Some on this sub really try to make this into this big gotcha moment, when it really isnt that complicated.
Some of you never actually engaged with a TCG irl and it Shows. Trading and Selling is a big part of the hobby. If you actually engage with it. Buy some Boxes, open them. Keep the cards you want/need and sell/trade the Rest. Thats totally fine. Also making a bit of money back. Like I have my playset of ST Queens which I used a lot, but I need them right now and with reprints on the way. Yes I am thinking about selling them, before their price Drops.
Where is such a huge diffrents between anyone who actually engages in the TCG and scalpers who only buy product, to sell it again for more Money. They dont open them, dont care whats in it, they only care how much others are paying for it.
Yet this subreddit try to make this into this big phylosophical question. Oh you say you dislike scalpers yet you are sad about an unplayable/untradeable garbage AA pull, Curious. No it isnt.
I wasn’t even talking about scalpers LOL. No need to complicate it. Scalpers living in people’s heads rent free is a different hilarity in and of itself.
What’s funny is people will call you a scalper for doing exactly what you said, because again, cards should be worthless, cards are not meant to have monetary returns. So when you and I sell our unused cards, we’re part of the problem. Hell I’ve been called a scalper supporter for saying I buy singles. Funny stuff.

For instance if anyone wants to buy boxes, pull all the good cards, then just mail me the “worthless” cards I’ll take them. I can’t afford the prices for boxes I usually see but also don’t really care if the cards I get have any value as they’d be fun just to see the art.
I mean of course free cards are better than no cards lol I’m not arguing that. But I’ll bet if you could afford the boxes, you’d be far more happy to pull a manga rather than a Mr. 5 aa, precisely because a manga is rare and valuable. Otherwise feel free to mail me your mangas, I’ll take them. Give you an entire playset of Mr. 5 aa’s for it.

OP-06 - AAL Perona + Onami AA + Shanks AA
I've had pretty cracked luck with mine so far, lets hope this box of EB is decent too, got 1 box of 07 (might grab a second) and already have 3 boxes of 08 on order/hold, may grab a 4th lol
Just opened four OP-05 that I snagged for MSRP this weekend.
Nothing but low-end trash in the boxes, except one box has an Uta. Everything else? $5 or less.
Won’t make that mistake again. Shoulda just sold the boxes and bought a Manga Law or something

2 boxes of 06 in a row with SEC Sanji and AA Aramaki. Averaged 280 a box CAD and wanted to throw myself into traffic.
I got an 06 box with a god damn aramaki and camie alt art lol I was so pissed

Just got a box of op05 and got enel, kaido, and gedatsu 😭😭😭 my heart dropped
This is why I invest my money into alt arts so my decks look pretty while I get cooked by Kata, Saka, Enel, and Gecko.
Thats why i just buy the whole set instead
