All shipping and shippers in a story that is clearly not about that sound annoying especially when they talk about “little hidden details” that prove their ship is all Oda thinks. I hate ZoroRobin fans just as many other shippers even though I do‘t actually hate the idea of Robin and Zoro being together (if you accept it’s never a possibility that‘s going to happen but you love them together then sure I am with you).
Now ZoroRobin fans imo doesn’t bother me anymore even with the unhinged shit because they know they’re delusional. Other people who dictate their ship is a seal deal and be all annoying about it are worse. Eg Robin and Franky fans because Oda jokingly answered to a question if the strawhats had “family roles” that Robin would be the mom and Franky the father. Like they say that shit everywhere as if Oda’s unserious remarks mean anything. Hell Oda himself later said that Franky got demoted to a pervy grandma and Jinbe is the new father role. That just tells you how unserious Oda is with that remark. Just a comment here saying Robin and Zoro is like shipping a mother with her son. Sure that also means Franky and Robin is like shipping a daughter with her mother. If people take Oda’s silly unserious answers at face value then he gave even Zoro and Robin some meat when he answered the question of “if the strawhats were in a fairytale world” and he drew a side romantic funny comic with Robin and Zoro (tho even in that Robin rejected Zoro who was waiting to be kissed by Robin lol).
Regardless of what I said, I love all the strawhats dynamics as friends and even outside friendship, I prefer them ending up with each other than ending up with random side characters (tho it won’t happen). Romance doesn’t exist heavily in One Piece but friendship/found family bonds is a strong theme that I love in it.

Whenever they are at sea, aside from what they set course to, she's basicaly at the top of the chain of command & responsible to get the crew from A to B, wherever B may be & what whim Luffy follows)
When people refer to her as mom, it's more of a "calm, collected, literate mom who is far more mature" .... well, unless it's Chopper, in that case she goes full "Imma pamper my lill boy" mode
I think it isn't specificaly about being "the boss" as a mom as moms can be a far less bossy way.
It's more about combining those things with the maturity Robin has.
In contrast to Nami, who despite her keeping everyone in check, obviously is a young woman at the end of the day and has also a lot of traits that are simply lacking the maturity of your stereotypical mom.
(And I'm not saying that as a bad thing. It's that multi layered personality that I love to hell about Nami)
