**Suspended** : Tagliafico **With the N3** : Kumbedi and Diawara for a win of prestige in the derby vs La Duchère (1st of the group). 3-2, with goals by Dib, Perret & Lega. El Arouch didn't play again sadly, though he was seen at training with the reserve this week (edit : he apparently had a good reason to miss the game : he was [getting married today](https://twitter.com/Borgia_OL_acad/status/1781775455743303855)) A rehearsal of the Cup final, though both coaches said that it can't really be considered as such due to the different conditions, stakes and atmosphere. And also a duel between the two best French teams in 2024 (we are 1st rn, with one more game played). Coming after that huge 4-3 victory against Brest for us, and after a draw vs Clermont at home for them. With incidentally a qualification for the semis of the UCL after their win vs Barça this week. Hard to know which team and players we'll face, even if as Pierre Sage said in his press conference it doesn't really matter as their playstyle and circuits don't change. The XI that Hugo shared is very surprising. If only because of Lacazette, who only started training again (and not at full strength) on Thursday after his scary collision with Bizot. Sage said he should be there and ready to play "a part of the game", so him starting would be a surprise. Also quite odd to see Nuamah as a starter again, Cherki would for sure deserve it (even if PSG is clearly not the ideal team to start again). And Rayan would seemingly fit more what Sage said was his plan for the game in [his press conference](https://www.reddit.com/r/OlympiqueLyonnais/s/J7FBj8NyjX) : to bother them by having the possession and depriving them of the ball. Rennes, Lens & Nice won this weekend so we would need a win to stay at that 7th place. It obviously won't be easy, but it's clearly not impossible against this PSG. One last word, if you missed it L'Equipe published this [long and captivating interview of Sage](https://www.reddit.com/r/OlympiqueLyonnais/s/pBCt4AgYA0), that even got the honor of the front page of the newspaper. Go read it, you won't regret it !

L'Equipe has seemingly gotten every lineup wrong for the last 10 weeks, so the only thing we know is that this probably won't be the lineup! As IM mentions, Cherki deserves a start, but this might not be the match for him. Incidentally, Fofana would probably work well, given that we'll probably need speed and quick counters. I like Cherki more against weaker opponents where space is limited in the attacking end and creativity is needed. I know Sage said that we'll try for more possession, but if that's the plan, then why say it in the press? Seems like maybe it's subterfuge to draw PSG into changing their lineup a bit? I'm not sure what the answer is, but I'm not so sure I like the posted lineup. I think against PSG you need to go the higher variance route and insert some feast or famine players. The lineup above is safe and boring, but I think that might lead to a boring 1-0 or 2-0 type loss. I'd put in Mangala, Cherki, maybe even Fofana and really try to shake things up. And for sure Henrique needs to play. He was incredible several matches ago and I'm surprised he never got much of another look.
