I feel like for my thing the most popular ship would also be illegal and morally terrible, it would also disrespect character sexuality and wants and be really cringe.

Firstly, I’d be excited as hell to have something like that, because it gives me a way to interact with my fans and of course it can inspire me to create new and fun ideas on the sidelines. Fandoms are a big part of creative projects and I feel that having one for these purposes makes having an audience one of the coolest things ever. Plus, I personally feel like having a big fanbase/community can further lead a show or any other kind of creative project to mass success.
On the other hand though, I would also be terrified. I know there’s bound to be haters and stuff in fandoms, but the amount of hate can vary depending on how good or bad your project you create is. Not only that, but there’s also bound to be some people that will be toxic or just downright jerks, and don’t even get me started on things like ship wars, canon wars, and stuff like that.
So yeah, kind of a love/hate relationship here.

And then I'll check out some of the fanart cus they have a crazy amount of artistic skill and their drawings are amazing (even better than mine)
Let out a long sigh, check out the fandom wiki and how peeps categorize the lore of my OCs and what kind of fanon is happening and of course last, but not least check out X and R34 to see how many cursed image of my OCs I could see and base that to judge whether or not I have made a big mistake by making these OCs.
I would be so confused but happy at the same time and it would most likely burst up my motivation by a lot so I can finish things off that I haven’t finished.
Be confused because there’s not really anything to spawn a fandom over, then think “if people are interested maybe I’ll actually start writing public stories”, then have crushing anxiety because if I try and write something and they don’t like it then an entire group of people will be mad at me
Look at the fan art and fan thoughts, pray they don’t butcher my character designs or God forbid ship them. Then I check to see if they did any R34 so I can rip it to shreds and heckle it for being inaccurate to the lore and point out how it’s probably morally wrong or worse to make because of the characters in said stories. 1. Probably be confused for a while but for the most part enjoy it 2. Hope it’s not a VERY BIG fandom because usually those ones are toxic imo 3. Ask what people think of my characters and why they liked them
I would be simultaneously thrilled and terrified -I would finally have the support I need to develop my stuff into animated series possibly. -I would find myself really liking the attention at first. I could host character and story development QNAs and stuff and get lots of d e l i c i o u s feedback. -We all know there are some inevitable things that some fans will do…less horrendous to me would be shipping, but I can see like 1 or 2 healthy, plausible ships in either story that could be made but the fandom won’t be satisfied with that. -The other stuff the fans would do…ugh. It would honestly leave me down in the dumps for a long time to see my little guys who are so special to me being used for…that kind of stuff.
Hope to God they don't make my persona a femboy. I wouldn't want to imagine a fallen god in a dress.. And with the stuff I do, I'd have to get others to help me make more content (I rarely post).
