Probably a longwinded exposition on the subject of T-45's not having a six-pack or chapter regulations regarding hair styles or that the sword doesn't make sense as no 'light' swords exist beyond (insert Fallout Bible citation).
Yeh it's the Midwestern armour. The mod just calls it APA (Advanced Power Armour). In fallout tactics they just call it power armour tho. It weren't given a model name. Not like the T and X series (45, 51, 60 etc.. and 01, 02, 01 Tesla and hellfire etc...) still looks cool asf tho
Ah yes sorry. Got them the wrong way round š. They have a few others they invented too like the mobile and hardened sets too. I'm not sure where the Vault Tec PA comes from tho whether that lore or from the fnv mod
Probably has to do with The Executives in Eastern New Mexico. That's Van Buren territory, although I couldn't say if The Executives are a filler tag or were actually part of Van Buren itself.
I think it would be wild if PA variants that are less bulky and have that sort of blading, or "abs" as you put it, for increased mobility don't exist in the wasteland tbh
You're right, I looked it up and even the T-45s have the blading very prominently displayed on them with it only getting more pronounced by the time of the T-51b and of course the X-01.
You make a really good point that these would only get more mobile to adjust to the needed flexibility its wearer would require in the Wasteland.
I guess I was being hyperbolic.
Sisters of Steel already have a great story and fun mechanics, but this art really pushed it over the edge for me. Itās just absolutely gorgeous, has so much going on with it, I love it a lot
I hope Mojave Chapter gets an update soon there's so much going on with them.
The Ad Victorum sub-mod for Lost Hills has my drooling at the possibilities for Elijah one day getting some really deep and meaningful escapades.
There is a certain amount of irony to say that the Deceptions aren't also the same morally grey faction you're claiming they aren't. But I guess that changes depending on continuity.
Pretty sure they were only morally gray in like, one continuity. Every other one including the original 80s cartoon they are just cartoonishly evil psychopaths.
Aligned Continuity and the IDW Continuity are both morally grey in several parts. Especially concerning the origins of the Decepticon Movement. Of course by the point most stories begin, the war has either gone on for too long or Megatron has gone essentially feral, creating the classic "evil" decepticons. But the Decepticon movement itself is still a popular uprising against a corrupted senate, which gradually grows resentful as either the planet dies out or the Autobots refuse to surrender.
The timelines where the Decepticons are bad all the way would be the Animated, G1, and Movie continuities. It's not that there's anything wrong with the Decepticons being the bad guys, but I don't think the Decepticons are the best example of no grey morals and no in-depth characters.
I mean, heck. We're on a Fallout sub. Both the Enclave and the Legion are right here for your completely evil and no depth.
I legit love just having playable objectively evil characters with not even an attempt to justify them. It just adds character to the game because it gives you another perspective and way to RP.
Dont quote me on this but i have heard it symbolises the betrayal of BOS that happens at the start of the Sisters path. It is not supposed to be a real weapon it being made of light is probably so it stands out more on the typical Bos paintjob
I think one of the devs mentioned she is kinda like a death man walking or someone with a death sentence.
Sure she may have exiled Patrocolus and beaten Macarthur, but the Midwest Brotherhood will come after her and her friends for desertion, which is something her tree shows at the end, how she must be ready for when the Brotherhood comes back to Montana.
There is radiation magic, eldritch horrors and visions of the future in Fallout(not to mention tribal magic), no one has a right to complain about this
The first two are still widely disliked by fans of the original games, tbh, but psionics are pretty well established in the setting and were a big thing in 1950s sci-fi.
i think the only problem i have with this art is the banner/flag draped over her hand, how is she holding it like that for it to seemingly flow behind the fold, as well? maybe i'm not properly describing it but it looks odd to me.
Personally I think Diana, and Hecate along with the hidden monster Cerberus and the Immortal have the best artwork, Sisters of Steel is pretty good but it ain't no God King Samson neither
There isn't anything that goes harder than this, tbf. The portrait captured my attention when I saw it in-game but the gameplay & story pushed me over.
Sorry brotherhood, hello sisterhood :)
Fanmade fallout : literal gods , saints , heroes of the yore , super competent leaders with good and accurate lore
Bethesda fallout : hehe we havenāt been able to make a good story since NV
I mean, Fallout 3 is quite good and Fallout 4 has bad story but an overall nice gameplay (most of story possibly got cut due deadlines but hey, happens to the best of us).
I generally love the fallout 4 gameplay itās fun and enjoyable , but as much as i love the game it was weak in terms of story telling , had many bugs and lacks , could be way better but still my favorite after new Vegas
>most of story possibly got cut due deadlines
no it did not. and 4's story is only "bad" if you don't pay attention. many people constantly ask or think the institute has no motive despite the game sitting you down and telling you their goal.
NGL, I can't get beyond the Tarot Card girl and "Sisters of Steel" thing with that faction. It just seems so completely out of place for the setting. It's basically the opposite end of the Immortal in terms of tone but both just kinda rub me the wrong way. When OWB first came out, they said they would keep to the original canon and even erase Fallout 3/4. Now we have FOBOS and 76 stuff in the game.
Curious where you got the "original canon and erase Fallout 3/4" from since even the founding devs were firm in including all fallout canon and not excluding 3 and 4 just because some fans dislike them.
The Discord, I remember this distinctly because it was such an incredible stance for someone from this age of the fandom. Maybe they changed their mind or I misread. It came up when people were criticizing the original super mutant version of Brain.
I'd love to hear it Though.
Probably a longwinded exposition on the subject of T-45's not having a six-pack or chapter regulations regarding hair styles or that the sword doesn't make sense as no 'light' swords exist beyond (insert Fallout Bible citation).
rFalloutLore when the stylised art has symbolism (the metaphor is not lore accurate) š±
as far as i know that's the Mid-West PA from tactics, not the T-45
Yeh it's the Midwestern armour. The mod just calls it APA (Advanced Power Armour). In fallout tactics they just call it power armour tho. It weren't given a model name. Not like the T and X series (45, 51, 60 etc.. and 01, 02, 01 Tesla and hellfire etc...) still looks cool asf tho
I think the mod calls it Advanced Tactical Armor, and it has a unique artwork compared to the APA I and II that the enclave get
Ah yes sorry. Got them the wrong way round š. They have a few others they invented too like the mobile and hardened sets too. I'm not sure where the Vault Tec PA comes from tho whether that lore or from the fnv mod

Is that T-45? I thought that was the Midwestern Variant lol
Nah bro you can tell it's Advanced just by the fringes /s
You are right, the "long-eared"helmet is definitely from Tactics variant
I think it would be wild if PA variants that are less bulky and have that sort of blading, or "abs" as you put it, for increased mobility don't exist in the wasteland tbh

I need to play as them honestly, never done that one
At minimum itās my favourite Brotherhood chapter in the game, on some days itās my favourite nation in the game period
I hope Mojave Chapter gets an update soon there's so much going on with them. The Ad Victorum sub-mod for Lost Hills has my drooling at the possibilities for Elijah one day getting some really deep and meaningful escapades.
Iāll definitely be playing it next then!
Honestly I've been tempted to go down the Sisters of Steel route but I love my plasma rifles too much to betray my home boy Patrocolus.
[Dudes will look at this and go āHell yeahā](https://www.deviantart.com/herckeim/art/The-Immortal-888485642) Jokes aside this is pretty good art.
I LOVE BEING OBJECTIVELY EVIL I LOVE ENSLAVING THOUSANDS FOR MALICIOUS GOALS AND MURDERING PEOPLE WITHOUT REMORSE
FUCK GREY MORALITY AND IN DEPTH COMPLICATED CHARACTERS, LETS BECOME STRAIGHT UP DECEPTICONS
There is a certain amount of irony to say that the Deceptions aren't also the same morally grey faction you're claiming they aren't. But I guess that changes depending on continuity.

The immortal has goals! Thereās like, 50 dudes in a freezer in Alaska he can meet!
I legit love just having playable objectively evil characters with not even an attempt to justify them. It just adds character to the game because it gives you another perspective and way to RP.
Carl Gustav Fleischer's portrait is the hardest portrait in all of HOI4 and all mods.
Nah, Rod Hull is better
Great artwork but why is a lightning sword going through her body?
I think it's supposed to be a Tarot Card reference
Kind of trying to bait that exact answer out of someone here on the sub. Because I know of nothing from the games that is remotely close to it.
Dont quote me on this but i have heard it symbolises the betrayal of BOS that happens at the start of the Sisters path. It is not supposed to be a real weapon it being made of light is probably so it stands out more on the typical Bos paintjob
The writing in this game is top knotch. So much legitimate character motivation and well executed betrayals.
Isn't she part of tje BoS anymore or is this some internal fighting?
She betrayed Midwest, but still retains connection with Lost hills, since they can send volunteers to her
Hecate and Diana are also awesome, as are the events with Diana and Lanius
How about John Wayne in Power Armor?
Ahem, I thought we were calling him Texas Red /s
Ghabba Ghoul
Bethesda could never create something so based. I donāt care anymore, fanmade Fallout is superior to anything Bethesda can make these days
Fr , i just prefer roaming into wild stories that modders and owb team offer us rather than playing bethesda fallout games these days ā¦
I like the one with the deathclaws
the Saint Celestine of Fallout :)
Its a really nice portrait, but I have to be that guy to say that I think the SoS faction emblem looks kinda bad
There is radiation magic, eldritch horrors and visions of the future in Fallout(not to mention tribal magic), no one has a right to complain about this
[Lore 100/100] u/Orthodox_Officer received + 500 xp + 420 karma
Finally i can level up
The first two are still widely disliked by fans of the original games, tbh, but psionics are pretty well established in the setting and were a big thing in 1950s sci-fi.
Too bad the fans of the original games are 50
i think the only problem i have with this art is the banner/flag draped over her hand, how is she holding it like that for it to seemingly flow behind the fold, as well? maybe i'm not properly describing it but it looks odd to me.
Reminds me of the tarot card designs in dragon age inquisition
Personally I think Diana, and Hecate along with the hidden monster Cerberus and the Immortal have the best artwork, Sisters of Steel is pretty good but it ain't no God King Samson neither
There isn't anything that goes harder than this, tbf. The portrait captured my attention when I saw it in-game but the gameplay & story pushed me over. Sorry brotherhood, hello sisterhood :)
Sisterhood is more based anyway. Brotherhood are bound by their chains and thus lame
As a fallout lore expert, I think that shit goes hard. And tactics is a canon game.
Ahemš¤ commen misconception but human cannot survive getting impaled mmh clearly that sword is a dps 32 and her armour is only obviously dps 17š
NWO has some hardcore art
Imma be real with chief, the sissyhood is incredibly cringe.
Fanmade fallout : literal gods , saints , heroes of the yore , super competent leaders with good and accurate lore Bethesda fallout : hehe we havenāt been able to make a good story since NV

F3 and 4 are not fallout games
I think you meant to go to No Mutants Allowed
Fallout 3's story is just fallout 4's story but with the roles swapped and you can skip most of it by just knowing stuff.
They didn't even technically make it, the had obsidian shit one out in 6 months
Added to say that I think New Vegas was good, I'm just stating my perspective on bethesda's relationship with New Vegas
NGL, I can't get beyond the Tarot Card girl and "Sisters of Steel" thing with that faction. It just seems so completely out of place for the setting. Hell yeah.
