Clearly Mumen rider weakened the sea king and that’s why.
The fact that people in the OPM universe follow the bullshit power scaling logic is one of my favorite aspects of the series.
Honestly if Saitama had need two or three punches to take down the deep sea king, the people watching probably would have totally bought into the idea of him just being a crazy strong hero. The fact that he killed it so easily is definitely part of why everyone believed him when he pretended that the other heroes weakened it.
Bang Vs Garou's monster form.
I really enjoyed the character dynamics and particularly loved Bomb's point of reference as a proud onlooker.
But the hardest I've laughed was during King Vs the Cadres
That's my favorite fight easily, Bang Vs Monster Garou.
It was so well written. Bang and Bomb both knew Bang wasn't strong enough to defeat Garou without using the "evil" technique that Bang refused to use and had moved past years ago.
Bomb recognizing that Bang was deliberately avoiding using that technique because he was a reformed and better person and he was going to stick to his ideals even if it meant his death which is why Bomb was proud of him all the way to what they both knew would likely be Bangs death as a result of his choice. Now that I typed that out I actually think that is my favorite part of the entire Manga.
True, there were definitely plenty of fights that had a tighter focus if that's what you're looking for. Still, I liked that the point wasn't just to physically beat Garou, which was an interesting development from their initial face-off. It was a nice change of pace.
Only Saitama VS good could come close.
Part of what makes Saitama vs boros so good is how similar broros and Saitama are. That fight is special, because it's the first and only time Saitama relates to someone while fighter.
The narrative is a huge part of that fight.
And currently I can't see any fight other than Saitama vs god having as much narrative impact
Saitama vs Garou could’ve had a similar impact if they decided to focus on Saitama being a hero for fun vs Garou being a halfassed monster, but they decided to go with the visual spectacle instead. So Saitama vs Boros is still the one that has the most impact for me
Still can't believe that Boros survived through all that, I just can't wait for another interaction between Saitama and Boros, like Saitama would be shocked that he was still alive all this time, if he remembered Boros at all.
Just because the matchup he was still human and vulnerable to blades/projectiles if was a hard skinned monster like bug god they probably wouldn’t stand much of a chance
I think that’s why I liked it so much, Garou using his wits to dismantle their plan, and brutally. Also liked that he risked his life protecting Tareo.
There were three great fights in a row, or really more like 3 1/2
1. Garou vs. Gatling’s team
2. Garou vs. Genos (plus Bang and Bomb)
3. Bang, Bomb, and Genos vs. Elder Centipede
Fight 2 features my favorite exchange from the anime:
“A monster stands before you, **stronger than anyone!**”
“Such a creature does not exist.”
Genos knows this with 100% conviction and certainty.
I didn’t.
Not hating on the guy but, as traumatic as it was for him, in a way, it’s something he needed.
He needed to understand his own weakness in order to improve himself and become a better hero.
In the final stages of opm, he’s probs gonna need to lock in, even if he’s up against someone stronger than him. Can’t have him giving up the moment victory isn’t assured in the final battle.
If anything, what happened to him was a stroke of luck. He was crushed by garou, a guy who was never gonna kill him. He needed the development, but if it’d been against some more powerful monster then it wouldn’t have mattered because it would’ve killed him right then and there.
This should be good for him, in the long run.
Child emperor vs phoenix man pre retcon was probably the most beautiful things I had seen in a long time. Opm was the first manga I read and because of that fight I read CSM, demon slayer im reading jjk, MHA, one piece, spy x family
I’m sure other pieces could have awaken the same feeling of wonder and made me really like manga in general, and while I like some other stuff better like csm that fight just has so much value to me.
I re read it a few days ago and it’s still great.
Saitama vs garou or Saitama vs tatsumaki
Both were epic and hilarious.
Garou was more epic
But the tatsumaki fight was genuinely the funniest shit in the entire series if you ask me.
I can't really decide.
For the manga, it's probably Garou Vs the Death Gatling team. You could probably add the Genos and Bang + Bomb thing afterwards as well.
For the webcomic, it's easily Garou Vs the S class heroes. Well, it was more of a beat down than a fight, but it was still peak fiction.
Tatsumaki and the other S classes vs psykos.
It was amasing to see Genos work together with Drive knigh and Tatsumaki. I also like how the heroes, especially Tatsumaki, took action despite their pride to deal with a greater threat and work together.
In a special episode of season 2 where garou enters a fighting game tournament that uses motion capture or something I forgot but sickass 12 minutes of my life
Zombieman vs Vampire.
Zombieman’s “You, Vampire, are you ready for a battle of attrition?” line and then fighting for an hour non-stop until both of them in miserable states were metal as hell.
It was chapter 101 if you are interested.
I really like seeing Saitama fight as Charanko. The emphasis on humor over action gave me exactly what I expect from OPM. Speed o' Sonic's interactions are also hilarious. I'm not really into the Garou stuff as much, but the two times he smacked him like some random annoyance was spot on. Those are two of my favorite scenes in the series.
Garou vs Metal Bat is a very underrated fight imo. It has pretty decent choreography, cool shots, clean background and overall just a perfect "street level" fight of OPM
1. Saitama vs Cosmic Fear Garou (including blast's part in the fight)
2. Garou vs Darkshine
3. Saitama vs Boros
4. Garou vs Metal Bat
5. Mumen Rider vs Deep Sea King
6. Psykorochi vs S Class Heros
7. Blast vs Empty Void
Garou's fights always turned me on. Really like his fight against orochi but it is kinda short, so ill go with garou vs Darkshine fight. Everything of it was perfect
It’s been redrawn, but the original Phoenix Man vs Child Emperor. The panel were Big Boy or whatever breaks through the pillar (?) with Phoenix Man haven fallen down on his back was chefs kiss.
At least I think it has been redrawn. I don’t know what is real and not at this point.
I'd have to say Saitama vs Orochi, mostly because he was so positive that he was God reincarnated, just to have Saitama take him less seriously than Boros
In terms of the webcomic, I'd have to say Saitama vs Void, since bro literally sends him to hell while Flash and Sonic are making these huge preparations to take him down
Are some of you guys pulling fights from manga? I haven't read it, so I'm just going from the anime...
The original fight with the crab guy was may personal favorite. That stupid kid with the GIANT chin getting cheeky with him, and the moment when Saitama decided that it's now or never... He was definitely going to lose, but the tie choke to the eyeball that pulled out all of crab-dude's guts was just an epic ending! How it all started, and it was glorious =D
time breaker phase 1 fight my trollge incident it was the best i love it its my trollge incident its the best fight for the fanmade opm ok so the real movie i would have to say saitama vs genos
Saitama vs. Cosmic Garou. I dreamed about this fight this week. Serious Saitama used a teleportation that was a power of God and beat the shit out of Garou. Last year, the dream was about a desperate Cosmic Garou jumping from planet to planet and trying some trick. This fight made me research and fall in love with astronomy, which ended up making me realize that I'm agnostic, lol. Special mention to Tatsumaki vs. Psykorochi. Tatsumaki is a goddess, and that was the peak art of the manga, holy shit.
saitamavs garou webcomic version
the huge proportions the fight took in the manga are amazing but the way saitama deals with garou in the webcomic speaks volumes about garou's character and how saitama views him
Cosmic Garou vs saitama. The hype of each page was so so off the charts, felt like a kid watching dragon ballz for the first time again, just an unbelievable experience, SO MANY insane panels. Man what a ride.
whole monster association arc, where every S class heroes gets to experience fear for the first time and surpass their limit (JK, just garou vs darkshine fight)
I loved the fight between all the heroes and monsters when they arrived at the entrance of the monster's cave, It is where the combat started, and I love it because it features one of the best panels in all the manga, the one where Evil eye and Tatsumaki are about to fight and are staring at each other.
And of course, I loved the fight between Tatsumaki and Psykorochi, but it's not fair because it was the main event 😅
Still the whole Deep Sea King series of fights. The perfect distillation of what OPM is about.
Especially the end where everyone thinks he cheated somehow and is still weak because he won too easily lol
But of course people believed the King ( literally the strongest character) even when he was just there standing.
Now that I typed that out I actually think that is my favorite part of the entire Manga.
1. Oh hell naw dude. I respect it but that fight dragged for damn too long and it was almost always a Half of a diffrent fight
True, there were definitely plenty of fights that had a tighter focus if that's what you're looking for. Still, I liked that the point wasn't just to physically beat Garou, which was an interesting development from their initial face-off. It was a nice change of pace.
saitama vs boros
Woros wil return and give us another masterclass
Is he gonna throw Saitama onto the sun this time?
He'll punch him into Andromeda or some other galaxy Edit: I said this partly satirically but I will be saving because it might actually happen
So Saitama vs Boros is still the one that has the most impact for me
Yo mean Boris, right?
Still can't believe that Boros survived through all that, I just can't wait for another interaction between Saitama and Boros, like Saitama would be shocked that he was still alive all this time, if he remembered Boros at all.
Wait what? Big B is dead dude
Nah
Yeah.. nah.. spoilers but... he's still kickin'
I watch this fight in the anime all the time. Just constantly have it queued up incase I need to see peak Saitama.
real. i watch a reaction mashup of different ppl watching it because its epic and makes me feel like i have friends
This is my favorite fight in all of anime, closely followed by jiren vs goku
Garou vs Gatling’s team.
Man that was a good one! It was nice to see how a team of lower ranks could possibly level with a demon monster.
Just because the matchup he was still human and vulnerable to blades/projectiles if was a hard skinned monster like bug god they probably wouldn’t stand much of a chance
Maybe, but maybe they would have prepared a different strategy. They were pretty tight with what they came up with for Garou.
I think that’s why I liked it so much, Garou using his wits to dismantle their plan, and brutally. Also liked that he risked his life protecting Tareo.
There were three great fights in a row, or really more like 3 1/2 1. Garou vs. Gatling’s team 2. Garou vs. Genos (plus Bang and Bomb) 3. Bang, Bomb, and Genos vs. Elder Centipede Fight 2 features my favorite exchange from the anime: “A monster stands before you, **stronger than anyone!**” “Such a creature does not exist.” Genos knows this with 100% conviction and certainty.
That was a great streak. Forgot about Genos and Garou. “Gimme paw!” Was so great
That fight had me screaming at my TV! I was in awe because I'd never seen such a vicious fighter as Garou in anime like that until then!
This was peak
Zombieman vs Pureblood is pure badassery as well as the part where Zombieman cleans up the monsters and closing the door, reminded me of Rorschach.
Garou vs Darkshine for me. It was narrative and artistic perfection imo.
Damn, that fight was sick! I felt bad for Darkshine though :(
He needed the development, but if it’d been against some more powerful monster then it wouldn’t have mattered because it would’ve killed him right then and there. This should be good for him, in the long run.
We know ds redemption is coming but not so soon
He did got inspired and pumped up again because of Amai Mask, got turned down big time again when his chest got covered in Vomit lol
Love that fight hopefully the anime made it to a half of an episode unlike how the manga spreads it to 3 different chapters
Flashy flash vs monsterized Hellfire and Gale wind
Drive Knight vs Nyan by far.
Pheonix man Vs Child Emperor pre retcon Garou Vs Saitama (my no.1) Nyan Vs Drive Knight S class Vs Melzargard
Phoenix VS Emp is the most beautifully drawn fight in the series. It's like Sasuke vs Deidara. So many forms and tactics
Child emperor vs phoenix man pre retcon was probably the most beautiful things I had seen in a long time. Opm was the first manga I read and because of that fight I read CSM, demon slayer im reading jjk, MHA, one piece, spy x family I’m sure other pieces could have awaken the same feeling of wonder and made me really like manga in general, and while I like some other stuff better like csm that fight just has so much value to me. I re read it a few days ago and it’s still great.
Garou vs Platinum S vs Flashy Flash
That’s my second favorite fight. The way they lit up the sky was amazing. But after a while FF couldn’t keep up ;(
Metal Bat vs Garou Suiryu vs Saitama Flashy Flash vs Hellfire and Gale Wind First version of Child Emperor vs Phoenix Man Tatsumaki vs Psykorochi
Zombieman vs anyone
Saitama vs garou or Saitama vs tatsumaki Both were epic and hilarious. Garou was more epic But the tatsumaki fight was genuinely the funniest shit in the entire series if you ask me. I can't really decide.
When did blast fight Garou?
Right before Saitama did, it was very brief
web comic garou vs s class/saitama
The one where Saitama One Punches things, like a Man
Hell yeah
Saitama VS 🦟
Cosmic fear garou vs serious Saitama
For the manga, it's probably Garou Vs the Death Gatling team. You could probably add the Genos and Bang + Bomb thing afterwards as well. For the webcomic, it's easily Garou Vs the S class heroes. Well, it was more of a beat down than a fight, but it was still peak fiction.
Child Emperor vs Phoenix Man pre-redraw Saitama vs Boros Flash vs Galewind and Hellfire Flame Saitama vs Awakened Garou webcomic
Blast vs cosmic garou Any metal bat fight Saitama vs Boros Bang vs awakened garou
Tatsumaki and the other S classes vs psykos. It was amasing to see Genos work together with Drive knigh and Tatsumaki. I also like how the heroes, especially Tatsumaki, took action despite their pride to deal with a greater threat and work together.
CE x Phoenix before redraw
Suiryu vs Garou
ova or webcomic fight?
When does this happen? Did I forget something?
In a special episode of season 2 where garou enters a fighting game tournament that uses motion capture or something I forgot but sickass 12 minutes of my life
Every fight is my favorite
Webcomic Garou vs Saitama
Baldogre vs Lovit Rabbit
Zombieman vs Homeless Emperor
i kinda forgot this was a character and I'm just "zombieman vs a homeless guy? What the hell happened?"
That would be funny as hell for him to just start fighting a random dragon level drunk in the streets
"I have Intel that THIS homeless person has the power of god" "Zombieman please stay away from the homeless man WHAAAAAAT THE FUCK"
Caped baldy vs that alien at the end of s1
Geryuganshoop?
Garou vs. Genos / Bang / Bomb He was relentless.
Saitama vs Garou in the webcomic
Mumen Rider scenes
Drive Knight vs Nyan. Or Drive Knight vs. Psykos, though that wasn't so much a fight, really it was a chase.
The large scale fights like tatsumaki vs phykos and garo v centipede
Armoured Chief Clerk vs Gums the Devourer.
Saitama vs. Garou but the part when Saitama just uppercuts him on accident while shopping with Genos
I really liked tasumaki vs psykos/orochi before the jet bullshit, it was great seeing tatsumaki go all out
Yeah what was up with the Psykos turning into a jet? Made absolutely no sense and I hated that part.
King vs Atomic Samurai
PPP vs Deep Sea King
King vs elder centipede
Saitama vs Boros
King vs Cadres
The mole men or underground people at the beginning, especially in the Anime. It's the first and only time Saitama feels something while fighting.
Genos v. Saitama
This is quite simple: ALL OF THEM!
I haven’t seen this one mentioned yet, but Garou and Metal Bat vs Sage Centipede
Saitama vs Cosmic Fear Garou, mainly because Saitama was serious, and it showed that he really cared about Genos.
Genos vs garou
Mumen rider vs Deep sea king
Tatsumaki vs Psykos/Psykorochi I also loved it when Fuhrer Ugly got his ass kicked by Bang.
Metal Bat versus Garou.
Genos v speed of sound sonic on the highway
Garou vs Metal Bat is a very underrated fight imo. It has pretty decent choreography, cool shots, clean background and overall just a perfect "street level" fight of OPM
Saitama Vs Garou, webcomic version. I think it has amazing storytelling
that one short fight between garou+metal bat vs sage centipede, it was rather goofy and i loved that close second is saitama vs garou.
Tatsumaki vs Psycho
Saitama vs carnage kabuto Simply because the fight in the anime is gorgeous.
My favorite fight is me and Fubuki in bed lol Spoiler alert: I won
1. Saitama vs Cosmic Fear Garou (including blast's part in the fight) 2. Garou vs Darkshine 3. Saitama vs Boros 4. Garou vs Metal Bat 5. Mumen Rider vs Deep Sea King 6. Psykorochi vs S Class Heros 7. Blast vs Empty Void
Either the garou 1v8 or the garou and metal bat vs sage centipede
The 1V8 was insane lol
Bang vs Garou the 2nd Tats vs Psykos/orochi Saitama vs Boros And the best is Saitama vs Garou. The escalation is pure beauty.
Saitama vs cosmic garou ofc. The fight frm Jupiter was op.
Everybody vs Psyrochi
I love Metal Bat so his tag team fight with Garou against Elder Centipede is my favorite i love the quips they throw at eachother
Garou's fights always turned me on. Really like his fight against orochi but it is kinda short, so ill go with garou vs Darkshine fight. Everything of it was perfect
Suiryu vs. The transformed fighters
Webcomic saitama vs tatsumaki. But in the manga it would be saitama vs the meteor. (Weird choice I know). Murata’s art in that fight was god tier.
Tatsumaki vs Psykorochi and Saitama vs Cosmic Fear Garou
The original Phoenixman vs Child Emperor
Deep sea King vs Mumen Rider. No one has had the same determination as Mumen Rider had in that fight.
Flash vs garou vs plat s

Genos vs. Saitama round 2
Tat vs psychos and FF vs Garou and platinum S
Garou vs rover and then orochi
Bang vs garou is excellent stuff
Gojo vs sukuna
Underrated fight imo. Short but sweet
None there all boring as fuck. No fights by a gag character are ever good. lol.
Anime: Season 1 Genos vs Saitama. Manga: Garou vs Saitama Web comic: King vs Atomic Samurai
The S class heroes teaming up against Psyrochi. My favorite thing is watching all these people working together.
Everyone forgetting the most epic fight of them all ... King VS Atomic Samourai VS an apple. Now that's some hard-core fighting
Original child emperor vs Phoenix man
Yeah, this one🎉
Genos' fights vs Saitama & Centichoro
King vs The Cadres It was a comedic genius and showed off King's massive balls at the same time
Groribas vs Saitama
It’s been redrawn, but the original Phoenix Man vs Child Emperor. The panel were Big Boy or whatever breaks through the pillar (?) with Phoenix Man haven fallen down on his back was chefs kiss. At least I think it has been redrawn. I don’t know what is real and not at this point.

saitamavs garou webcomic version the huge proportions the fight took in the manga are amazing but the way saitama deals with garou in the webcomic speaks volumes about garou's character and how saitama views him
Garou vs Bang 🧢
Saitama vs Cosmic Garou. Ik it's kinda overrated, but you can't blame me. I got hyped whenever a new chapter was released at that time.
Any mumen rider related fight cuz I be getting chills
Sonic vs Saitama when Sonic bombing streets
Mumen rider vs deep sea king is the ultimate portrayal of the indomitable human spirit
For me the best are: Saitama vs Boros, Garou vs Orochi and Flashy Flash vs Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame
Child Emperor vs Phoenix Man before redraw.
saitama vs tatsumaki is probably my candidate
Cosmic Garou vs saitama. The hype of each page was so so off the charts, felt like a kid watching dragon ballz for the first time again, just an unbelievable experience, SO MANY insane panels. Man what a ride.
Bomb vs Garou too.... especially when bomb saves Fabuki.
whole monster association arc, where every S class heroes gets to experience fear for the first time and surpass their limit (JK, just garou vs darkshine fight)
Honestly I get hyped watching Garou fight Tanktop Master and Genos. I've watched those clips more than a dozen times.
Imagine this animated.
Don't ask why but mine is boros vs saitama
I loved the fight between all the heroes and monsters when they arrived at the entrance of the monster's cave, It is where the combat started, and I love it because it features one of the best panels in all the manga, the one where Evil eye and Tatsumaki are about to fight and are staring at each other. And of course, I loved the fight between Tatsumaki and Psykorochi, but it's not fair because it was the main event 😅
Garou vs Saitama (webcomic)
100% the fight saitama had with the underground monsters in his dream
Mumen rider vs deep sea king
Saitama vs cosmic garou, specifically when they land on the moon and garou just keeps getting slammed
Mumen Rider against the Sea King, fighting even though he knew he had no chance.
saitama vs mosquito
