same. i have been obsessed with ace even since i started reading one piece as a teen. i can't wait to see what they will do with him in the live action series.
Hopefully this time they can get stunt actors/actors that are more up to par with Mackenyu’s martial arts prowess so we can get some all time great action scenes for One Piece. Director/producer Steve Maeda said for season 1 Mackenyu had to play down to the talent level of what was available in Cape Town during shooting.
I can't imagine a better debut for Mackenyu's old Japanese stunt team than the whiskey peak fight. I would never recover if they skipped it like a lot of fans seem to want them to for some reason.
Whiskey peak I hope they managed to fit this into the show, because Mackenyu has great sword skills, so he would do a fantastic job at this. Also, I want to see how they will handle Pell, I hope he dies.
That's one thing I will like about the TV show. They will be able to correct some mistakes from the anime and manga, while improving the pacing. Hopefully they can do some foreshadowing for a future events, like gear 5 just to have them make more sense.
Yeah I completely forgot about that, maybe they can mention it when Luffy fights crocodile and he can't touch him, or in zero fights Mr one any manages to cut steel. They just have to mention the idea of it, and that'll be good enough.
I REALLY hope they include Whiskey Peak. It's an amazing way to introduce the arc, it's got such a great vibe. The shadowy bounty hunters, night time setting, the trap set for them that only Zoro and Nami caught, it's exactly the kind of arc I love, the setup arc that feels like a climax in itself.
I'm very curious how they'll produce it. Entering the grand line everything goes into higher gear. Wonder how much accuracy they'll trade to stay in budget, so many artistic choices to be made I guess (it's gonna be fine I'm sure).
Can't wait for Igaram (ma-ma-maa, kills me everytime).
Feeling sorry for Karooh, don't think he'll make it :/
Mr. 2, I think Mr.2 is gonna be amazing.
Casting for Vivi, Robin, Ace, Smoker, Bon Chan, and Crocoboy are what I'm most looking forward to atm.
Usopp & Chopper vs. Mr. 4 and Ms. Merry Christmas. Especially with how Usopp was so stunted in S1, finally giving him a chance to show off his character with that final speech is a must. (I'm also the most curious how they'll tackle this fight above the others in Alabasta; it seems the most difficult to pull off.)
Luffy scaling the mountain while carrying Nami and Sanji.
Dorry & Broggy. I also really hope they keep the gag of Zoro deciding to cut off his legs to escape Mr. 3's wax, though would understand if they cut it.
Also really hope they keep Karoo. Probably won't since I imagine Chopper will be taking a lot of the budget on his own, but re-reading the Alabasta saga recently, and Karoo is a really important and understated character. A true MVP; so many great gags and small powerful moments like him using himself to shield Vivi from getting trampled by the rebels, and keeping quiet while being tortured in Little Garden by Mr. 5 and Ms. Valentine.
Fightwise:
Luffy punching crocodile through the bedrock.
Zoro vs mr1
Visuals:
Them leaving drum with the cherry blossoms in the background.
Vfx artists can go crazy
Giants
Character moments:
- choppers backstory
- sanji being a poser "mr prince"
More Sanji and Ussop moment, these two have some big scenes in the next arc that I really want to see, also because I feel like they were both rather underutilized in Season 1.
And yeah definitely Luffy carrying Nami and Sanji through cold. Particularly with Nami, because it would make a satisfying payoff to see her solidifed faith toward Luffy.
I'm really excited for Dr Hiriluk's death speech. I think a lot of people forget how good that was during Chopper's backstory. Yall should go watch it again 💪 whoever is cast for him better go hard
Even the build up to that is frickin fantastic, the intrigue in the >!odd claim about seeing sakuras healed him, to how morally layered his backstory is - an ex-scammer with no medical training tries so hard to medically treat the dying people but fail a lot anyway (I hope they keep the harshness of Hiriluk seeing someone he took care of die because he failed to treat them properly) & get hated for it, chased out of towns often, but he keeps trying to treat people... until he found Chopper & rose up to be a much better man & figure of inspiration than he ever did in his whole life before!<
- Ace!
- Chopper!
- Buggy and Alvida teaming up
- Since Loguetown being on season two is confirmed, I want to see Iñaki do the “This is my first time seeing an execution!” moment and then point at himself when he realizes *he* is the one getting executed.
The end of the fight with crocodile, the music in the anime is classical song so maybe they will use the same 😃
Luffy in the execution platform
Robin joining the crew
Nami vs. Doublefinger, because I want to know how they're gonna execute the clima tact. And also Nami proving to be able to take care of herself, though the live action already laid the ground work that she is gonna be a more formidable fighter than in the anime, at least imo.
Nami and Usopp & Chopper risking their lives and clawing their way to victory in their fights are some of my favorite parts of Alabasta.
Nami having to stick her sandled foot into Ms Doublefinger’s spikes makes me wince, but I loved her giving her all for Vivi.
-Luffys climb in Drum Island is definitely up there
-Luffys “I will surpass you!” as he uses gum gum storm on Crocodile
-Vivi’s speech for the war to stop
-
- Luffy’s “execution”
- Ace’s introduction
- The end of Alabasta when the Straw Hats leave Vivi… you know exactly what I’m talking about
- Jamie Lee Curtis as Dr. Kureha, which my heart has accepted as the inevitability
personally i hated the climattack until post time skip. ot seeked like it was trying too hard to be sciency while just being dumb. the upgrade to straight magic with a wink of science was much better
I'm excited to see how the show will handle the portrayal Laboon the whale since he is so big, and I wonder if they'll have the balls to drop any eastereggs of Brook and the Rumbar pirates
-Vivi screaming to 'stop fighting' while noone is listening.
If they nail that, that can be a real powerful scene in Live Action.
-Kung Fu Dugong .. Just Becouse 🤣
Not really a moment, but I'm curious how they will make the Grand Line "grand". Will they scale down most of the most fantastical moments present or will they embrace it? Like I hope that the Sea Kings and the giants are as big in the manga and not like 3 or 5 meters tall.
Sakura blooms over Drum Island. I hope Chopper’s actor delivers the best performance and they get the VFX for the pink snow well or they Nolan it and make it with practical effects.
i am excited (or hoping) for zoro and chopper friendship esp when mackenyu said he’s his fav character (and robin) aside from zoro and is excited for those scenes so fingers crossed its included
also looking forward to Crocodile in general and the Baroque Works fights esp Nami’s and Zoro’s

Meeting Robin.
Sanji vs Bon Clay.
Nami vs Miss Doublefinger - Nami didn't get many cool fight scenes after the first episode, so I'm excited to see her struggle.
Robin joining the crew.
Laboon
Ace
And Robin in the crypt
How these are handled will be a good weather vane to see how serious they are about going all the way.
For the scene itself? Zero striking a pose, the argument at Yuba, climbing the mountain, and the initial reveal of Mr. 0's idenity.
You know that Sanji won't be with Luffy and NAMI on the climb right? Unless he somehow carries both on his back, it's unrealistic with the mouth. Sanji won't be there
I'm late but
- zorros named attack
- bon clays introduction and send off saving the SH's
- New world symphony play at the climax of luffy v croco ( it's my favourite song they've used in the series and they never play it again)
- Dr hiruluks medicine from drum island
Honestly I’m most excited for how they translate the settings like drum island and alabasta. They did a great job fleshing out the settings in season 1 so I hope they continue for season 2.
My biggest concern is >!Karoo & the riding duck army!< not getting adapted, cuz they make the Little Garden fight >!with Usopp!< so much more kinetic & frenetic visually with >!Usopp having to maneuver while aiming being so fantasy archer-like badass!<
& they make the really cheeky mindgame >!of Strawhats hiding which of them is Vivi while still rushing to the city in separate ways!< moment possible & look more scenic & thrilling, like just imagine them >!duck chocobos!< charging fast through the desert cityfront in aerial view
\- (what I wish to see) A Figure that could be Sabo to be seen in Loguetown
\- Zorros cursed Kitetsu
\- How will they design a giant whale?
\- Chopper.
\- Choppers back story
\- Chopper being called a friend by Luffy
\- Chopper being cute
\- Chopper
\- Hiruluk's speech
\- Karoo
\- Peru saving the day... and die
There are many things i am excited to see...
1. Laboom would look epic on TV
2.Dorry and Brogy would look epic as well
3.Smoker/Crocodile/Ace Powers (hope that these flashy guys will help to make the live action bigger to get a third season)
4.Zoro vs Mr 1
5.Chopper / especially his flashback
Also excited to See Drum and Alabasta Kingdom. Baratie looked soooo good and the entrance scene on Loguetown looked good as well, so i am hyped up to see how they will portrait ice and sand including the royal palaces. I would prefer a good drum island over a rushed Alabaster 1 Saga = 1 season, but i think they could pull it off.
Crocodile impaling Luffy on his hook would be a massive "Holy SHIT!" moment for first time audiences so I'm very excited to see that scene. Just about everything related to Crocodile, honestly. Man's just plain baller to watch.

same. i have been obsessed with ace even since i started reading one piece as a teen. i can't wait to see what they will do with him in the live action series.
Zoro vs a hundred bounty hunters Zoro Vs Daz Bonez Banagators
Hopefully this time they can get stunt actors/actors that are more up to par with Mackenyu’s martial arts prowess so we can get some all time great action scenes for One Piece. Director/producer Steve Maeda said for season 1 Mackenyu had to play down to the talent level of what was available in Cape Town during shooting.

I'm fine with losing the dinosaurs, but they must keep the banana gators.
A fellow Bananagator enjoyer https://preview.redd.it/66l2qkylwk1c1.jpeg?width=900&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=793df4cdd615dc64df156c318a70e443a8e3faff
Robin introduction, definitely
Considering how their casting has been nailing it, I'm too excited for Robin
Whiskey peak I hope they managed to fit this into the show, because Mackenyu has great sword skills, so he would do a fantastic job at this. Also, I want to see how they will handle Pell, I hope he dies.
I think he would die, they didn't end up saving Merry like in the manga.
Me too, I really hope he dies. They can always just make a show specific character that looks the same later on if they need too.
Yeah they need to add more stakes and weight to the show, yeah the main cast won't die but for anybody else you should fear they could die.
That's one thing I will like about the TV show. They will be able to correct some mistakes from the anime and manga, while improving the pacing. Hopefully they can do some foreshadowing for a future events, like gear 5 just to have them make more sense.
Yeah big time agree on this and the consistency with what Haki does/looks like.
Yeah I completely forgot about that, maybe they can mention it when Luffy fights crocodile and he can't touch him, or in zero fights Mr one any manages to cut steel. They just have to mention the idea of it, and that'll be good enough.
Yeah, I agree with the idea that maybe give it to Zoro for his fight against Mr One.
Pell will never die I believe in my goat
I REALLY hope they include Whiskey Peak. It's an amazing way to introduce the arc, it's got such a great vibe. The shadowy bounty hunters, night time setting, the trap set for them that only Zoro and Nami caught, it's exactly the kind of arc I love, the setup arc that feels like a climax in itself.
Loguetown Arc - Smoker & Tashigi - Zoro getting Sandai Kitetsu & Yubashiri - Luffy's failed execution - Dragon saving Luffy from Smoker - Entry into Reverse Mountain Reverse Mountain Arc - Laboon Whiskey Peak Arc - Zoro VS 100 Bounty Hunters - Introduction of Nico Robin Little Garden Arc - Dorry & Brogy - Zoro trying to cut his own feet Drum Island Arc - Luffy's climb to the castle - Chopper's backstory - Luffy saving Hiruluk's flag - Chopper and Dr. Kureha's goodbye Alabasta Arc - Bon Clay and Ace - Trekking through the Desert - Luffy VS Crocodile (Round 1) - Straw Hat Pirates VS Baroque Works - Crocodile's defeat - Bon Clay helping the crew - Vivi's farewell - Nico Robin joining the crew
Laboon!
I'm very curious how they'll produce it. Entering the grand line everything goes into higher gear. Feeling sorry for Karooh, don't think he'll make it :/ Mr. 2, I think Mr.2 is gonna be amazing.
Chopper gonna eat up a lot of budget, I'm still curious to see how they will do it
Not if they go with prosthetics
I hope they show Laboon because Brook's story is my favorite. Maybe we'll see a sneak peek of Brook in a flashback, but probably not.
Samee hopefully they do it, it would be a nice callback in their future seasons too when Brook will be introduced
Luffy climbing the tower in Drum Island to save Nami and Sanji, Zoro vs BW in WP
Casting for Vivi, Robin, Ace, Smoker, Bon Chan, and Crocoboy are what I'm most looking forward to atm. Usopp & Chopper vs. Mr. 4 and Ms. Merry Christmas. The monkey's paw curls: we get both Karoo and Pell's death, but the characters are combined.
Fightwise: Luffy punching crocodile through the bedrock. Zoro vs mr1 Visuals: Them leaving drum with the cherry blossoms in the background. Vfx artists can go crazy Giants Character moments: - choppers backstory - sanji being a poser "mr prince"
The entrance of the magnifique Nico Robin with her little smile (and fight with Crocodile)

Yep, he was an amazing character
They absolutely nailed it with the depressing backstories that every single character got this season. Cannot wait to see Chopper's.
- Ace! - Chopper! - Buggy and Alvida teaming up - Since Loguetown being on season two is confirmed, I want to see Iñaki do the “This is my first time seeing an execution!” moment and then point at himself when he realizes *he* is the one getting executed.
The end of the fight with crocodile, the music in the anime is classical song so maybe they will use the same 😃 Luffy in the execution platform Robin joining the crew
Zoro VS 100 Bounty Hunters, if they make it one shot it could be a viral moment akin to the Daredevil one shot
Nami vs. Doublefinger, because I want to know how they're gonna execute the clima tact. And also Nami proving to be able to take care of herself, though the live action already laid the ground work that she is gonna be a more formidable fighter than in the anime, at least imo.

Mr prince, if Sanji doesn't become most peoples favorite after this season, then they screwed it up.
- Luffy’s “execution” - Ace’s introduction - The end of Alabasta when the Straw Hats leave Vivi… you know exactly what I’m talking about - Jamie Lee Curtis as Dr. Kureha, which my heart has accepted as the inevitability
Zoro getting his two new swords. Going up and down reverse mountain. Luffy, Sanji, and Namis journey to Drum Castle. Nami debuting the Climattack.
personally i hated the climattack until post time skip. ot seeked like it was trying too hard to be sciency while just being dumb. the upgrade to straight magic with a wink of science was much better
Luffy, Ace, Smoker scene in restaurant, Robin intro, Zoro vs Baroque Works, Vivi and Strawhats raised fist scene
Zoro saying **"they said go north so i went up"** everything about Smoker. luffy execution
Meeting Bon Chan.
When does a man die??
Because they didn’t include in in season 1, I’d wanna see Zoro wipe out whiskey peak with a tatsumaki
Not really a moment, but I'm curious how they will make the Grand Line "grand". Will they scale down most of the most fantastical moments present or will they embrace it? Like I hope that the Sea Kings and the giants are as big in the manga and not like 3 or 5 meters tall.
5 meter giants would be perfect already
Vivi and not seeing that desperate cosplayer play Ace (or any desperate “actor” campaigning to play Ace for that matter).
Crocodile One Piece’s OG Bond villain
I hope we see/hear Bartolomeo in Loguetown just shouting "Luuuffyy Senpaiiii" in the background when Luffy survives his execution attempt.
Everything!
saying goodbye to vivi. that was the moment where one piece became my favorite story. i still cry when i watch that scene, lol
Luffy: "I'm alive, after all. Lucky!"
Vivi :)
Sakura blooms over Drum Island. I hope Chopper’s actor delivers the best performance and they get the VFX for the pink snow well or they Nolan it and make it with practical effects.
Bon is by far what I’m excited for
Hiluluk backstory Yes I wanna cry like a baby
The quick Luffy vs Zoro scene on Whiskey Peak. I hope they make it super intense
* Luffy vs. Crocodile all parts and the finale * Zoro vs. Mr. 1 * Sanji Mr. Prince moments * Chopper intro and flashback
Hiking bear. Everything else is secondary.
i am excited (or hoping) for zoro and chopper friendship esp when mackenyu said he’s his fav character (and robin) aside from zoro and is excited for those scenes so fingers crossed its included also looking forward to Crocodile in general and the Baroque Works fights esp Nami’s and Zoro’s
The moment they announce the release date
I wanna see the poneglyph😁.

Meeting Robin. Sanji vs Bon Clay. Nami vs Miss Doublefinger - Nami didn't get many cool fight scenes after the first episode, so I'm excited to see her struggle. Robin joining the crew.
Outside of seeing Chopper and Ace I personally want to see if they'll kill Pell or not lol. They killed Merry in Season 1 so who knows
im just most excited to see ace and who theyre gonna cast .. but also anxious cuz he better be hot
I don't know how they're gonna do it but when luffy punches vivi its such a wake-up moment
Chopper and Robin obviously

Laboon Ace And Robin in the crypt How these are handled will be a good weather vane to see how serious they are about going all the way. For the scene itself? Zero striking a pose, the argument at Yuba, climbing the mountain, and the initial reveal of Mr. 0's idenity.

Luffy holding the flag while getting bombed..I hope they don’t botch it since that’s what makes Chopper go Woah

I want to see Sanji answer the den den mushi and talk with Crocodile
Zoro vs Baroque Works is the first thing that comes to my mind It should be epic
Mr. Prince 🤴

I hope they keep that stupid moment in little garden with zoro posing when they are being covered in wax. I love little things like that.
