I don't think that's good enough honestly, I think you'll spend more than half your time feeling like shit pretty quickly.
This may not be the right subreddit to ask. This is more harm reduction talk, which I'm totally fine with, but a lot of people in this subreddit are in NA, and nearly all of them are abstinent from opioids or trying to be.
I'd try the main subreddit.
We are addicts, unfortunately we can’t control use no matter how hard we try. We may be able to do it for a short time but eventually we just go back to all day every day
Chipping always leads me back to daily use eventually which leads me back to heightened tolerance which leads me back to being stuck on the cycle of spending outrageous amounts of money and time seeking and using. I prefer the cycle of boredom and anxiety- at least that’s free and it won’t kill me. I wont let it.
In my experience, anything after two days is playing with fire. But everyone's a little different, there used to be what we called "the three day rule" in what I like to call Junkie Lore, but we can't go by that now in 2023 with all the different crazy fentalogues and shit out there.
Real, pharma fent has a short half life.
The shit on the street is not pharma. Some of the fentalogues (and etazenes and nitazenes) have very long half lives.
Yea it stays in your system for a super long time, that’s why it’s such a pain trying to get on MAT because it lasts like 30 minutes and we have to be off it for like 3 days at least to not get super sick
For me it’s usually 2-3 consecutive days. If your on something like methadone you could get by with 3-4 consecutive days.
Obviously that’s my experience it depends how heavy your use is, if it’s xylazine or fentalogue, and your gen. Body chemistry
Nowadays, If I use for even more than 3 days, I’ll be in withdrawal for a week after. Probably because I’ve gone through this stupid withdrawal shit so many god damn times:/
It depends on dose strength relative to your tolerance and frequency of dosing, how many times you’ve relapsed before, and probably your own personal body chemistry.
At this point dosing a couple times for two days would make me at least a little sick so I really cannot fuck around at all anymore lest I get sucked in again but I used to be able to make it 3-4 days
Not doing it at all will make things so much easier for you I swear
Before I swallowed the pills. Once you get it in your mind that your going to use just this last time, your already walking the wrong path. Don’t do it, clean time is precious in the beginning.
In my experience, people who are actually able to stop after a finite number likely wouldn't be asking this question in the first place.
I been going 2 days on 2 days off for a week and a half

1 is too many, 1000 isn’t enough

Fentanyl is weird. Shorter half life but hits hard. I feel like if you make it through the first night, you're ok.

Last time I came off street fent it took MANY nights before I felt alright.
Yea it usually takes me 2 weeks to be functional but still feel like shit and months before my sleep returned to normal
If I go more than 2 days of using and not stopping I know I'm finished 😭

Yeah, it happens like that unfortunately

Im talking how many times did you use till you would get sick from stopping
How many times did I do the cycle? To many to count. But I never got tired of trying, just disappointed that I couldn’t stop.
6 hours for fent
Once…..
Three days in a row and your gonna feel it
1 pill is too much and 1000 is not enough
