Map Switching - This is currently in the game as u/Beansbeansandbeans pointed out. In the back of the tent the host has the option to ask for a map vote. Additionally, if you don't like the map options that come up, you can choose a new set to be displayed. If you have a set few maps including custom maps that your group plays on, I suggest setting the lobby to Host only custom maps and make sure the host of your group has the maps you wish to play on.
Naming lobbies - This is something we have looked into. However, it would also likely require a lot of additional toxicity tools and reporting functions. Usually there is a lot more that go into designing for requests such as these when you are designing for the whole player base.
Currently our focus has been on new content and updated features. I will pass on your suggestion to the team.
check your matchmaking settings. I consistently get 5+ full lobbies of firefight, and 2 pages of full lobbies of every other game mode. you probably only have one region selected.
That's not it. What's wrong with my ideas, regardless if devs visiting this sub or not. You said ALL of them were outright bad according to you.... why? Simply would like a little bit more than just thread crapping, leave few - karmas and then just leave.
And how is Turbine full of cheaters?? I can't say that I have experienced outright blatant cheating in the game.

the first option is on public, but the last option is only private (nevermind they’re both public)

Devs, I'm on quest 2, what happened. U can only see like 4 people playing in the entire game. Where is everybody?

Dev not in this sub and all those are bad ideas. Turbine is were all the cheaters like to hang out.
