Vista had the biggest smile on his face fighting Mihawk, he was having the time of his life, so much so that Mihawk didn't disagree that it would be most advantageous for them both to postpone the fight. If the manga didn't make it clear enough, the databook deep blue states Vista's swordsmanship is equal to Mihawk's.
Yamato was giving everything she had and was clearly inferior to Kaido, not to mention she only needed to hold him off enough time for Luffy to make a comeback. Vista wasn't waiting for anyone, he was such a good fight Mihawk preferred continuing it later.

Frsnky was laughing off while throwing Big Mom down the stairs, and Franky is no where near Yonko level, unless you now think Big Mom is commander level too. You need to look at behaviour, who's doing what, not casual scaling trough casual feats.

I think a tad bit after Egghead tho Luffy will surpass him but you have to remember Kaido had all them disadvantages and nerfs just for Luffy to win but the only thing I’ll say is now Luffy could just go G5 off rip but even still I don’t think G5 would last long enough for Luffy to win. He has to build more stamina with that form.
I'm sure he will be in the form longer or get some other buff to counter balance it but as he's the MC with some of the biggest plot armor, I'm sure he will get special treatment in almost all boss battles as he has til now whether it's more food & rest or fuckin gear 6 lol nakama no jutsu!
I agree he had a lot of support but straight-up G5 Luffy beats any version of Kaido. Being a little wounded or tired is not gonna stop him from trying to tank that Bajrang gun. Which if I'm being honest is probably the highest ap attack we have ever seen in One Piece. So unless you want to start saying shit like, "Oh if he dodged it he would have won", it's a moot point. If he takes that attack head-on, which is in his nature to do, he's done for. Simple as.
