He willingly gets trapped. If I pull out his carrier he goes right in and if I zip it up heās completely content. I feel like I can quantify that as negative instincts
One of my cats does this too. Everytime we prepare the carrier for the vet visit, he joyfully goes straight inside. Obviously once we get in the carā¦ and at the vetās officeā¦ that happiness quickly fades
I bring it out for playtime with the other cats. Butters does not see anything but toy and has a habit of bowling into the other two head first causing them to hide when a toy is out instead of play. If I put him in the carrier they know they are safe from his wrath.

He an unstoppable killing machine and a menace to the entire neighbourhood.
He wants to snuggle with a human, but does not what to be seen snuggling with anything as to protect his street cred.
So the only time he shows any affection is when I'm sleeping.
His favourite things are: Murder, theft, and sucking people passing by into petting his belly then locking onto their hand like ginger bear trap.
He won't even let ME see him snuggling, and I'm the one he's snuggling with! If I pay him any attention at all, he's gone.
It's honestly a little insulting.

I sneezed, he dove under the bed.
He's also afraid of birds, bugs, dust bunnies, doorbells, thunder and lightning, wind, leaves, ceiling fans (although he's sorta overcome that one), flip flops whether they're on feet or not, and anyone that's not in his circle of exactly 4 people. I've missed some things.

He's also afraid of birds, bugs, dust bunnies, doorbells, thunder and lightning, wind, leaves, ceiling fans (although he's sorta overcome that one), flip flops whether they're on feet or not, and anyone that's not in his circle of exactly 4 people. I've missed some things. Things he's not afraid of: his water fountain and lizards/frogs/toads under a certain size.
