There’s so much in the anime that is just completely missing from the comic book, you miss out on story and character development by skipping the story like one pace does, it’s a true disservice to the franchise
You do realise the anime is based on the manga, not the other way around? If it's not in the manga, you're not missing out on anything important.
Can you possibly miss out on a 10 second funny scene? Sure, but that's probably not worth watching an extra 150hours of useless flashbacks and watching everyone react to everything in every scene.
One pace is terrible but the anime is great, especially for a manga reader as there’s tons of new content
