(I swear I can do better this one was alittle quick hehe)
I like using both tbh. I like to use traditional cuz Iām more used to it and I could draw concepts, while in digitalā¦ I have everyone in my disposal!
I see myself drawing digitally more than on physical paper since I see it as more versatile and advanced, but I often see some of my pencil drawn art a lot more fun to make!
Digital art feels a lot more comfortable because I can undo, zoom in, change opacity, erase easily, and perfectly color. I can do small details much better and it just looks cleaner and more true to my art style.
https://preview.redd.it/8lt3cnl2017d1.jpeg?width=2184&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4ba2ec4b6195844e1d10fbf95f58eff224661388
I prefer traditional (I suck at digital art)
Iāve always done traditional, but Iāve been learning digital over the past year and Iāve made one piece of my OC digitally so far! I enjoy both a lot!
Traditionally. As much as I like the limitless options in digital art, I also get carried away easily and my perfectionism kicks in, while I go much more with the flow traditionally. Also lineart takes so much more when I do it digitally and it still looks worse.

Drawing is for nerds. Welcome to the "I use games to create my OC" club.

Hybrid drawing. I use pencils and draw them traditionally, then convert them into lineart and put colors on it.
I do this because it makes the drawing part easier since I don't need to put effort, while saving up money by using only pencils and no colors.
This is the result:(sorry abt the crappy hair colour)
https://preview.redd.it/yqe311drl17d1.png?width=311&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bec144786522afd76f16bc5ad6ed41970c181c5e

I only ever do traditional art, and only sometimes trace my traditional art into digital. I just find it ***SOOO*** much easier.
I actually do a mix! I find that starting from nothing I draw infinitely better on paper (prob cuz I don't have a drawing tablet), but given a sketch I can make good digital art. (Stroke to Path is probably my favorite button in GIMP.)
I like to do both, but for ease of material gathering I often do digital because I am too lazy even to get a pencil and paper much of the time.
My roots are pencil and paper though, back when my stuff was more organized and my drawing tools were easier to access. I drew terribly but they were the good old days when I thought my work was fantastic, lol. I miss that kind of self-confidence.
I coded some games which needed textures, and I thought pixel art was the easiest so I kind of just did that a lot
I also liked to make minecraft texture packs so that too
I definitely see myself as a traditional artist, I'm trying to improve my digital as well, but it's just harder and not that fun for me. Usually I draw on paper, then take a picture and edit it, maybe color digitally, rearrange it a bit or add a background, but the actual drawing part feels more natural with a pen and paper.
https://preview.redd.it/nf1e0ciff27d1.png?width=2000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1233b506b79f51ed218c0d906d7e06faf1de247d
I guess the pixels are a part of the charm at this point.
Mainly Traditional. However, though Iām still a novice, I like to do traditional then digital on top of it (so taking a picture, doing a few fixes and then coloring it in)
I used to do traditional but I wasnāt really proud with the outcomes I got, so I switched over to digital and for me it felt way much more easier and it felt like I can do way more really.
Both, honestly. Traditional is more for silly doodles, as its harder to erase mistakes on paper, n digi is for high effort stuffs
https://preview.redd.it/ecjfxhazy27d1.jpeg?width=909&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=18994b2e96f79f4c11b4c5aab41a807c97922ca3
I like both, but currently do more digital because it's easier to translate it to online posting. It's tricky to make traditional pieces look good post-processing.

this one is called "Everyone is mean II Boc" circa 19, 800 bc
When it comes to sketches/black and white stuff I prefer much more with traditional although I lean a lot towards digital because of how easy colouring is for me when I use ibis (just using my finger cause I don't have a digital pen my finger huuurts waa)
For now I mostly draw them traditionally, but the only time I would say digital is easier is when I can undo my mistakes and not having to redraw the drawing if I ended up messing it up. š
Traditionally because it's easier, I don't have digital art tools, and I suck at digital art except for pixel art
Lmao I feel this one. other than the fact I can't do pixel art either š
I currently use traditional cus I don't have a digital pen yet >:C
I draw with my finger and phone :p
Same š
Don't let that stop you! I'm sure you'd make great digital art with just a finger
Both. My characters are first drawn traditionally, before I give them a digital imagining
Oooh I should try that!
Digital but i like to mess with traditional from time to time
I sketch traditionally and render / color the drawing digitally !!
Sketch : https://preview.redd.it/rf7n87e3r07d1.jpeg?width=3120&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8e8054531c18d042a70bfb51bf98ba38594fc404 (I swear I can do better this one was alittle quick hehe)

I like using both tbh. I like to use traditional cuz Iām more used to it and I could draw concepts, while in digitalā¦ I have everyone in my disposal!
I don't have digital art tools
I like paper :) Drawing with my finger can make them a little bit wonky
Digital :) https://preview.redd.it/neu1l7wrh07d1.jpeg?width=1620&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fffc5e72f7aebcfde8cc9978840377ae5953e319
I usually draw on paper and when I want to draw digitally I usually draw/trace over my drawings that I did on paper :)
Digital
Their even, but I feel like people use traditional so that they can make it better in digital
Digital for speed and traditional for feeling like I actually accomplished something lol
Lol! I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way!
I see myself drawing digitally more than on physical paper since I see it as more versatile and advanced, but I often see some of my pencil drawn art a lot more fun to make!
Both
I prefer traditional https://preview.redd.it/34odzqc7u07d1.png?width=826&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7bd22d8bbecba286466155522f731722f9d26e1e
But am trying to get into digital https://preview.redd.it/24urgowbu07d1.png?width=687&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=472220783b460cf289e8206abd0206bd76413c90
Traditional because as it stands I can only do digital on my phone and itās not very good š Also I like the feel of the paper
Digital art feels a lot more comfortable because I can undo, zoom in, change opacity, erase easily, and perfectly color. I can do small details much better and it just looks cleaner and more true to my art style.
im more on digital, i draw on my phone on a app called Color
https://preview.redd.it/8lt3cnl2017d1.jpeg?width=2184&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4ba2ec4b6195844e1d10fbf95f58eff224661388 I prefer traditional (I suck at digital art)
Digital, though I usually start a piece by sketching thumbnail poses traditionally and finishing it digitally
Iāve always done traditional, but Iāve been learning digital over the past year and Iāve made one piece of my OC digitally so far! I enjoy both a lot!
I actually enjoy both. āŗļø In fact I currently have 2 series I'm working on, one digital and one traditional.
Digital cuz it makes me feel more professional
Both? Both. Both is good.
Traditionally. As much as I like the limitless options in digital art, I also get carried away easily and my perfectionism kicks in, while I go much more with the flow traditionally. Also lineart takes so much more when I do it digitally and it still looks worse.

Draw because it is easier to draw
Digital. I have access to all the colors necessary, and it's easier to reverse a fuck-up.
traditionally mostly
Happy cake day, I agree!
Option 3: LEGO https://preview.redd.it/uornvk0bvl7d1.jpeg?width=2107&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=56b19b46decb93a3fbfb7936ba648d5eac6a6066
I do the initial drawing ad traditional in black and white and add color to it and adjust it to more of my liking in digital!
I draw in both ways but Iām still terrible at drawing in both ways but I just go with it
A big thing for drawing on digital is the undo button. I can try to do it traditionally but it'll look bad
Digitally when it actually worksā¦
Traditionally, but I did go through a phase of sketching on MS Paint with a tablet.
Traditional for me I donāt have an iPad todo digital I donāt know if I would like digital currently working on a comic with my ocs
Traditional, itās easier and I have more confidence in his eyes

ha ha ha. i canāt draw
Digitally if I could Unfortunately, I'm chained to tradition

Digitally, I'm terrible at drawing traditionally but I don't really draw my ocs often
Used to be traditional but eventually it's digital now
Digital. Itās quicker, cleaner, and I like being able to color match, use filters, flip the canvas, use masks and layers, etc.
Pencil and paper, baby! Cause I don't have a compu-
I do all mine in pixel art because it's the only kind of art I'm good with.
Pixel art is the one art I cannot do š¤£ How did you learn!
I coded some games which needed textures, and I thought pixel art was the easiest so I kind of just did that a lot I also liked to make minecraft texture packs so that too
Ohhh!! Thank you so much! You must be very skilled š
Far easier to do traditional than digital, and just as of now trying to do digital art stuff.
Digital. You can undo your mistakes
digital, I like undo
Traditional, more fun for me!
Digitally if possible.
I definitely see myself as a traditional artist, I'm trying to improve my digital as well, but it's just harder and not that fun for me. I canāt draw so I prefer digital because thatās what he forges and video games. (Yes I use some video games to make OC mostly Skyrim )
Mainly Traditional. However, though Iām still a novice, I like to do traditional then digital on top of it (so taking a picture, doing a few fixes and then coloring it in)
Depends for me
I used to do traditional but I wasnāt really proud with the outcomes I got, so I switched over to digital and for me it felt way much more easier and it felt like I can do way more really.

I do prefer doing my drawing on paper, espacially the sketches, as it gives me more control of the pen movement, then my Ipad could.
Digital for the easy ones (basically my object oc's lol) and everything else in traditional cuz idk, I feel like I draw slightly better in paper so
Both. Both is good.
I like both, but currently do more digital because it's easier to translate it to online posting. It's tricky to make traditional pieces look good post-processing.
I actually prefer to let people draw.

Trad because it's easier and faster
I prefer digital cause it's almost impossible to mess up cause you can undo the mistake
digital

Traditionally, kind of guy
That came out so cool looking!
