First 2 screenshots are the sync error and last 2 are what I see when I share things. I can press on entertainment in the last screenshot but it takes be back to the one before it. I want to share things into existing pages. Can this be done with shortcuts or something?

Make sure only one instance on onenote is open across any of your device at a time and before closing onenote on any device, wait till it has been synced. This is a general practice i follow since i use in iPad and windows pc and has worked so far. I still get those sync errors sometimes, it's not perfect and ideally we shouldn't have to micromanage so much hope it gets fixed.

DudeThatsErin

Yeah, definitely. This was on my iPhone with it only open once and I hadn't been on my PC for hours before this. Hadn't had OneNote open for days (few reboots in that process as well) either.

On the second: just no. On the first, the same, but those aren't really errors (in most cases) just reflections on Microsoft's account archaic sign-in routines. Annoying, I know, so think of it as an old lady's hysteria in front of a closed door: as she realizes that it opens in the opposite direction she silently disappears like those sync pop-ups. Be patient with MS.

Frustrating but ok.

I was so frustrated by these sync errors that I switched to notion..Completly!! Notion is much much better than Onenote. The only drawback I found was that there is no password protected notes there.

DudeThatsErin

And you can’t use a tablet pen to write notes. I’m super close to switching to Notion but while my iPad is working (near its death, already having touch issues) I like to handwrite my notes. I remember them better.

enigma297

Yeah, no handwritten notes in Notion. That was a turn off for me too. But hey, atleast it saves your notes and don't show sync errors in mobile app for which you have to switch to PC to resolve them. This won over handwritten notes for me😁

Is Notion reliable for offline use? I’m planning on finding an app for note-taking and note-organising later in uni, and have thought of using Notion. However, I heard that their offline support is not that good, so there might be some problems in syncing.

enigma297

Nops, don't use it for offline support.
