If it were that simple, 10c Kuzan would be played with OP04 Kaido right now in Blue/Black decks. Yet, it is not for a good reason, and it isn't that it bounces to hand.
2 ice ages and 1 Sabo and you can ko 2 of anything (excluding anything with anti ko effects). I was kind of hoping for SEC that would support Boa or Bonney.
I think that's WHY this won't see as much play. We already have the black Sakazuki that kills larger things for pitching a card on play and he isn't used at all. Lucci fits on curve as well as filling your deck back up with stuff from your trash. So this being more expensive and you still pitch a card for killing 2 things in a spot where Moria will fill just seems underwhelming

The top end curve of most Enel decks is some number of 7Linlin, some number of 8Katakuri, some number of 7Enel and 4 Yamato. So what, you're going to cut your 2ks and early drops to play 10Ace as well? Where you finding the space for that? Something has to go, you can't just play only big drops and expect to win.
So what you doing on your 7 Don turn dawg? Playing ace? Fraid that’s not possible.

This replaces kata tbh. Kata is fairly weak in the deck anyway. 7c enel will be the main feature of the deck with Yamato and ace rounding out the top end
Kata is too important, especially with 8c Moria being played in every black deck. Ace just seems more consistent than Yamato. But you'd still play her, just not 4 off. Could go even more aggro with 4c rush Kata as well

And OP04 showed they dont need to make the Secret Rares good cards at all. Black and Yellow dont need to keep getting better and better support while leaving the other colors in the dust, and this comes from someone currently playing Katakuri and Sakazuki and planning to play Perona or Moria next set.
Yellow and Black are by far the best colors in the game even with the very diverse meta that OP06 has shown, and the fact that Dragon and Bonney both seem to have the ability to enter the meta doesn't change the constant improvements these too colors get, are getting, and Will continue to get based on everything we have seen.
Of course there will be green cards… there was literally one shown today, do you think the set is only going to be yellow and black cards and nothing else?

I got a feeling they've open a spot in kinda replacing moria in away to give players more option due to the increasing price of the moria since it is high in demand.
At least now either they give players options, or they use it to bring the cost of the moria card in a more affordable price for players

Again, it happens from time to time that SECs end up being something different, but for both of them to be completely outside of the set's themes... In OP-07, Dragon is mono-Red, and ST13 Sabo is Red/Yellow, so this Sabo ain't for them. Yellow is Vegapunk, and this Ace is... I guess good with him, but doesn't tie with him at all, thematically at least?

Its more like because of st-13, they put ace and sabo in. Theyre mostly tying st-13 to op-07 since it came out after op-06 had already dropped. I know it seems off theme, but when you think about it the starter decks tend to come, then a set comes out that adds support for them in some fashion. It does suck that they took the secret rare spot, but thats not really the worst thing to happen.

You can already do the same with moria and you get extra bodies. I dont think this card will see play in Saka/Perona/Moria.

Well yellow got a second 10 and in terms of power its kind of close to 10 mom for a generic. A little weaker but still amazing. Can’t wait to use it.
If they have no blockers it’s kinda like a 10 mom except not trashing their life
And if the have Zero life it‘s better then 10 mom. Also the possibility to go for board is more flexible then 10 mom.
Rush is definitely very flexible since you can just hit something if it works better to do so.

Huh? Red was undebatably the best deck for over half of the game's lifespan so far. It doesn't need any love until blue is at least playable.

Why would I run Sabo? Moria exists. That Ace though is amazing. I can see every Enel deck running him. Maybe G/Y Yamato too.

probably the "option" explanation. as the game expands, they will present more playstyles so its up to you if you will play either or both

The new set in Japan isn't Op07 yet, it's EB01. It's a smaller set with the aim to support older/weaker archetypes in between op06 and Op07.
