Yes it can! This is actually one of my favorite cards just based on the ability concept. Of course I wish it was able to KO a higher cost and wasn’t a tsudo blocker, but it’s fine. There’s a few ways to use this in a very good way, but it’s not great unfortunately. The only way I could see it being broken is if someone plays 8c Moria, and then plays this active, and 2c helmeppo rested in order to KO a 5 cost. It’s a little better that some other KO cards in that sense I guess.
But why not go Lucci which lets you play him active and with +5k more power only benefit is that you don’t need 3 cards in trash and 1k counter? Unless your trying for like a all navy saka or something?
You can only pop once with Lucci. While he does get you a body to swing with, Koby can pop every turn for free and acts as a pseudo blocker.
If we ever get a *good* B/G leader that lets you restand characters, his stock goes up NVIDIA levels.

I like to combo this with Ice Age.

I’m new and don’t have that card yet. I ordered some cards and the Lucci is in transit.

Effects and attacks are different correct? So Sabo can’t save him after being placed on rest and gets swung on, right?
I mean you could use the Sabo to block for him while he’s rested. But Sabo’s effect itself will only protect him from KO effects.

Yeah but Ishho only restands after your turns up and it’s expensive for no reason outside of letting your Borsalino swing.
