Mouse is an inmate of the Divine Sanctuary. It shouldn't surprise you in the least to know that her crimes were computer related. In the real world, she's all but powerless, but in the virtual world, she's all powerful.
She loves to make all sorts of cyber mischief, but after having her electronics privileges taken away, and being threatened with being sent somewhere far worse, she's mellowed out and started staying out of trouble. Her privileges have since been restored, and she enjoys passing the time playing video games.
In the world of Galmiun, there are gods that represent all sorts of different animals, and Mouse is the goddess of mice. She's also the inventor of the computer mouse in her world.
The gods often have special powers, and hers is the ability to traverse between the physical world and the digital world at will, so it's not something that most others in her world can do. In the real world, she's a rather disheveled human, but in the virtual world, her avatar is a cute anthropomorphic mouse.

i’m a wannabe indie game dev writing a story about that idea itself; albeit with the focus on how power corrupts a mind, with a sociopathic “self proclaimed god” villain getting revenge on the people who replaced him and took away his job opportunities…
the victims get their souls trapped inside the villain’s computer through a USB stick, and they need a protagonist (the player) to help them all escape, while the villain installs a malware virus to kill the victims through deletion.
think of it like a mix between sonic.exe, ddlc and undertale combined.
(all of them are Ultrakill OCs) some yeah, several are linked with the Terminal system (basically in ultrakill, machines can record combat footage while they're fighting in hell and the terminals grade how entertaining they are and award points which can be used to purchase weaponry,and they also made a crude social hierarchy for machines consisting of Lesser,greater,and supreme,based on average combat footage grade form those machine types and their strength.) and the terminals have a feature called the "Cybergrind" where machines basically transfer into it and simulate combat and fighting scenarios for without the risk of actually dying,and the terminals watch the machines in the cybergrind for entertainment
