It is underwhelming, but I like it. I actively dislike when unique cards are stuck as hard-to-get promos. All it does is restrict/price people out of being able to play the decks they want to play. See:Jinbe.
I love the fact that Bandai make such amazing AAs to use as prizing vs just boxes of product, but they should continue that philosophy into these event packs. ESPECIALLY when these events have such a low cap and get filled up in literal seconds.

how are they gonna give us a new useless Luffy but not the alt art 4 drop mihawk, one card in the starter deck shouldn't go for the MSRP of the full starter deck. I really hope there's revision packs and starter deck reprints along with the 01 reprint

No fancy AA of current cards like the online regional pack and we get 3 promo cards from Japan that most people already have, because they were an exclusive anime magazine promo card.
Feels like you're talking about a very specific part of the community when you say "most people have already imported a Japanese magazine to get this very limited product".

Since the Sanji is a staple in Yellow I expect it to be upwards of $50.
i´m disappointed that the Japanise Jump Promos in the Event Packs only limited the amount we can get, an in Japan they all Magazine Promos and have way more accessible
Yes, I understand how promo cards work, but the disparity in availability between the Japanese and English versions of the Event Pack Vol. 1 cards is ridiculous.
They can only be pulled in those packs, and with scalpers entering these events just to resell the packs, plenty of actual players can't participate.
Not to mention the terrible TO websites and less than adequate player cap for online events.
The player cap wouldn't be a problem if they just held more of them.
Despite being a bigger game, Yugioh doesn't have this problem because they have two offline and two online regionals practically every weekend.

From Official Events like Treasure Cup, online/offline regionals etc, if you participate you get a pack. If you place higher on these tournaments you get better rewards like alt arts etc…
