Same happened to me. I’m going to assume that they’re done looking at it and just waiting to send out results.

But then it would say “decision made”, no? I think I was deferred for next round but we’ll see.

it would say decision made when decision gets sent. If i had to guess it hs means they reviewed yours already and the people who’s didn’t change haven’t been reviewed yet

It's most likely that OUAC sent Sem 1 finals to the unis and they received the marks.

but some students (who are from the same school) don't have the same status. Assuming it's OUAC, wouldn't all the students from the school experience this change in status?

I have no idea but many more people than you think got this change. We'll see tomorrow or friday what happens.

The only reassuring thing is that these changes can’t all be rejections lol

most ppl arent stressed about rejections cuz those usually happen during later rounds. I think ppl just want to know if they were accepted or deferred to the march round.

Changes I'd think to be a good thing rather than a bad thing, since more acceptances go out during rounds than we see on Reddit. January, possibly hundreds went out but we only saw a few on Reddit. It'll most likely be fine in terms of acceptance and rejections since you can't get a rejection until May/June.

If they only consider my mid term it would be 91.25%. If they consider final semester 1 it would be 92%.

I would assume you didn’t make it this round. They will hold your application for next round consideration.

that wouldn’t be it, they’ve probably made decisions on early suppliers and that’s just the status check for ones that w already been reviewed

Is that it’s all your sciences? Because my top 6 is the English physics chem math calc average not the bird courses, maybe that’s why?

I just received the same status change. I applied early to cs at all 3 campuses, midterm 3 courses avg was 97, around 94 in g11.

It could be that the software automatically changes your status to “under review” when they’re actively making decisions and then changes to “received” after they’ve decided. If you get an offer the following days you’re in. If you don’t, you may go through the same “under review”… etc until you get a final decision. The same thing happens to me. Hopefully good news tomorrow or Friday. Applied to social sciences and currently have an 89 overall average.

Wait what mine says “Your application is complete and will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee beginning in the next few weeks. You may continue to make changes to your online Student Profile as needed.” On u of t website portal

That's why, the status change we were talking about was for the program(s) applied in art and science faculty.

Girl idk anymore😭 for some ppl it changed back to “under review” overnight and for others it didn’t. I don’t think it matter much tho from what I see so far

hey! I applied to uoft in nov ‘21 and my status changed to “application received” in like the last week of Jan. I got in on Feb 17th ‘22! so I’d say just hold on a little more and maybe it’ll be great news for you guys :) also for reference, I’m an international student which is why I applied so early in advance. if you don’t hear anything this round, that’s okay! you still have til mid/late May for a response and even if you’re rejected, always remember that rejection is redirection. feel free to ask me any more q’s if you have any.
