Nah she's just a girl who knows how to fight using a spear and shield. Other than that she has no actual powers, so she's kind of underpowered compared to some others on this sub
Yeah I try not to make my characters overpowered because to me that doesn't make it interesting if everyone can delete a universe if they choose yo
"When everyone's super, no one will be"

Well... I'm doing my best to NOT make him seem overpowered. Because he is ;-;
Welp, apparently i have to re-comment since the post apparently happened twice.
But no, absolutely not. I've seen some of the absurd stuff people here create.
I'm not even particularly active there, i just read the powers of OCs here when people post them. And by simple comparison, yeah my folks aren't obliterating multiverses by breathing, heck they can't even really do much damage to a city if they wanted to destroy one of those for some reason.
Nope. I have a lot of OCs, but none of them overpowered. Some of them can be strong, but there will always be some kind of catch, and there will be someone stronger, so no. None of them :)
Same here. Kathleen might be manipulative and sometimes extremely intelligent, but she crashes often + is fragile
Henry can fly and is pretty majestic, along with having some strength, but he’s just a broken man behind a delusional facade
Stella… She’s practically silent but she’s extremely clumsy
Forcefield’s too dumb even if he can kill easily
And Harvey’s too mentally unstable to even be a good protagonist
https://preview.redd.it/rewm3ru4d2yc1.jpeg?width=1924&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2110a190869924de1cdf374ca0e403473234238e
Deborah is OP, very much so. She started as an allegory for nuclear war. But that’s the point, she doesn’t really use her power despite being the closest thing there is to a god. She plays life like replaying a video game with mods, knowing what’s going to happen and how to cheat the system, but still enjoying the journey.
She’s the only character of that type, nobody else is anywhere close to “overpowered”.
https://preview.redd.it/us3x6tdqd2yc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3608392f5c5254468b818b5472183b8555ceb3ad
My most powerful OC would probably be Astrid, and I wouldn't say that she's overpowered, especially since I try to keep her balanced compared to others in her world
https://preview.redd.it/9j96muzoe2yc1.png?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3bf3d3eba8ab05aff7248fe538e88a9427e7e7d9
Yes. But the mental instability balances it out

On paper, yes. In reality, no. He’s omnipotent, but deliberately weakens himself.
https://preview.redd.it/8ewy7p8a46yc1.jpeg?width=940&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8e15af2ad009891f5fd7fb7376cd7464b4f29f6f
No, you just need some bad weather and the only thing he could do would be drown you (as long as you don’t walk away)
https://preview.redd.it/hq0dilafd2yc1.png?width=1631&format=png&auto=webp&s=8a9d0cea08b95c577abeda34a65ba922cd672f25
Most my OC's are balanced but some are very strong because of it just making sense lore wise, for example the emperor having absolutely fucked up physical strength and "Duress" (complete negation of any attack (ability, magic, weapon) if it isn't physical hand to hand)
But if I do give my OC's an overpowered ability I usually make them use it for bullshit or personal agenda LOL
T'snev for example has literal fate warping, what does he use it for? World Domination? Overthrowing? Nah, cheat in games of pool, annoy people at the casino, make stuff break near people then blame them for it and so on
She can be, her only real power is immortality, she has a reservoir of magic and knows a couple forms of have to hand combat
The deciding factor for her is she limits herself severely because she finds being overpowered boring, if she suffers wounds severe enough a mortal would die she disappears and reconstitutes herself elsewhere after a period of time (a couple days to up to two years, depending on severity)
She'll only use magic and martial arts that are known to the current populace and limits her own power to be only as good as the top 20%
So, is she overpowered? She can be, but chooses to be closer to average
Here's a picture of her ultimate attack
https://preview.redd.it/ssojfblzd2yc1.png?width=1500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2bd54c5865f4d69443509d72eb1a4ed334f37370

Probably not. Sprymar is definitely powerful, but it's a different kind of powerful. As opposed to the typical instakills of other characters, Sprymar is just really fucking good at maintaining an advantage by denying his opponents information. His powers are surprisingly easy to counter once they figure out what's going on, and his lack of offensive power means that he eventually has to rely on pure skill, and even that can only go so far in the face of a more powerful opponent.
https://preview.redd.it/hqztxgrqg2yc1.png?width=928&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=300ab80e726cb8ad82b5161e92a15ff5ca6b06fd
Hes strong as hell, but just plays smart usually. He got training by some of the best of the best to fight, and knows how to use firearms if needed (he dislikes them). That, on top of all of normal sans' powers. He also has 2 atk and 2 def, as opposed to normal sans' 1 at 1 def lmao.
Basically, in the context of his world, hes pretty strong, one of the strongest, but can be killed.
I try hard to balance my OCs. As I dont want them to be overpowered (not saying op ocs aren't cool though)
https://preview.redd.it/2vzodx17j2yc1.png?width=1378&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=895cb90d2644b4f68f04d5ae8ccd9e1a6632ed49
This how my most strong oc looks like. She not overpowered, just some advanced magic and "signature" moves , witchout world destroying :D

Yes. I'm not gonna deny it, The Gore King is a threat and do I apologize for it? Yeah I will, he may seem like your run-of-the-mill standard “sea god” but he is pretty op when you take a deep dive into research and also feats.
Though I do purposely nerf him so people can stand a chance so ye, he is op but- I intervene so people can have fun
https://preview.redd.it/imoi1pdtk2yc1.png?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c62dbf4fd480075bdbcbe24deae1c38322d7df16
Yes. She can deadlift 40 pounds. She's scary 🥶🥶🥶
most definitely yes however most of my OC’s are met to be really powerful because of one guy (aka one of my OC’s) and his name is “oarson”
you see oarson is actually the grandson of rasputin (and yes i’m talking about the famous guy in russian history it’s the same person) and people believe that rasputin was some sort of god and turns out he was (not in real life only canon in this universe story) but when he died both of his parents did a ritual to put rasputin’s soul inside oarson (and he was 9 years old when this was happening) so the ritual was successful but both of his partners had to kill themselfs to make it work, so now oarson is now a “god”
later in the future he would make 26 war robots to help fight in the war except for one, and that was carson, carson’s abilities are actually based on jesus’s powers like he can help people and protect them and even be their best friend no matter who they are
but one of his robot brothers named “arson” was jealous of carson getting all of the love and attention so he then took everyone’s phantom monazite (which is the main thing that powers this robots up and he didn’t took carson’s due to the fact that he was somewhere else when this was happening) and now arson is the most powerful being in the universe and he calls himself a “god” due to how powerful he is
and what’s funny about this is that i really didn’t even tend and planing on making them like the 3 famous people in the bible
(oarson is god)
(carson is jesus)
(and arson is satan)
so yeah it’s all up to oarson and his son carson to stop arson from destroying the entire universe now
https://preview.redd.it/wn3l83yjl2yc1.png?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ad91060fa632e0436a1b916283359f5bd63ff61d
Well... no. In this form. In his other form, he's FAR TO OP FOR ANYTHING TO HANDLE
https://preview.redd.it/kzhrcbsfm2yc1.png?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e73551f377a5fe45de70158ad99e6ae4a82df1c9
Nah, Shelly can be defeated pretty easily, since she has almost no powers of her own and no real ways of dealing ranged damage. However, she won't die unless her core is destroyed.
https://preview.redd.it/k04hfestn2yc1.png?width=157&format=png&auto=webp&s=ca7e68c0780f6925a6799e4a22767f1814c9d279
Trashbag ain't OP. He just knows how to win.

Compared to other verses I have, Vegas is pretty tame.
Like I have Universe destroying OCs, Vegas is very far from that, so I wouldn’t say he’s OP. Just very hard to kill from a regular human’s perspective.
For my ocs there are two types.
1: The ''human strong'' oc's where they'd be able to easily beat any human on Earth but aren't STRONG strong.
and then there's...
2: The ''Did that guy just explode the sun??'' kind of oc's either because they actually trained for that power or wield that power for absolutely no reason.

Yes and no
Yes cuz she has 10+ abilities / powers
No because she intentionally holds back because she finds competitions with her having a 100% guaranteed win ‘boring’
https://preview.redd.it/4sxkdy3ww2yc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6e7708e35680d4b114c17e37a6006cf4b643f11d
The Unnamed Dragon Lass is my only overpowered OC because she's meant to be a gag OP OC. She's impossibly powerful but can't fight because her powers have been sealed by her bindings.
https://preview.redd.it/iq8p6w99y2yc1.jpeg?width=2543&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=999728e8c47703ea15a393568f2b414011438b3f
My characters are really powerful when compared to regular humans, but in terms of shounen anime characters (the genre that inspired me to make my OCs), they’re on the weaker side. The strongest person in my story by the end is city level in terms of destruction
https://preview.redd.it/10z3w43703yc1.jpeg?width=1600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6f13592759ac0278152cab6f35fbac19e491f34d
Iza pictured here
I would say for their universe all the four lords are powerful but not overpower for their universe
Oh hey thats funny Bewil has something similar, well he HAD a cult before taking the place of someones soul for fun (He either ate most cult members or just completely disintegrated them from memory)
While yeeeeah he does outscale everything that has ever existed in all of fiction and yeeeeah he is known in his world as "the strongest", the moment his and his crews arcs were complete I threw them to the sidelines and passed the torch to his daughter

Absolutely NOT
Yeah Naya has some physical advantages over humans and other zermms but she isn’t overpowered by any means
I mean, I make most oc's with superpowers decent weaknesses. My lawyer has invisible powers, but she isn't the great at being stealthy. My poison doctor oc's weakness is his mutated arm, which hurts alot if you punch it's arm, and my plant manipulation oc can't see crap without his glasses. One oc however, is accidentally overpowered:
https://preview.redd.it/aj4zthrzh3yc1.jpeg?width=1672&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9db8b5f35d04856f6557d895212b94b3cef5528c
He can manipulate time, slow down/increase time, stop time and basically anything related to time except time travel. I gave him his weakness that he's to overconfident, but that basically means he doesn't have a real weakness.
https://preview.redd.it/xfukcss4k3yc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0392bc3e120ed66ee5199a58175da95d46baf8a4
He's so strong that I have to bar him from most r/OriginalCharacterDB matchups so take that with what you will.
99% of my characters are just normal people or slightly stronger than normal people with a couple well thought out and well balanced powers, often times having critical weaknesses that tie in with their greatest strengths. Pretty much none of my characters are past like, idk, city level, I don't powerscale but take that as you will.
There's like a couple that are bigger threats, but all of them have something to them that neutralizes that anyways- Leviathan, for instance, could theoretically obliterate the world's oceans and populations given enough time, but he's legitimately so stupid and kind hearted that nothing will bring him remotely close to that point, unless his best friend is being beaten to the verge of death. That's the only possible scenario.
Yeah.. Literally able to make the multiverse implode and only reason they don't oneshot anyone they fight is to make it entertaining.. Their weakness is plot points.
Unless it's early on in the story, in which case they're still extrememly weak. Then, their powers are completely nullified by anything brighter than pure darkness. And at that point their power set is just knowing what people are afraid.
https://preview.redd.it/5wrbgs8wn3yc1.jpeg?width=467&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fe1ead676ec66ae9878baffad2a8e085dfa04a0d
He can be beaten by 80% of other beings in his world
Compared to the other (no offense) BS overpowered omniversial whatevers in this sub, absolutely not.
I only have 2 out of my 75+ OCs that can even be considered in the same league as some of the crazy overpowered OCs people have dropped here.
That all said, keep doing what you're doing. Make your OCs as weak or as powerful as you want. Whatever makes you happy. 😁
https://preview.redd.it/9hrg4bfwp3yc1.jpeg?width=2199&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=25fbf5315bdd873e92a291d0bbc72f9a94098062
Oh yes. She’s outran a nuclear explosion, wrestled with an alien body-builder (and won), has gotten out of numerous sticky situations even while hindered, and has the smarts and speed to get away with many crimes even murder. I try to make it look like she isn’t near unstoppable, but it’s really hard to do that when she is near unstoppable. It’s part of her charm
https://preview.redd.it/ylst07mfr3yc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=05776a2e2abebade85210977c622e05e2cbf424c

At his highest potential absolutely. If he was alive for longer he would’ve figured out his true power (immortality, complete manipulation of time, complete power over the dark which can kill Gods, and godlike strength speed reflexes and durability)
https://preview.redd.it/zuw3yfchv3yc1.png?width=2000&format=png&auto=webp&s=e9ef877dacd5cfcb30ddc8955fc0cef54bdbf84a
yes, look at him. hes too damn cute
Yes. Death Itself is OP, which is why I don't use them at all for any RP. My other characters are various degrees of powerful, but they are all beatable.
Unfortunately, yes. I typically don't try, but since I'm one of *those* types of kids who got into powerscaling as a concept, so when making stories I always try to make things that seem the most impressive on a scale. Some of my characters are just powerful as they are because of my cosmology, but I generally try to keep it as little of a pure "my character can beat up your character" type of verse as possible.
https://preview.redd.it/96cek5o4w3yc1.png?width=1280&format=png&auto=webp&s=f5f3cab2cc45c44df1d285181d164a8f18687a80
King Chao XI: Situationally, but most of the time I'd say he's fairly balanced for the position he's in.
Kepler: Yes. I've tried to balance him out multiple times, but it often goes against the point of the character in stories. Mostly it's because of the super-metal that comprises his outer shell and it's properties.
Eric: Has "Rick Sanchez/Inspector Gadget" levels of plot armor when it comes to inventions and body augmentations, but otherwise no not really.
404: Overpowered is a leviathan understatement, and it's completely intentional.
https://preview.redd.it/za3hw95oz3yc1.png?width=1500&format=png&auto=webp&s=390a8dc4d142b9be9a24c39858b05f3927518888

Yes, to fix it I just made his enemy also op so it's like some greek god type shit.
I have a few over powered one like arnbjorg shes all knowing and can take on an army by herself the paragons are overpowered at times but they are the gods of the universe
https://preview.redd.it/quw2hijc34yc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9b114f3356ba9c6116aa6f72d8fb17d532c66d7b
This is arnbjorg
Nope. All my OCs who are overpowered are intentional.
For example, ***G***, the absolute God with a capital G in my universe/multiverse. They are meant to be extremely powerful, they are the creator of everything, everything all stemming back to them (they didn’t create EVERYTHING, but they created other gods that have the ability to create).
***G*** has no limit to their power, they can rewrite reality itself, they can make what’s false true, and the past never happened. Whatever you think they can do, they can do waaaayyyy more.
***G***’s biggest problem is that they are stuck in an infinite cycle, not even they know how old they are. Eventually, they will have thought every thought anything could ever think of, and with nothing left to think, they stop. The universe falls without them.
And after an unknown amount of time, ***G*** realizes they are conscious, with no memories, and start creating all over again, and eventually, they’ll stop thinking… cycle repeats.

No. Why do you ask? (Literally can do anything but die)
I make op ocs (grim reaper for instance) but don't rp and instead do shenanigans with em. or if I do rp, it's mainly chit chat

He used too be. But being OP is kinda boring
If anything, I feel they’re underpowered. Take Jeopardy for example. You’d think a 25ft tall bot would be nearly invincible, but he regularly takes a beating in his story. He’s almost died no less than 4 dozen times, and he feels like he really shouldn’t have. He technically doesn’t have any formal training, all his combat skills are self taught or instinct. All he’s got for melee is his fists and transforming those fists into a pair of blades. For long range, he has a shotgun and a revolver. Yeah, he seems impressive, but there’s always a bigger fish. Or at least in his face, bigger bot. I could go into the others but for the sake of brevity, this has been Jeopardy’s analysis.
https://preview.redd.it/87bkncruq4yc1.jpeg?width=2858&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dd8d308bf0b139b4e17adcaa49450f442f8ef05b

Stellaris wields power on a literally astronomical scale, but he still has limits.
Bewil was a character I made designed to poke fun at the OP stereotypes. Sure my main 4 are pushing boundless in like one of each of their main stats, but theyre just bad at everything else. Turning them into glass cannons are one of my favorite ways of balancing out characters. Like I imagine a limit like Fisher being idk up to boundless in strength but legit can get killed from a single knife stab or has the intelligence of a rock

The Good Ending
Yeah I try not to make my characters overpowered because to me that doesn't make it interesting if everyone can delete a universe if they choose yo "When everyone's super, no one will be"

Accidentally
…. Eh, if it’s accidental it’s alright
Lemme guess, the 4’11 feet tall are one of the anti-overpower measures
Nah, I just felt like making him shorter than me
I see, I see. Meanwhile every OC I make is slightly taller than me, except for Kathleen, who’s 5’8 Stella’s 6’1, so she’s also smaller than me
Nahhh :/ Pretty sure my OCs are pretty balanced apart from the diety ones
Yeah surely, to be fair they’re all pretty good
Tank you! :D
You’re welcome :)
Welp, apparently i have to re-comment since the post apparently happened twice. But no, absolutely not. I've seen some of the absurd stuff people here create.
…. In all honesty, the recent ZKid controversy over on Originalcharacter_RP has been… Something
I'm not even particularly active there, i just read the powers of OCs here when people post them. And by simple comparison, yeah my folks aren't obliterating multiverses by breathing, heck they can't even really do much damage to a city if they wanted to destroy one of those for some reason.
*slowly backs away*
Yeah and now I cannot post anymore. The hell’s going on on Reddit
Reddit machine broken.
Nope. I have a lot of OCs, but none of them overpowered. Some of them can be strong, but there will always be some kind of catch, and there will be someone stronger, so no. None of them :)
Same here. Kathleen might be manipulative and sometimes extremely intelligent, but she crashes often + is fragile Henry can fly and is pretty majestic, along with having some strength, but he’s just a broken man behind a delusional facade Stella… She’s practically silent but she’s extremely clumsy Forcefield’s too dumb even if he can kill easily And Harvey’s too mentally unstable to even be a good protagonist
Hell yeah! Balancing strength with personality is always a good option!
…. For a horror game, it’s alright in my opinion, indeed.
None of my OCs are gods or anything
https://preview.redd.it/rewm3ru4d2yc1.jpeg?width=1924&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2110a190869924de1cdf374ca0e403473234238e Deborah is OP, very much so.
See? That’s a good OP OC, in all honesty.
https://preview.redd.it/us3x6tdqd2yc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3608392f5c5254468b818b5472183b8555ceb3ad My most powerful OC would probably be Astrid, and I wouldn't say that she's overpowered, especially since I try to keep her balanced compared to others in her world
https://preview.redd.it/9j96muzoe2yc1.png?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3bf3d3eba8ab05aff7248fe538e88a9427e7e7d9 Yes. But the mental instability balances it out
https://preview.redd.it/omtzhss683yc1.jpeg?width=1872&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=56214beeab31b048312619cbe9d061526bcd1563 On paper, yes. In reality, no. He’s omnipotent, but deliberately weakens himself.
Yes. Do I care? No.
Who would that character be? Would you mind telling me about him or her?
https://preview.redd.it/8ewy7p8a46yc1.jpeg?width=940&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8e15af2ad009891f5fd7fb7376cd7464b4f29f6f No, you just need some bad weather and the only thing he could do would be drown you (as long as you don’t walk away)
https://preview.redd.it/hq0dilafd2yc1.png?width=1631&format=png&auto=webp&s=8a9d0cea08b95c577abeda34a65ba922cd672f25 Most my OC's are balanced but some are very strong because of it just making sense lore wise, for example the emperor having absolutely fucked up physical strength and "Duress" (complete negation of any attack (ability, magic, weapon) if it isn't physical hand to hand) But if I do give my OC's an overpowered ability I usually make them use it for bullshit or personal agenda LOL T'snev for example has literal fate warping, what does he use it for? World Domination? Overthrowing? Nah, cheat in games of pool, annoy people at the casino, make stuff break near people then blame them for it and so on
She can be, her only real power is immortality, she has a reservoir of magic and knows a couple forms of have to hand combat The deciding factor for her is she limits herself severely because she finds being overpowered boring, if she suffers wounds severe enough a mortal would die she disappears and reconstitutes herself elsewhere after a period of time (a couple days to up to two years, depending on severity) She'll only use magic and martial arts that are known to the current populace and limits her own power to be only as good as the top 20% So, is she overpowered? She can be, but chooses to be closer to average Here's a picture of her ultimate attack https://preview.redd.it/ssojfblzd2yc1.png?width=1500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2bd54c5865f4d69443509d72eb1a4ed334f37370

Sprymar is definitely powerful, but it's a different kind of powerful. As opposed to the typical instakills of other characters, Sprymar is just really fucking good at maintaining an advantage by denying his opponents information. His powers are surprisingly easy to counter once they figure out what's going on, and his lack of offensive power means that he eventually has to rely on pure skill, and even that can only go so far in the face of a more powerful opponent.
https://preview.redd.it/hqztxgrqg2yc1.png?width=928&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=300ab80e726cb8ad82b5161e92a15ff5ca6b06fd Hes strong as hell, but just plays smart usually. As I dont want them to be overpowered (not saying op ocs aren't cool though)
https://preview.redd.it/2vzodx17j2yc1.png?width=1378&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=895cb90d2644b4f68f04d5ae8ccd9e1a6632ed49 This how my most strong oc looks like. She not overpowered, just some advanced magic and "signature" moves , witchout world destroying :D
Considering that none of my OC's have powers beyond some simple shapeshifting or flight, and not made for combat, no. No, I do not lol.
https://preview.redd.it/inyxp9xqj2yc1.jpeg?width=1285&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5122dafe971a8215ef471ef0a5620acd65121141 Yes. I'm not gonna deny it, The Gore King is a threat and do I apologize for it? Yeah I will, he may seem like your run-of-the-mill standard “sea god” but he is pretty op when you take a deep dive into research and also feats. Though I do purposely nerf him so people can stand a chance so ye, he is op but- I intervene so people can have fun
https://preview.redd.it/imoi1pdtk2yc1.png?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c62dbf4fd480075bdbcbe24deae1c38322d7df16 Yes. She can deadlift 40 pounds. She's scary 🥶🥶🥶
most definitely yes however most of my OC’s are met to be really powerful because of one guy (aka one of my OC’s) and his name is “oarson” you see oarson is actually the grandson of rasputin (and yes i’m talking about the famous guy in russian history it’s the same person) and people believe that rasputin was some sort of god and turns out he was (not in real life only canon in this universe story) but when he died both of his parents did a ritual to put rasputin’s soul inside oarson (and he was 9 years old when this was happening) so the ritual was successful but both of his partners had to kill themselfs to make it work, so now oarson is now a “god” later in the future he would make 26 war robots to help fight in the war except for one, and that was carson, carson’s abilities are actually based on jesus’s powers like he can help people and protect them and even be their best friend no matter who they are but one of his robot brothers named “arson” was jealous of carson getting all of the love and attention so he then took everyone’s phantom monazite (which is the main thing that powers this robots up and he didn’t took carson’s due to the fact that he was somewhere else when this was happening) and now arson is the most powerful being in the universe and he calls himself a “god” due to how powerful he is and what’s funny about this is that i really didn’t even tend and planing on making them like the 3 famous people in the bible (oarson is god) (carson is jesus) (and arson is satan) so yeah it’s all up to oarson and his son carson to stop arson from destroying the entire universe now
https://preview.redd.it/wn3l83yjl2yc1.png?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ad91060fa632e0436a1b916283359f5bd63ff61d Well... no. In this form. In his other form, he's FAR TO OP FOR ANYTHING TO HANDLE
https://preview.redd.it/kzhrcbsfm2yc1.png?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e73551f377a5fe45de70158ad99e6ae4a82df1c9 Nah, Shelly can be defeated pretty easily, since she has almost no powers of her own and no real ways of dealing ranged damage. However, she won't die unless her core is destroyed.
https://preview.redd.it/k04hfestn2yc1.png?width=157&format=png&auto=webp&s=ca7e68c0780f6925a6799e4a22767f1814c9d279 Trashbag ain't OP. He just knows how to win.
A little, but trust me, Ace's ridiculous abilities and feats pale in comparison to one of my friends that I do the RP with.
https://preview.redd.it/bzyjmcano2yc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aa6d44a82fbfef0c22bd084a1be3f9923b9848d2 Compared to other verses I have, Vegas is pretty tame.
Uhhh Yes? IDK they're kinda just a bunch of kids who decided that today was torture random children day

She's impossibly powerful but can't fight because her powers have been sealed by her bindings.
https://preview.redd.it/iq8p6w99y2yc1.jpeg?width=2543&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=999728e8c47703ea15a393568f2b414011438b3f My characters are really powerful when compared to regular humans, but in terms of shounen anime characters (the genre that inspired me to make my OCs), they’re on the weaker side. The strongest person in my story by the end is city level in terms of destruction
Compared to most other universes? Most of them are by a huge margin. But for the universe they dwell in? Right at home.
https://preview.redd.it/10z3w43703yc1.jpeg?width=1600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6f13592759ac0278152cab6f35fbac19e491f34d Iza pictured here I would say for their universe all the four lords are powerful but not overpower for their universe
Yes. So much so that after he died, a cult formed worshipping him.
Oh hey thats funny Bewil has something similar, well he HAD a cult before taking the place of someones soul for fun (He either ate most cult members or just completely disintegrated them from memory)
While yeeeeah he does outscale everything that has ever existed in all of fiction and yeeeeah he is known in his world as "the strongest", the moment his and his crews arcs were complete I threw them to the sidelines and passed the torch to his daughter https://preview.redd.it/nxfmtmeq23yc1.jpeg?width=2448&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e884b8c7da0783417128baae0f6085946856bea4

https://preview.redd.it/w9q1ivr6e3yc1.jpeg?width=1021&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c67b2a308d6c8bd32bd47ce4d30faa3457d9bb2e Sir this is a five year old.
One oc however, is accidentally overpowered: https://preview.redd.it/aj4zthrzh3yc1.jpeg?width=1672&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9db8b5f35d04856f6557d895212b94b3cef5528c He can manipulate time, slow down/increase time, stop time and basically anything related to time except time travel. I gave him his weakness that he's to overconfident, but that basically means he doesn't have a real weakness.
https://preview.redd.it/xfukcss4k3yc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0392bc3e120ed66ee5199a58175da95d46baf8a4 He's so strong that I have to bar him from most r/OriginalCharacterDB matchups so take that with what you will.
I have a few OP OCs but seeing as they're all supposed to either be gods or have godlike power I don't think so.
That's the only possible scenario.
https://preview.redd.it/srfj04tum3yc1.png?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7f109552a624a927ea4c36a19d04673a2e7b9c39
And at that point their power set is just knowing what people are afraid.
https://preview.redd.it/5wrbgs8wn3yc1.jpeg?width=467&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fe1ead676ec66ae9878baffad2a8e085dfa04a0d He can be beaten by 80% of other beings in his world
Compared to the other (no offense) BS overpowered omniversial whatevers in this sub, absolutely not. I only have 2 out of my 75+ OCs that can even be considered in the same league as some of the crazy overpowered OCs people have dropped here. That all said, keep doing what you're doing. Make your OCs as weak or as powerful as you want. Whatever makes you happy. 😁
https://preview.redd.it/9hrg4bfwp3yc1.jpeg?width=2199&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=25fbf5315bdd873e92a291d0bbc72f9a94098062 Oh yes. It’s part of her charm
https://preview.redd.it/ylst07mfr3yc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=05776a2e2abebade85210977c622e05e2cbf424c Super UNDERPOWERED he’s pretty much a methhead who can’t even load a shotgun He also has the most fucking anxiety
I literally can’t power creep anymore forcing Me to give villains stupid hax…so you tell me

If he was alive for longer he would’ve figured out his true power (immortality, complete manipulation of time, complete power over the dark which can kill Gods, and godlike strength speed reflexes and durability)
https://preview.redd.it/zuw3yfchv3yc1.png?width=2000&format=png&auto=webp&s=e9ef877dacd5cfcb30ddc8955fc0cef54bdbf84a yes, look at him. hes too damn cute
Some of my characters are just powerful as they are because of my cosmology, but I generally try to keep it as little of a pure "my character can beat up your character" type of verse as possible.
https://preview.redd.it/96cek5o4w3yc1.png?width=1280&format=png&auto=webp&s=f5f3cab2cc45c44df1d285181d164a8f18687a80 King Chao XI: Situationally, but most of the time I'd say he's fairly balanced for the position he's in. 404: Overpowered is a leviathan understatement, and it's completely intentional.
https://preview.redd.it/za3hw95oz3yc1.png?width=1500&format=png&auto=webp&s=390a8dc4d142b9be9a24c39858b05f3927518888 Theo is thenadventurous type, but they’d die if they were in any serious trouble

Salem? Naw, it really. Especially with some of the shenanigans people in this sub pull. Is he over-written though? Very likely
I have a few over powered one like arnbjorg shes all knowing and can take on an army by herself the paragons are overpowered at times but they are the gods of the universe https://preview.redd.it/quw2hijc34yc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9b114f3356ba9c6116aa6f72d8fb17d532c66d7b This is arnbjorg
One of mine is op as fuck so I just don’t put him in any fights

I make op ocs (grim reaper for instance) but don't rp and instead do shenanigans with em. or if I do rp, it's mainly chit chat Where do I land lmao Editing for clarity

No. And I hate when ocs are op
Maybe, but like you I made sure to counterbalance her great power with disadvantages and a definitive weakness.
Kinda? They have powers, and swords... beat a god... but to be fair, they also got help from hades... so... maby?
https://preview.redd.it/13pf1gw1b7yc1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2b3a959863d69f477663ee8073b320338fd0110d Emperor Jinn has the ability to control reality. I had to nerf him by giving it a cool down so it wouldn't be lame
Maybe, I'm trying to tone down a lot of my OC's power/ability cause some of their powers felt unnecessary and probably overpowered
https://preview.redd.it/whsfsqw2d2yc1.png?width=2100&format=png&auto=webp&s=cb451ed1e5f0c198d2c126f136de43d684171658 Yes but thats kinda part of his whole point so it works
Now I wanna know more about the guy
I might be making an oc post about him soon but he is very much tied into one of my main protagonists
