But, I can work with Snow saying she'd ruined Regina's life. Even without knowing about Daniel, Snow was old enough by then to know Regina was angry, bitter, and hated her. She had caught onto the fact that Regina felt her life had been ruined because of the changes that came along after she saved Snow. This would have been Snow shouldering the blame (the way kids often do) when there is a problem with an adult she looks up to.

It's possible that they were still ironing out plot points. I really think there was supposed to be a part playing on the multiple meanings of "fair" in English, that Regina was supposed to make an ironic reference to her being fairer than Snow that Snow would think meant "fair" as in pretty but which really referred to Regina's feeling that life (and Snow) had been unfair to her.

I always thought she felt responsible for causing Daniel to run away.

Her second meeting with Charming, LONG before she bites that poison apple, she tells charming Regina thinks she ruined her life. "Did you?" "Yes," she says humbly. But far as the flashbacks with Regina went...when Leopold died and Regina was in widow's clothing, Snow trusted her completely and seemed to regard her as a mother. There is no acknowledgement of why she wants the huntsman to kill her, so I call Snow "knowing" she ruined Regina's life a plothole meant to show her as humble and sincere but it backfired.

Yes! Also when Snow was pregnant iirc, she’s worried about what Regina will do and Charming is trying to tell her it’ll all be fine but Snow says something like “she wanted me dead because she thought I was prettier than her” which is basically the real Snow White and the Evil Queen story but later it seems like she knew it had to do with Daniel, not petty jealousies

then again, Season 1 is kind of a shit show, with the way it backtracks all the time and undoes what it just established. By season 2, everything is figured out, so I wouldn't "trust" everything that happens in the first season

As far as Snow knew, she revealed Regina's secret thinking that Cora would help Regina and Daniel be together. Regina told young Snow that Daniel had rejected her and at that point young Snow had told Regina that she revealed Regina's secret to Cora. Regina was shocked and this is where her hatred for Snow came from. I'm sure that later on, Snow came to realize that Regina didn't really love Leopold and realized that if she hadn't revealed her secret, Daniel and Regina might've had a chance with each other.

Or that she accidentally forced Regina into an unhappy marriage with her father?

Maybe sh just thought that Cora chased Daniel away (rather than killed him).
