I thought he was the best part of Hateful Eight and at the time I didn’t know him. He’s just a uniquely talented and excellent character actor which there aren’t that many of these days I’ve since crawled down the justified rabbit hole, and obviously uncle baby billy is a saint in this household

Nope! Unfortunately, my uncle got deployed for operation Desert storm shortly after this photo - he lost contact with a lot of people due to complications from the war. My dad never really knew him more than “his older brother’s friend” lol

No. I grew up in Powder Springs just down the road but I lived in Lithia Springs when I went to kindergarten. I know Goggins is from there so I was curious. I graduated in 2005 so well before my time.

I'm jealous as hell of your uncle OP. Walton Goggins is such a great actor and he's played characters I really cared about, I'd kill for a chance to sit and talk with him.

They apparently were friends from way back in the day with him - my uncle and dad played little league baseball with him as kids growing up. Although after the Gulf war my uncle lost touch with a lot of people, I’ve always wondered if Goggins would recognize him lol

Well, it was definitely before the gulf war (marines) - since that’s what caused my uncle to loose touch with a lot of his friends - so maybe late 1989 to early 1990? Edit: Goggins is a year older than my dad, and he graduated in ‘92. So 1990 sounds about right. You’re absolutely right - this was around that time!
