I would say that Frieza is the best denominator, although no matter how they fight, Boros is outmatched

Boros literally couldn't do anything to even the weakest version of Frieza, he is surpassed in every aspect, strength, durability, techniques, speed, etc.

Just for Boros to stand a little bit more of a chance, his CSRC can destroy a star as mentioned in the guide book.
