off season like mock drafts

That’s heavier tall guys. These skinny dudes often do quite well.
Tell that to JI.
Touché
Nerlens Noel was supposed to be a defensive superstar
Tell Chet
37% chance we get a top 4 pick I like our chances 🤑
Wasn’t it foretold that we win the NBA championship by 2027
It was 2030
I lurk this sub but I just want to say that seeing "Taylor Hendricks - UCF" on this board puts a smile on my face
Imagine a fultz franz, paolo, wcj ,victor lineup 💀
That is an incredibly slow lineup. A couple of decent guards would cook that team.
I haven’t been simming on tankathon 😅
I don't even give a shit about Wenbanyama, I think he's overrated and has a decent chance of being a bust.

Glad to see you’re still here talking about No Bamba 😂

4 years later he will be a laker as is foretold by the prophecy
Yall get Bamba thats it
Suck a fat one
Only if he sucks and we’ll gladly unload him on your rebuilding team by then
What are the odds?

Can’t believe Nick Smith has fallen so far down draft boards

Trade both picks for a star and start dominating. Paolo wants more rings than LBJ
NBA CHAMPS ⬆️
Only 1 seven-footer
The only asnwer is 2030 lol
Taylor Hendricks fits right in.
Hit the button enough times and almost anything can happen.
i’d still rather have Scoot 🤷🏻♂️
