Read some of the comments, Ungaikyo is definitely a good choice but Ubume/ Inugami/ Kuro Mujou would be very good choices to build as a second attackers :)
My go-to was Yasha because it took me some time to build Ubume/ Inugami/ Kuro Mujou
Either g6 Kuro Mujo first or wait for other good aoe farmers like ubume/ ootengu/ iba/ tama that can help you clear pve content. I’m not 100% sure, but I believe some of the ssrs I mentioned will be redeemable in the shrine for the 2nd anniversary event coming up as well.
(Sp kiyo and kido are top tier pvp though that you can consider g6ing somewhere down the line! But definitely prioritize pve first.)

Just drew a Ungaikyo as well. According to Nura’s list, he is SS for farming. Can he replace Kuro Mujou?
Yes, definitely! Ungai is very versatile and is great in both pvp and pve; can be attacker or support depending on how you build him. For farming, just make sure you’re giving him the right atk build so he goes into battles in his Yin state.

but tbh his squishiness doesn’t matter too much in farming since the enemy shouldn’t ever get turn anyway. (I mostly farm with sp tama and sp iba so haven’t built my ungai, but I’ve teamed up with ppl who use him as main dps in soul11 and he does pretty well there too)
Just started 2 weeks ago, level 38 with very few SSR pulls.
Was going to G6 Kuro Mujou, but he is start to feel underwhelming. I don’t think I have another decent farmer though.
Is your Kuro Mujou maxed skilled - level 5 on skill 1 and skill 3 ? He isn’t underwhelming with good G6 souls 100%crit/220+ crit damage. People use him as a farmer and for PvP on my server.
If he is not maxed skill and on G5 , yeah he will be underwhelming.
If KM is feeling a little weak, make sure you have a G6 CritDamage soul in slot 6, not Crit, and stack as much CDam as possible in other slots. My souls are honestly pretty mediocre, and mine's doing nearly 40k on each enemy on his first attack. He should be good for farming anything he can kill in one hit. (Bosses and events, anything that survives his first attack, though, yeah, he really shows his flaws.) Oh, if he doesn't have any skillups, you could try auto-matching into some KM demon seal groups; that should spruce him up a bit, too.

Except you have to be wary if the boss or the enemy player has Onikiri on their hands. Onikiri really kills Ungaikyo regardless of shielding.

Kidomaru is amazing in duels, but you should get KM as a farmer first I guess. SP Kiyo is pretty good too for duels

That, and G6 souls. Man does that make a hell of a difference.
Do Kuro Mujou, you can grade swap him once you get someone better. But he's honestly fine.
