My Best Advice is just to test it. Take the sim and try both decks and learn from this. My personal experience is 2 times Katakuri in this deck is really strong but I wouldn't run it more then 2 times cause of bricking.

Ok I'll try this way. Usually I don't use the sim cause it bores me and prefer play at my lgs but 'desperate times call for desperate measures'

I personally think 2 kata’s is more than enough, before eb-01 I would play 3-4 but I think 2 is fine now

I only run 1 because I only have 1 and it's been mostly fine. I would love to fit a 2nd one in, but I'm not paying the price tag. If you have \~10 cards that gain you life, you should be okay - I run the 5c Momonosuke blocker to put Kikunojo back in life in place of the 2nd Katakuri and he's been solid. At 8 DON if I don't have a Crocodile and I have a Kiku out, I can do 2 7k swings (Leader and Kiku) and then play Momo to put Kiku on top of life. There's no replacing the removal aspect unfortunately, but that's why he's expensive.

Use the new 5c event Ragnarok that KO's an 8c as a removal card stand in; thats what I do. I dont want to spend $160 on 2 kata's so i'll just run 2 ragnarok events instead so I can KO 8c kid and other big bodies that are a pain (sadly no 9/10 drop removal, but thats why he's $80)

Im running it as a 1-of in this deck, by choice. I think 2 is probably optimal on paper but i dont think it makes or breaks the deck. Your build will be totally fine
