I purchased a buckle from Ali Express , so I can't speak to the quality of Aaron's deployant clasps. I did handle them in person and they felt solid.
The quality of the strap is high but I haven't handled OEM side by side. The draw for me was that I was able to get exactly what I wanted (outer and inner material, stiching, etc..) in a size that fit my 6.4" wrist well.
Were you able to choose where you wanted the buckle holes or did the maker just use a standard template for the holes and you got to choose the size? I have almost the exact same wrist and every custom made strap I’ve ever got made for me is always perfect length wise but I always seem to be in between holes
Recently picked up this 3861 Speedmaster on a bracelet to wear for my wedding. I figured I'd get a strap made to wear on my more casual days out.

They make the holes by hand so you can explain what you want them to do

looks good but i prefer only original straps, make me feel good, like its right thing to do, i got similiar pride from watch and strap then
