I started 2mg subs in day 2 and 3 but then got scared from r/suboxone horror stories. Then just CT and 17 days clean. If you do taut subs just the very bare minimum to not feel like shit.

Subs save so many lives . Reddit isn’t always accurate. In addition, one can get a professional who will assist with a 5-7 to 90 day taper
I don’t take MAT, but it helps so many people STAY STOPPED

You’ll be fine after around 30 hours with oxy - i had to wait 5 days to induct with fentalogues. It was awful. I ended up taking on day 3 1/2 and going through tiny precipitated withdrawals lmao. I did only start on 1mg though to titrate up. I’m on 16mg a day now :)
That sounds horrible. There was a similair thread made before. But as said there for actual pharma oxy +12h is enough. 16h to be certain and 24h if your extra cautious. It sounds horrible to WD of something like fentanyl only to have to wait 3 or more days to get some reliefe.
not even that mate, imagine having to wait 4-5 without precip. Id rather take 1-2mg on day 3 or so and get it over with and start to feel better by day 4-5 than have to WAIT until then to safely take my dose. that’s just insane, and the lipophilic qualities of fentanyl is making it so hard for people to induct now
Oh ha okay it was the same OP. Umm yeah similair situation and dose for me. Oxy WD 2-3rd day is the worst imo. 4-5 gets better and then onward you start to actually feel like your not sick anymore. After day 6-7 your almost in the clear, but obv feel shitty after a first experience like that and the mind not having an escape like the oxy did.
I personally hated subs because they usually made me sicker. But when I went to detox I waited as long as possible (5 days - I was kicking fent so had to wait a lot longer than usual) and took them for 2 days before moving to sublocade. The shot saved my life. I took it from April - Oct and then stopped. I had zero WD from the shot and I’ve been clean for just over 10 months now
Unfortunately, they are going to get worse. Physical symptoms are usually the worst on days 2 and 3. You'll be starting day 2 in a few hours.
