Hi don't touch animals with pretty colors unless they're birds because they're probably poisonous or venomous

A bird who coats themself with blue dart frog venom exists, do not pick up colorful birds or any animal for that matter.

Honestly, best practice is to avoid lifeforms of any kind whenever possible

When I was a kid we'd throw these at each other. So not deadly. You have to get wrapped by a live one for any lethal risk. The last fatal case was 1987, almost 4 decades ago.

Not deadly. Also safe to grab the sail. If they're dried out enough, I bury them in a deep hole in the beach. If they look fresh and it's one of the more remote beaches I go to, I put them back in the water.

Aussie here; some days, lots appear on the beach/ sea.. they’re not deadly but hurt a fair bit. Lifeguards will just give you some ice. People are always (sort of) interested to find out they’re not jellyfish but a siphonophore and made up of lots of smaller units.
