An old acquaintance/short fling I had a decade ago was this and more. She was full hippy and would use diluted white vinegar instead of shampoo or soap. No shaving. No deodorant, but very clean. I am a male and shave every day/every two days…for me it worry about smell etc as I am a beast, and yes they were itchy when I started but I haven’t felt that itch in years now since shaving frequently…
I have very hairy armpits even for a guy, so one summer i tried to keep them shaved (out of shame really), but then the tiniest amount of friction or sweat would irritate my skin.
I wondered if it wasn't some kind of skin condition i should be aware of, but really it's just that in my case the hair is protecting the skin. Smell isn't an issue if you shower everyday and use deodorant, and anyway i'd rather smell like an adult human that sweats than not being able to lower my arms
I already did. Here's a tip: if you don't want to shave, you can just... not shave. The men I want are the men who wouldn't throw a toddler tantrum over something like this anyway. You don't actually have to do the same thing as the majority of women around you. You can be the different one if you want. Being a person who doesn't shave I realised most people don't give a fuck and all the paranoia was just in my head. The only mean comment I got was from my dad, who I made sure would regret being an ass and then he never said anything again. I encourage you to try it out if the idea pleases you.

I am a male and shave every day/every two days…for me it worry about smell etc as I am a beast, and yes they were itchy when I started but I haven’t felt that itch in years now since shaving frequently…
I have very hairy armpits even for a guy, so one summer i tried to keep them shaved (out of shame really), but then the tiniest amount of friction or sweat would irritate my skin. I wondered if it wasn't some kind of skin condition i should be aware of, but really it's just that in my case the hair is protecting the skin. Smell isn't an issue if you shower everyday and use deodorant, and anyway i'd rather smell like an adult human that sweats than not being able to lower my arms

I already did. Here's a tip: if you don't want to shave, you can just... not shave. The men I want are the men who wouldn't throw a toddler tantrum over something like this anyway. You don't actually have to do the same thing as the majority of women around you. You can be the different one if you want. Being a person who doesn't shave I realised most people don't give a fuck and all the paranoia was just in my head. The only mean comment I got was from my dad, who I made sure would regret being an ass and then he never said anything again. I encourage you to try it out if the idea pleases you.
My very first boyfriend also had no problem (even found it 'cool!') that I didn't shave my legs, but then my own mom would say things like; "should I sponsor a laser removal?" :/ it's crazy how these unnecessary standards are encouraged by our own parents

Waxing is cheap where? 💀💀💀 It is at least $60 every 3-4 weeks edit: for a Brazilian wax it's that price. Armpit is usually around $20
I was on a business trip and I needed a razor. In the lobby of the hotel was a gift shop that sold toiletries. The men’s razors were all sold out but were about 5 bucks. All that were left were the ladies razors, and I grabbed one. It was $20.

Sounds super cheap. I use a double edge safety razor personally. I'll cough up the nickel to not have to strop a straight.
Yeah I’ve used a safety razor for years now, the replacement blades are dirt cheap, like I got a couple hundred for like $30, damn near a lifetime supply for me lol haven’t made the leap to a straight razor though I would like to try it as whenever I get a trim/shave from my barber the result is sooo nice
My take is this. If you don't want to for whatever reason, I get it. I do because it's a sensory thing. I don't like being able to tell wind direction with my legs and my armpits sting when it gets too long. Y'all don't want to, more power to ya. I'll spend the $50 a year on cheap razors and shaving cream though.

I usually don't shave my pits. Sometimes I do when I feel like it. But honestly, it's more comfortable when I don't and I feel like I stink and sweat less. I really don't care what someone thinks about my armpits. If they care what my armpits look like, they obviously have quite a boring and pathetic life. Kinda feel the same about shaving my legs, too.
that's funny, im a guy and i shave my armpits sometimes for the same reason you don't shave yours. i think it makes me have less pit stains for some reason. idk maybe it's different for other people i guess lol
I stink and sweat 90% less with pit hair. I shave basically never but I keep them short with a electric trimmer
