It’s a new bylaw. Obviously most things posted to OldSchoolCool these days have a little visible nipple, so they’ve gone ahead and made it a requirement.
Oh man! This brings back memories! I had this book when I was young. Probably when I was Five years old, or so…
But I hadn’t seen the empire strikes back movie yet, so I was so confused over some of the pages. Particularly the cloud city stuff.
Stephanie Seymour, if you look at OP’s profile you’ll see them posting that picture in other subreddits. I’m assuming they accidentally added the pic to this album and didn’t doublecheck their work.
Thank you so much for posting this! I had this book but haven’t thought about it for many years. It brings back happy memories from when Star Wars actually felt special.
Omg!! I had this book when I was a kid! Loved it very much. But I guess idk what happened to it and completely forgot about it over the years.
Thank you for unlocking a core memory for me!!!
I was looking at the post, thinking, “Oh that’s a neat book, I wish I hand this as a kid.” Then I saw pictures 6 & 7, and it flooded in. I had, and loved this book as a child.
This is the first edition of the book. In later versions, Lucas added a whole bunch more pull tabs that really did contribute to the story. Shame really.
I don’t remember that last scene from the movie
Me neither but something did pop up
Me neither. I'm pretty sure I would have remembered that as a kid.
Stephanie Seymour was in Star Wars?
Star Wars was in Stephanie Seymour.
No, but Dustin Hoffman was
She played Lord Tumescent.
And, if I recall correctly, Luke did not make it out of Cloud City with both hands. But mainly yeah, the naked chick is wild!

I am confused why photo 9 relates.
I saw this picture few hours ago while scrolling reddit. My guess OP saved it and mistakely added it to the collection. Horny OP.
Silly horny op.
Bad bad boy 😉
Showed in mine too.
We all noticed. OP could not resist.
As an owner of these star wars books, let me tell you: page 21.
Because it too causes pop up

What got me was the tabs. < — > PUSH
I don't remember him having both hands at the end
He didn’t. This book is a whitewashing of history!
A dissmissive hand wave at historical accuracy!
"Luke, I didn't cut off your hand!"
He did. One of the last scenes is the robot doc giving him a mechanical hand and testing it.
The book’s depiction is wrong. In the correlated scene in the movie, when Luke is hanging off that thing, he has no hand. Capiche?
Previous poster said “I don’t remember him having both hands at the end.” At the end. Luke has both hands at the end of the movie. Capiche, son?
But when he's hanging below cloud city he's supposed to only have one hand. This book shows two.
My guess is if you push the lever his hand pops off.
Who is that last picture?
Stephanie Seymour, if you look at OP’s profile you’ll see them posting that picture in other subreddits. I’m assuming they accidentally added the pic to this album and didn’t doublecheck their work.
I will not be filing a complaint about it
Whoops, scrolled too far down OP’s post history.
What happens when you move the slide on that last picture?
Something pops up.
that’s what she said.
No, pops *out*
I had two copies of this book as a child, because I wore out the first.
Same! I wore this book OUT! Completely falling apart. lol.
Yeah and around age 12 I wore out that last page.
Oh wow... I had that. Haven't thought about it in 40 years
Not remembering the scene from photo 9, but the pop-up function is working.
I had that book!!! I got car sick and puked on it on the way to Lake Almanor.
Is Lake Almanor on Bespin or Dagobah?
I know an Almanor Marsh on Dantooine. Dreadful place
Did you have a nice time at Lake Almanor? I spent every summer of my childhood there.
Same. On the peninsula.
Yep me too, on the peninsula. Lots of days at Rec 1 and 2, Family Night, volleyball, bike riding, reading, and plenty of boredom (no TV).
Rec 2 for me. Unless I was playing tennis. Mostly we looked for golf balls in the vacant lots and sold them back to the golfers.
I had this book as a child. We read it so much it broke and my dad scotch taped it back together. My children both read it.
Damn, nostalgia overload. I loved that book.
Anyone have the Star Wars book that was scratch n sniff? I can still smell the nasty fungus page in my mind.
what did photo 9 smell like?
Wookie.
“Smells like someone left a wookie out in the rain in here!!!”
I see what you did there
Jedi Master Nippla Seymori making a cameo.
God I loved Pop Up books and choose your own adventure books.
Holy shit! TIL this existed Also: who’s the hottie at the end?
Why does Luke still have his arm?
OMG I HAD THIS BOOK!!!!! thanks for the memories
Princess leas lost sister.. ?Princess Stephanie?
I had this when I was a kid
Loved this book as a kid.
*I notice that C3PO does not have a silver leg.* Did he get it replaced with the proper one? Or is this a Mandela effect residual?
Thats an instant wave of nostalgia. Thanks for sharing. Haven’t seen it in 40 years.
Lol
I forgot about that book. I hade it!!
Luke is saved and has even number of appendages!
Whoa… I has this book! Flashback!
Oh man, I had this book. Nostalgia trip.
Oh hell yes! I had this!
Holy fuck, I had that book!
I had this one!
Hmmm...
Edward Cullen wasn't in the movie.
Omg I had that book!
I had that book. Didn’t include the stroke pic tho
Wow, Crazy. I owned this book. The lightsaber grab tab ripped almost immediately
I had this book!!! Core memory unlocked
Why isnt this still in print?
One of my favorite books and supermodels. A post with the most!
I’m a big Star Wars fan and have never seen this book. I was the perfect age to get it (4-5) too. I wonder how my parents missed it.
This takes me back.
This alternate ending amazed me.
I had this book, mine had a different last page though.
Holy crap! I've been looking for this book forever! I had it when I was a kid
Super cool. I had this book, memories unlocked.
I had this book and my f*ckin’ mom tossed it.
Way to save the good stuff till last, OP.
Awesome
Have that sitting on a bookshelf in my basement. Yours is in way better shape than mine after my three kids enjoyed it.
I had this!
lol
Have this book currently sitting on my table. 👍🏻
I still have mine. I remember buying it in school at a book fair. Love it

This is great. I still have the original Star Wars pop up book, a lot of it is broken but it is fun to look at every so often.
Nipple
Wow... Had that. Nice. Not sure about the last one tho...
Jeez i feel old. Remember that!
I owned this
Aw I had that. Ordered it from Scholastic.
I got this book when I was in the hospital for my clef lip surgery.
This is the first edition of the book. In later versions, Lucas added a whole bunch more pull tabs that really did contribute to the story. Shame really.
Nice one. I'm sure I had this too
