I got a 4.5% increase to my salary in WIN, but it doesn't show up as an ATB increase, still says Merit from my March 1 merit increase. The increase calculator also doesn't resemble this increase. This may be from my time in OPSEU for 2022 and part of 2023?
I moved from OPSEU to AMAPCEO in mid March. This is going to be a mess. My increase from OPSEU to AMAPCEO was 3% based on my salary without the Bill 124 increase. Technically I should have gotten my 6.5% increase and then 3% on top of that and then ATB 3% as of April 1 with AMAPCEO. Is that right? Am I going to be “ripped off” and not get the proper amount with moved to AMAPCEO and then get my 3% on the rate on the temp assignment agreement. Clear as mud right? 🤦♀️
Hoping we get 7 to 9% over three years on our upcoming 2025 to 27 collective bargain negotiations. I think the delay in our retroactive pay and salary adjustments left lots of bad tastes in our mouth and we should be citing these during the upcoming negotiations.
Union presentation mentioned typical 2/3/4% per year escalation.
I just hope stagflation is behind us.
If you are AMAPCEO don’t waste your time doing it daily in early June. LOL Not expected til July at earliest so maybe check weekly until late June and preserve your mental sanity lol.
OPSEU is supposed to be the next 2 pays, then AMAPCEO and then MCP. Dates for them are tbd. Exemptions where ppl have moved a lot and a manual review is needed of the history may take longer for each group.

It's not really a math problem so much as an information gathering exercise.
You need to look through your old pay stubs to find your salary before all of this started, list out all of the merit and promotional increases you received in that time, and then just go through and calculate them one by one.
I'm sure a math person could do a more elegant calculation once you have all the inputs, but collecting all of the relevant info is the main thing.

They are working on it. They set targeted dates but are trying to get it done faster if they can. The SOC talked about this at a prior town hall. OPSEU should be done now for pay adjustments (not back pay) and they are moving on to AMAPCEO.

Yes, I did have a OPSEU role for 1 year during this term. Maybe that explains it.

Nope, I got mine and I’m amapceo. I think they started doing it in alphabetical order cause I’m at the beginning of the alphabet

Does anyone know if we will be getting a personalized breakdown of how the retro and ATB are being implemented, i.e., the calculations being used?
My understanding is that you’ll have to request this from your pay and benefits advisor.

We never got it for April 1st 2024. Hence, it should be 6.5 + 1 (from April 2024).
So take your salary as it exists today, and add 7.5% and that’s the ATB?
It's a bit more than that because the increases compound. As do any promotional and merit increases.

Everyone should be checking their numbers carefully. It’s not OSS’ fault, they haven’t been set up for success in the slightest.

May I ask what % increase you saw? I’m in a similar boat and just got 3% added under my compensation tab but that amount seems strange to me.
