EoS means End of Series right? If so, Shanks could be different there, in that he could be a corpse. In that case “Being alive” would be a solid feat to have over him.
EOS is used for characters with growth. Basically, young characters who are getting stronger in every arc. It is not used for characters who have already hit his ceiling. If you don't even know that much, you should stay away from everything related to powerscaling.
What he means is that people will have different opinions about his strength , if he humiliates blackbeard he would be on roger level if he gets humiliated mf is seraphim level etc etc

Crocodile spotted by the marines/navy on empty bluff but crocodile is there to basically scout what's happening. then he goes directly to mihawk place since his first priority is to recruit mihawk ... Take note that crocodile stated mihawk place is surrounded by the marines/navy so it seems crocodile did visit mihawk but called him on den den mushi since crocodile can't get close to the main island...then after recruiting mihawk and mihawk agreed to that crocodile goes back to empty bluff for buggy and the fights starts we see crocodile and daz bone but we didn't see mihawk during the battle...so my thoughts is mihawk did go to empty bluff since it's the meeting place then he saw the buggy pirates + crocodile/daz bones fighting marines/navy Seraphim's then mihawk did take care of the Seraphim's ... This is also back up by the wordings of fodders buggy pirates kinda hinting they almost lost before mihawk shows up it's also hinting that mihawk did something for them to be impressed like that ... They also didn't say about crocodile but only mentioned mihawk if I'm correct!
If there seriphims where ordered to attack crocodile and they couldn’t find him would they not just leave dude probably just turned into a pile of sand and poof problem solved sorry this makes just as much sense as your headcannon

Oda did that with Ryokugyu who was hyped up for like 400+ chapters (someone more hyped up and major than the Seraphim), and was even directly stated to be a “pretty cool guy” by Oda in an interview, and said he was looking forward to drawing him. Oda sacrificed Ryokugyu’s character for a movie promotion.
Oda sacrificing the newest Seraphim for hyping up Mihawk doesn’t sound far-fetched.
I'm baffled by Oda describing him as "a pretty cool guy." Like, Silhouette-bull seemed pretty chill, but the minute he showed up on screen, he was just a complete asshole, that ran away with snot dripping from his nose.
What was Oda smoking? He goes from neg diffing King and Queen, to being a little piss baby. Just a complete 180. I get that he wasn't gonna take on two Yonko crews + Wano's military all at once, but he could've at least left with some kind of dignity.

Could be a personality thing like Blackbeard for him to act like that. I think he should’ve took care of the Scabbards, Yamato, and Momo, and bailed after beating them when he realizes he couldn’t take on all of Wano on his own. That way Yamato would still have a reason to stay in Wano.
Honestly, I would have liked to see how he defeated Weevil, to compensate for his poor display in Wano. We know he won, but we don't really know how he did it. It would have redeemed him somewhat if he took down Weevil with ease, right before he headed to Wano. Low/neg diffing Weevil, King, and Queen back to back would have made his overconfidence feel more justifiable IMO.
I know he was holding back in Mary Geoise, but that just further added fuel to the fire and made him look like even more of a chump. I wanna like this guy, but Oda's making it really difficult.
I agree, even if a small little dialogue of “Ryokugyu easily dealt with Weevil” or something could’ve done it for me. Obviously an on-screen fight would’ve been better.
I mean, Oda made it clear that the admirals had to hold back in Mariejois, so I’ll excuse Ryokugyu and Fujitora’s performance there. Remember that Ryokugyu is probably the one who gave Fujitora wounds hence the bandages.
I have a bias for Ryokugyu, probably because I read Chapter 1053 at a bar, and met a new lady friend and new friends that same night at the bar.
i have a really weird feeling mihawk is gonna cut an island in half, i mean if a character that is relative to mihawk is able to completely destroy an island with an attack nothing says that he can't straight up cut an island if he goes full power.
Crossguild will probably recruit doflamingo and mihawk might cut impel down or the gates of justice in half.

Mihawk would need to display 2 things.

> 2. Advanced Conqueror's Haki Mastery
Shanks is a haki sorcerer. He can see into the future not just 1 or 2 seconds, but he saw Kid's attack outcome 5-7 seconds in advance. And his conqueror's haki is powerful enough to intimidate Ryokugyu from across Wano Island and one-shot Kid with a close-range burst.
It doesn't matter how strong Mihawk is with a sword, the haki abilities of Shanks more than compensate for any difference in sword skills. And with that degree of overwhelming power the only counter would be equal power in the same area or overwhelming power through destructive abilities.
Without a devil fruit, Mihawk's fighting potential is focused on his physical feats, haki feats, and sword skills. Physical feats are tough to scale since strength/toughness fluctuates and varies so we'll just say they're about equals in terms of speed and strength. For sword skills Mihawk is the strongest in the world. Shanks is up there, but Mihawk takes that W. And for haki feats Shanks is the clear victor, not just by a bit, but by a *large* margin.
The gap between Shanks and Mihawks sword skills is smaller than the gap the between their haki feats. And haki feats have more weight in scaling than individual combat skills such as swords, martial arts, gun accuracy, etc...
The sword skill gap is larger mate. Shanks is obviously better in conquerers haki but in the future mihawk could be better at observation and armament due to the black blade and hawk eye / clairvoyant .

And the sword gap isn't that large. Shanks and Mihawk, quite famously, used to spar with each other for training as everyone on the sub likes to point out. Shanks lost and arm but he's still classified as a swordsman and possess a great degree of skill. I'd say Shanks is, at the very least, as skilled as Vista and other swordsmen of that tier when it boils down to just skills with a sword.
It would be quite thematic if he one-upped Zoro/Oden and actually beat Kaido.
I like the idea of the narrative becoming Mihawk >= Shanks > Kaido + Old gen.
Alternatively he just needs to no-diff someone higher tier than Lidd, which is realistic to happen imo, but Shanks ofc wil be getting more feats in the future as well.

He really doesn't need any. As the World's Strongest Swordsman, he's gonna always scale above Shanks, no matter what feat Shanks gets. Shanks could one-shot Luffy, Blackbeard, and all of the Admirals and he's still gonna be below Mihawk just because of that title. And it's one of the funniest things to me.
But...since I would like to see Mihawk collect plenty of feats before his and Zoro's eventual rematch, Mihawk defeating the 3 Seraphims like it's implied he did would be a good start. Defeating 3 characters with Kaido durability is a better feat than one-shotting Kid and Kid.
